Truly the " Perfect trouser"
Since my size in ... vary anywhere from 16-20 depending on style/designer I have hesitated for months to purchase slacks on line. I decided to go into my local Gap store and try on a size 16 (which were tight) to see how true to size the slacks were and to check if the fabric was truly forgiving on someone with hips. To my surprise, the slacks were true to size and the fabric was amazing. I purchased two pair; 1 in grey and 1 in black. I could have ordered a size 18 but do not like my slacks to fit snug so I ordered a size 20 and had my tailor take them in a little. They truly are the "Perfect trouser."

Length of Slacks
I am really impressed with the two pair of slacks that I purchased from The Gap. I am 6'3" tall. And it's really hard for me to find woman's slacks with a 36" inseam. I ordered online 2 pair of slacks one was the trouser style and the other the boot cut. I can't see the different in them but i like them both. The Trouser style fits perfectly. The Boot Cut Style ran long on me, so I am just going to go get them hemmed. Overall the expierence was great. So, if your tall and you need some dress slacks- ... true to the size and length.

Cheap feeling material & too low fit compared to my J.Crew faves
I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to my J.Crew Super 120s slacks which are [$] per pair. I got ... 40% off special, so the price was right, but there was no comparison in terms of the fit and the material of ... J.Crew ones. I prefer a midrise for work ... so that I can tuck flowy silk blouses into my ... wear with colorful belts, and ... were just too low rise for that. The material was thin and to me looked somewhat cheap. Overall, not a bad pair of ... considering the price, but they would have definitely required alterations at the waist to fit well and have that tailored look that J.Crew suiting has off the rack.

Waaaayyyy Toooooo Loooonnnnggggg!
I am 6ft tall and I wear 3-4 inch heels with platforms mostly everyday. I received my navy pinstriped ... yesterday and was excited to try them on. Dissapointment quickly set in as I noticed that even with my highest heel , 4.5 inch platform booties, the bottoms of the ... still dragged along the floor. I am not sending them back because I have not been able to find a pair of navy pinstripe ... years, however, I am taking them to tailor to be hemmed. I am 30-something years old and I have not always had access to tall sizes ---so I am not complaining. This review is for information sharing purposes only. I would much rather have a pair of slacks be too long than too short. Side note---I bought several pairs of BR slacks for this season (Jackson fit tall, lightweight wool and winter weight wool) and the length is perfect! I guess it is hit or miss when it comes to tall sizes. I am just happy that I have choices.

Navy too snug -- too bad -- great color and style
Strongly dislike these slacks. Wish Gap could get all the colors in a uniform fit

Love these slacks
These slacks are true to size. They wash and dry wonderfully! No shrinkage that I can see. I am 5' 8" and have always needed longs. Not in these! The regular was perfect for me with a low to mid heel.

Love the fit!
I am petite at 5'2" and only 106 pounds so finding nice slacks that fit is very hard to do. I got these in the OO short and they fit perfectly with a 3" heel on. They do not stretch all out of shape and are very comfortable. I got the two colors available wish there were more to choose from.

Bought These In the Store
I bought these as an employee about to embark to a full time position at another company. I thought I would have to buy dress slacks and be business casual - false, it's a Seattle start up and jeans are the norm. However after a month and a half of sitting in the bag I finally gave them a try and I think they are so comfortable and don't look too formal. I bought the gray pair and they look great and slim my hips 5'9" size 6, plus they make my butt look tres cute. I thought the modern boots looked the best on the model and when I tried them in on the store. I suggested them to all my customers and it's safe to say that I was right! I would definitely buy these in a few different colors too.

The most flattering & COMFORTABLE trousers EVER!
I love these slacks so much because they are extremely comfortable and flattering, especially for the flat booty. I like that the pockets don't flare out and they are really slimming. The material is silky and doesn't wrinkle easily after hours of sitting at the desk. The inseam is perfect too in that it's right where it should be when you're standing and when you sit it doesn't ride up and wedge uncomfortably...you know what I'm referring too ;o). I recently lost some more weight and instead of altering my current ones (I always buy one in each length - regular and ankle), I bought 2 new pairs in a smaller size. I just wanted to make sure that during those periods of weight gain that I still had a great pair of work slacks. They are a great investment and at such a great price!

Great Work ...
I'm very happy with Gap's line of premium ... navy pair is no exception. I was looking for work slacks in navy and these are a perfect light weight pair. I rely on Gap to make ... flatter my 5' 11'', 180 lb. frame and these look great on my butt, don't sit too high or too low on my waist and the long length works for me in heels. Sometimes it can be a challenge for me to find slacks that aren't too tight on my upper thighs and luckily Gap's line of premium ... working for me on that front as well so far. I ordered a size 12L in these and the fit is very consistent with other size 12 bottoms from Gap. As added info I have found the perfect trouser and curvy ... also be flattering on me.

A wardrobe essential
This is my third pair of these slacks. I now have navy, black and gray. They look great and I feel comfortable but presentable in them. I picked up a little belt to wear with them. That improves the fit around the waist, since they have a little low rise and can be too loose for tucking in a shirt without a belt. Otherwise, they are perfect as is.

Worth the $$
I hardly ever pay full price for anything. I'm cheap to the core. BUT, I bought a pair of GAP Modern Boot ... dark gray in the store about a year ago when they first came out and were on sale. I love them. They're my favorite pair of work slacks. Great cut, and as one reviewer put it, if you have no junk in the trunk, these ... make you look like you do. So many ... without pockets in back give me "old lady-flat butt." Not these! I've been wanting another pair in black and finally decided they were worth the money to just pay full price and buy them online. So glad I did! Wearing them to work today and they are so comfortable. Low rise and a wide ish waist band means they hold in my tummy so I don't have muffin top. I get the long size and they're actually long enough to wear a pair of 3.5 in heels. Most ... barely come to my ankles. Love, love, love these ... didn't give 5 stars because a) I'm cheap and I still think the regular price is too expensive, and b) I think the color could have been just a little more 'black." They're black, but not a super dark black.

Modern Boot ...
These are great slacks! I'm close to 6' tall so I ordered the Xtra long they were actually too long for me! That never happens!!! I don't wear super high heels these days so I'm going to have to hem them up a bit but the over all fit is great. Not to big in the waist, butt fits well, and the pockets don't bulge out at the hips and the fabric drapes very nicely. I'd definitely order again but in the long version instead of Xtra long.

So nice had to buy it TWICE!
I bought these slacks in navy blue months ago. I really liked them. I decided to buy them in black. These slacks compliments my "GIRLISH FIGURE."

GAP PREMIUMS ROCK!
I love my gap premium slacks! I don't buy anything unless it is on sale but these particular ... were recommeded by a good friend so I decided to purchase them because it is hard to find quality slacks for a gal of my size (6'1" with a few curves and a lil muffin top..lol). The only complaint I have is the navy slacks are so dark they almost look black. I would have preferred the navy to be on the lighter side of the spectrum..LOL! But I bought all three colors (black, grey, and navy) and am very happy with my selection!

Nice
I like them but they are a bit close in the hip and thigh area. I guess I was expecting these slacks to fit like other gap slacks. The pant looks professional and are comfortable.
