My son usually wears a size 14 slim. I got the large slim, and they were very short, like a size 10, although the waist was perfect. He had already ripped off the tags, so I cut them into knee-length shorts. Cute jeans though. Wish they had XL in slim.

It took a bit to get the correct sizing, but when we did, they're awesome! They're soft enough that he wears them a lot. You have to get the sizing right because it's an elastic waistband without the ability to change the size at all. My boy's very skinny so we ordered them online- at the time in the slim options we had 1, 2, and 3 slim. We started with 2 (which ended up being a Medium size 8 slim). So we switched to a 3- it was a Large size 10 slim. It was perfect!
