I love everything about this coat. The fabric looks to be a very nice quality, and the navy blue is a true, rich navy. I also sized down one size and found it to be an excellent fit. I found that the one I tried in my actual size was really too much fabric in the shoulders, and no-one wants to lo...ok like a sumo wrestler. This coat has very generous shoulders so one could wear a sweater underneath for extra warmth. The fact that it is not lined does not bother me, and I don't find it makes it more difficult to put on. I also really like that the collar is a perfect size in relation to the overall proportion of the coat. It's not too large or wide, so it keeps the oversized coat from looking overwhelming in the shoulder and upper body. The sleeves were a tad long for my slightly shorter arms, but it looks great simply folded up like a cuff. Overall, the length is perfect on me. Very stylish!!
I've been looking for a coat like this forever, so when I saw this on sale I was so excited. Even at sale cost, this coat is overpriced for its quality. There's no lining on the inside making it very itchy and the fabric is pretty thin. If you plan to wear tank tops or t-shirts under this coat, do n...ot get it. The main issue is that it runs EXTREMELY large. I'm 5'4", 135lbs and usually get a medium in tops. I bought this in a small and it is literally huge. I'm going to try to exchange it for a petite size and hope for the best, but I have I feeling I'll end up needing to return it after reading these reviews.

Comments about Oversized Wool Coat
I loved everything about this coat. It was soft, light weight, lovely camel color and great pockets! I should have looked at the size information and ordered a small; being a petite size the medium was just too large overall. I immediately got on line to order a small but every size was sold out.

This coat is gorgeous! I am so so glad it DID NOT have a lining. This way you can wear it in the Spring, Fall and Winter. I love the long length. I bought this in all 3 colors and so glad I did. I received loads of compliments and I did size down one size, it's PERFECT

gapcanada.ca/Took other's advise and downsized, then downsized again to an S. Tried both camel and navy. Looks more expensive in navy, the camel is a big too orangish therefore looks cheap. Not really a coat, kind of a hybrid. Either like an under coat or a sweater coat, unlined wool mix but for that it's soft and moves well. Was overpriced but on sale, it's worth the price.

gapcanada.ca/This wool-blend coat is unlined. Seems pointless. You could only wear it for a limited time in the fall but it wouldn't take you into the winter. The sleeves have an unfinished look. Returned it.

The new GAP oversized wool coat's design is an update of a traditional design with a modern look. However, the coat is missing what the traditional designers understood a lining to prevent itching. The current lining which is blended into the coat is not effective. Nice hop look tho! 3 stars please!

Even though it's unlined as stated in the product details, the wool is soft, and it's a comfortable coat even if in direct contact with the skin. I bought a XS petite size and it's not oversized for me, just perfect.

For the price, this coat is on point. Some of these super trendy things can be outrageous but this is right on the mark. sits really well on shoulders, really good coat. Likely for usage on warmer spring or fall days as it is not nearly warm enough for a cold winter day.

gapcanada.ca/I bought this coat on sale, I don't think I would have paid full price for it. It is unlined so it is a bit itchy if you don't have long sleeves underneath. It would be a good overcoat but not warm enough to wear on its own in the winter. It is very oversized so I would suggest to size down.

gapcanada.ca/I love this coat, but after I had thrown away the tags I noticed that near the underarm their was a gaping hole where the material had not been sewn properly! Luckily I bought this coat on sale but it was still expensive and should've been in perfect condition!
