I ordered the Modern Khaki in Straight Fit in Palomino Brown, size 34x36. These pants are comfortable and nearly perfect—straight through the thigh with enough room for comfort, not so slim that I can feel the fabric skimming the circumference of my leg. And flexible! I can squat to hoist my two-yea...r-old or crouch to retrieve whatever he's hoarded behind the couch without noticeable stress on the seams. They are so great, in fact, that it's almost disappointing that the tall sizes end at the 36" inseam. Old Navy chinos are available in 38" inseams (~46.5" outer length) and they fit me perfectly after a machine wash and dry. (For reference, I'm 6'4 at 200lbs, and I'm a 34x38 in the American Tall brand and in the Levi's brand.) Since 'tis the season for holiday discounts, I can justify the expense of having my tailor squeeze out another 3/4" from the hem to reach that length, hanging to dry for the lifetime of the pants. Despite size availability, it's still a five-star review. I ordered three more pairs in other colors.
Ordered two pairs of these pants, one in a stone, the other khaki. Khaki fit great and felt like a pretty good straight fit. The stone however felt more like a tapered fit and laying one over the other the pant leg was a good 2 inches tighter on the stone. The stone also had stitching coming loose a...t the crotch which I of course didn't notice until wearing for the first time. Overall unfortunate because if I knew the size would fit and quality would be good I would probably buy a blue pair too.

There are at least two things wrong with this product. First, the fabric is very strange. Almost like a new kind of coarse synthetic. Looks and feels weird. Second, although I ordered the same size as I've before, this item was way off. The inseam was at least 1 inch longer than normal.

The pants are great. The service sucks I paid 25.00 $ for 2 day delivery It came 4 days later I needed these for a wedding I also had to have alterations done Gap never sends anything in the days they say its always late The stores did not have these pants in them or I would have shopped there

If you work in an environment that is relatively casual, these pants are pretty good. The slim cut are not too slim. Gap made a change in fit last year that actually ended up making them better.
