Dear Gap, The Petite XS is not true. The dress is lovely overall. Looks like denim but very lightweight and soft. Nice tiny embroidered flowers and lace detail. I got my usual medium, but the bust/shoulders were massive! The straps won't stay on my shoulders and there's massive gaping in the front and back. I actually love the dress so I'm super disappointed that the fit is so off. The rest of the dress fits as a expected and doesn't leave room to try sizing down. I'm trying to figure out if I can alter it in a way to make it functional and not ruin the lace, but as of now , its not wearable. Huge bummer - generally the rest of the dress is super pretty and lightweight. Perfect for summer...

#sweepstakes I wanted so badly to love this dress (LOVE the design). I'm 5'6" (about 125 lbs) and ordered a size Small Petite so the length looks like on the model (with it did... meaning Standard would have been way too long). Because it was a Petite, the torso was a bit too small for me, but not a deal breaker. I returned only because the blue was too saturated for my taste :-( Would have preferred a deeper blue (personal preference). I also wished it came with the same "string" that secure the bra straps (just like on the cami version of the dress. LOVED that feature. Genius)

Gorgeous dress, feels very expensive. The details are very pretty and it seems like it would cost more than it did. A bit long, even as a petite size and I'm 5'2.
