The boots are a comfortable heel height, padded sole. The calf fits my thin legs without too much gap. May not work for larger calves… They do run large. I wear 8.5 in most styles, but the 8 fits perfectly in these boots. Not too shiny as some faux leather appears. They sold out of black in my size, but the brown works well in my wardrobe
I've only had these 4 months and have only worn them a dozen times and the faux leather is cracked and flaking off. Super disappointing considering the price.
