Almost Perfect Tank Top for me!
This tank top I now have in almost every color despite the length being a little bit long. My bra straps do not show, the arm hole is not too big or small, it is not too low or high in the front or back, the cotton material gets more comfortable as it is worn, and it makes my breast look nicer and fits me very well. At first, the fit is snug but after wearing the top, the fit is comfortable with a form fitting look that looks great alone or with a half sleeve cotton sweater over it. This Yellow Shade is a bright happy color that I like. I wear a size Petite XS and I am only 4'10" tall, about 97 lbs and wear a size 34B breast. All the ... kept are 95% cotton and 5% spandex. I do not understand why the description is now saying 95% rayon and 5% spandex. I love the cotton fit with the stretchy spandex so the top is form fitting & comfortable. The top would be perfect if it was a little bit less long but I rather the tank top be a little bit long than too short.

I love these ...
My absolute favorite rib knit ... Ive tried a lot of the more common ones. They are worth the price. The fabric is soft, not at all itchy or scratchy. It is substantial enough that I do not feel naked, and to hold up to numerous washings, but it is not heavy or uncomfortable in hot humid summers. Dye is even, never gets spots from dye washing out. It is fitted without being constricting, it is not tight or unflattering in the right size. It has the perfect amount of stretch. It is perfect, please do not change a thing, hands down my favorite rib ... am 5'3", roughly 17" torso, 34D-36D depending on the bra but typically a 34D, 155-160lbs, usually wear a petite Medium to a petite Large in ... wear a petite Large in this. Often with ... straps are way too long for me and I have to sew them to a shorter length. Not the case with this ... strap length is perfect. The overall length hits about 1/2" above my hip bone, the perfect length for me. I can raise my arms without my belly hanging out, but it isn't so long that it is even close to a tunic length top. I am not into super long ... if you are short and want something to fully cover your butt, Id go with a regular or tall.

Why are these so hard to find? Love them!
I find that these ... like a great white whale. You know they exist, but they're impossible to find! I bought some online a while ago and they're great. They're slightly stretchy, a medium weight material, and they don't stretch out as you wear them. I've been waiting for them to come back online again. I found some at my local store but they weren't on sale and their regular retail price is too high for a ... top. The next time I went, they didn't have any! Anyway, I recommend buying a size up unless you want a very tight, form fitting top. I'm almost always an XS and I buy S in these.

My favorite ... top! I have all the colors and they are perfect for a casual outing, workout or layering! The material is nice and stretchy and the colors are rich. Love!

I luv this ... top! I'm very small for my age so the xs fit me just right. Its super soft and stretchy. It is a bit long but I don't mind! I want this in ALL the colors! :)

Better than old model
I like this ribbed ... better that Gap's previous year's ribbed ... only ones lost their shape after wearing for an hour, and were huge. They were also an ugly guy cut, and shrank in length after washing them just once. THESE however, have just the right amount of stretch added to them, a more feminine cut, and they don't lose their shape at all throughout the day. Have to watch out for that muffin top on these though, as they squeeze the mid section. I wear mine as a layering piece. I am a size 14 and a Large fits me well. The burgundy and dark blue are very nice colors. Also, they wash well and don't shrink, at all. They have a bit of that sheen to them when they are stretched (light tights) because of lycra - which I could do without, but I'm overlooking it.

Finally a ... top that fits a petite woman!

needs a little work
I have been buying these for many years, and I still have many of them. I wear them on their own, but I really like to use them to layer under clothing to hide bra straps. The last couple of years this has become impossible because the straps are so long they bunch under a small strap. The material stretches so the neckline is lower than what I'm already wearing. I love the color selection and white is such a go to basic. Please shorten the straps so I can go back to giving this top 5 stars!

New tank top just not the same
I have loved the Gap tank ... forever. I'd just buy them and know they fit and were great. I did the same thing this year, but the tank top was very different. It seemed to be smaller in the same size I always buy. Exchanged it for the next size up. Still wasn't 'right'. Just wasn't like the Gap tank top. When I went back to the store to return them, the sales clerk told me that to cut costs, they'd moved away from 100% cotton. I'd pay way extra to have the 100% cotton tank top over the blend now available. Just isn't the same. Not the same fit, appearance. I'm now on the hunt for a 100% cotton tank top.

I don't know how Gap could list these ... being Petite - they were as long - if not longer - than any other ... top. I bought them hoping for a shorter ... top. I will be shortening them - no I am not pleased with my purchase.
