I purchased4 of the heather grey last year for an extended trip and did not wear right away. I love the feel of the modern crewneck t shirts and so far they do not pill as fast as these V Necks. They were hand washed for the 5 months of our trip. Upon returning home I washed inside out, on the wrink...le free cycle. Pilling occurred after only 2 washes. It is on both sides of fabric and is very irritating to my skin. I now am seeing the same thing on the crew necks, but I have worn those for a few years so it seems the V Necks are different.
unfortunately, I hope you like black and white because you're never going to get any other color choices in a v-neck from Gap. you will have to play Russian roulette on the fabric because some years it's really awesome and other years it's sheer see-through and cheap. so get ready for a return if it...'s a bad year or a bad batch. but when you get the perfect batch, there is no better t-shirt. The sleeve length is gray. usually the overall torso length is great. it has just the right amount of stretch and cling to the body without highlighting the bumps you don't want to highlight. you can size up or down depending on how tight/loose you want the shirt to feel. unfortunately to really know if you will like it, you either have to purchase it and return it or go to the store which may or may not have the size or color you want. I'm most bitter about the lack of color choice because in general this shirt is awesome. 85% of the time, even with a few bad fabric batches every once in awhile.

Unfortunately I found the stitching on my v is off. I have to pull it over to make the v fall In the middle. I like the longer arm length so was looking forward to the teeshirt. It's true to size. Overall I was disappointed

These tees are not the same as the tees previously made in Indonesia, Jordan or Vietnam. Why was the styling changed? These say "Made in Cambodia" and the cut is totally different. Sleeves too long and v-neck too open - shoulders very narrow. I stopped buying them for awhile hoping they would stop being made in Cambodia or that the style would revert to the original but recently bought a few new ones and was disappointed that the sleeves are still too long and the shoulders too narrow and still being made in Cambodia. Not for me!!
