Everyone mentioned how big these ran. So, I ordered one size smaller than I normall wear and they fit perfect! The waist, the rise, fit very tailored and nice. No bags or gaps. The leg width is a little loose but not baggy at all. So, they give a slimming look but are cool and comfortable. I'm short and they're a little long. But rolling them up is nice because I don't have to get them hemmed. I bought these in the deep, chocolate brown. Because I was so happy, I've now ordered them in white (plus they're on a super sale to boot!). Love the fact you don't need a belt. The big bow is just so cute and helps hide any tummy you may have. FABRIC = Linen + Cotton. They're not thin. You won't see your underpants through them.

Raised the price?
There are enough reviews here to cover the overall sentiment of these ... which are regular favorite of mine. They are decent enough and fit exactly like the picture--and I'm no model. My issue stems from the fact that I bought mine several months ago for about $15 (that was the sale price) and now GAP sends me an email advertising their 60% off Holiday Sale----and these are now more expensive than they were then. It's not the $, I could care less about $7, but it's the principle. Insane and not credible tactics, you guys. Not Happy with Gap and it's sister brands lately (BR you sent me a coat with the security tag on it and I was hours away from going on vacation) Will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Took the other reviewers advice . . .
These ... cute but I took the advice of others and ordered a size down and honestly, I could have probably ordered 2 sizes down for a more tailored look. But I like the loose linen appearance. Also just a FYI I ordered both the gray and the white. I am keeping the gray. I am returning the white because of their front pockets. They are ridiculous and look like extra strips of white linen going down your thighs. This must be why they are on sale.

nice..but...
love the cut of these pants...they seem to be very flattering to a pear shape body... the jury is still out though...i am normally a size 8 in gap jeans and with the boy type cut pant i can do a 6..so that is what i ordered..the 6 in the waist is HUGE and it looks like i am carrying a load in my ... ordered the 4, but i am hoping it is not too tight in the thigh area...if fits, i will feel great about squeezing into a 4.....

Great white ... but a bit too big.
These ... well made, the linen is high quality and fully lined in cotton! I liked the sale price:-) The only problem is that the size is somewhat large. Haven't decided whether to keep them or exchange.

Good fitting pant if order a size larger and has a straight body...
I have not been a fan of Gap fit lately as it's a hit or miss. I saw these ... really like the style but was really hesitant with the mixed review. I then decided to buy it on sale and ordered a size smaller. I was thinking to myself, I can always return it. To my surprise, the size I bought (usually a size 4 and bought a size 2), it fitted exactly as the model and could not be happier. It gave me even a slight curve at my hip even though I have an almost straight body/hip ratio.

Eh
These ... look cute on the model, not flattering, I understand they are a loose fit but they are not cut right to make that look, look good! I expected them to be a higher rise i got a smaller size knowing they ran a little big to fit my waist, they were still too big, so i have to pull them down closer to my hips to fit the waist, the length is more like a pant than the picture shows, should have expected a model would have longer legs and the ... would look shorter. Unhappy with purchase, dont know if I will be able to make these ... work to wear! :(

Itchy and Unflattering
I just sent these ... back yesterday. I was so excited to get them because I just bought the paper bag waist shorts and loved them. These ... were a different story. I have bigger thighs and these fit ok there. The waist was too high and gapped in the back. They poofed weird in the front and made my stomach look very large. The fabric was very thin and itchy. Not a flattering pant for me.

The minute I sat down the ... were sooo itchy. I drove to work and within an hour they had stretched out an entire sze plus and were saggy in the rear. The crotch also hung down halfway to my knees. These will be going back which is a bummer for someone who is always trying to find a fuller cut pant to fit my athletic thighs..

AMAZING!
I wrote a review about the khaki pant JUST LIKE THESE, but I had to write here as well bc I bought BOTH, and I am soooo glad I did. I am 5'9" 142lbs and I bought a size 2 and they are perfect! Long enough to touch the bottom of my wedge heels and great with work attire and casual weekends! I think if you are wondering will these ... like the "normal" long ... stores, that really are never long enough, that is SO not the case. These ... long enough and fit AMAZING!

LOVE these ...
So after seeing all the other bad reviews, I do feel I should admit that I have a straight figure with slim hips, thighs, and butt. I am about 5'7, 140lbs, and wear between a 4-6 in gap ... normally. That being said, I LOVE these wide leg ... never thought I would wear wide legs since I usually like to wear skinny ... show off my legs, but I have been convinced otherwise after trying these on at the store. It made my silhouette look overall leaner and my legs longer! I got the ankle length, which is perfect to wear with flats or a small heel. It looks great with a tucked in blouse or button down shirt--very classy. If you have a straight or slim lower half like me, these are the perfect wide leg pant for you!

Great casual ...
Love these ... look better in a pant that drops straight off the hips, and doesn't taper. These look really nice. I am 5'10 and can easily wear heels with these ... they are too long for flats. The longer lengths in the regulars is a newer trend over the last few years, and it is nice to have the opportunity to hem if needed. I bought the gray in these ... looks really nice. a modern color and great neutral to build outfits around.

Not exactly as expected
I first ordered the baked sand color in 4 regular over a year ago and they were too long, no exception. Thankfully they were returnable to the Gap store so that is where they went. It wasn't until this fall that I considered giving the ... another thought. The Gap store had a pair of similar wide leg ... could try on and I realized I would most definitely need a 4 short. Because Gap online always has a sale I ordered both the ... tried on in store and the baked sand again. I would say they are a perfect fit, no alteration necessary. However, the color still seems to plague me, it is not the tradtional color khaki is considered which makes it a bit odd to match things with. I do really like the ... overall, and did order the pavement color as well. The one advantage these ... have is that there are no buttons on the back pockets, it is quite bothersome to me to have those buttons especially since they break into pieces anyway.

SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE ...
I am 5'9 and about 142lbs and I have always had trouble finding casual ... fit well and are long enough. But these ... AMAZING! They are long enough and hit the bottom of my stacked wedges and they look great with everything. I am far from flat in the rear and I think it defintely fits my curves. If you are looking for ... fit and are NOT high waters, this is DEFINITELY the pant, I even think if you are taller than me you can still purchase these ... GO FOR IT!

I've been looking for a pair of white ... summer and found these today on sale ([$]!). I was between two sizes (my normal Gap size and one size smaller). I went smaller because I thought cotton ... might bag out. Even though I wish they had some stretch, I'm happy that they don't seem to be wrinkling too much with wear, at least not the heavy creases you see near the thighs in some cotton ... They fit really well, I like the tighter top with the graceful wide leg. I do have kind of a straight figure, so these ... might work best on boyish or slim frames.

Yes, a close to perfect pant
For the past several years GAP ... designs/styles have not worked for me. I have had a little luck with the CURVY ... majority of the ... way too big in the waist. Others are too tight in the thigh area. These ... remind me of the Gap ... 10 plus years ago! Big improvement but still needs a little tweeking. Thank you Gap!!

Like these ...
I think these ... true to the description given, but have to agree with the other reviews to order up on the pant size. I am a size 8 in everything I order, and sometimes even a size 6, but I am a 10 in these ... ordered both an 8 and a 10 to see which would fit and the 8 was beyond tight. The 10, however, fits great and I absolutely love the look it gave with a sweater. The ... long for a regular, but I'm 5'8", so I found them perfect!!

Size does matter
I think these would be great ... if they fit. Unfortunetly they didnt fit me. I normally wear a 6 Long and thought that a 6 Regular would be ok with flats for work and representing in the court room. The 6R just didnt work for me and these ... dont come in long. I really wish that the specialty ... seasonal ... came in a longer size as the standard... it is much esier to shorten a pant than to lengthen it.

Ok casual ... dress down days at work...
I bought these ... sale. I definately don't think it's worth full price!! I just wore these ... once and they were not as crisp as they look in the picture. They are more casual khakis than work ... think I'll keep these to wear on Friday dress down days or weekends. Also, I found them to be fairly short!! I'm 5'6" and the "Regular" hem was about a few milimeters short when wearing flats (which means it will be too short after I wash it for the first time, I'm sure!). It'll probably end up being my weekend ... flip flops when the whether gets warm again. Size: I'm about 138 (with post baby belly fat that won't go away) and suprisingly a size 2 fit me snugly (wierd GAP sizing). The waist was tight when I first put it on, but it stretched out as the day went on. Just wish the inseam was longer!

Love then or Hate them???
I am on the fence on these ... always wear a size 2 tall in Gap ... My closet is literally all Gap ... they are the only ones long enough for me so I LOVE gap ... reference I'm 6'-0" tall 130 lbs. These ... very strange. They are so cute on the model and I was excited about a wide leg pant again. These are tight in the seat and the thighs like everyone else is saying. They end up looking more like flare ... 90's. I can't decide if I will keep them or not. I got the pavement and the khaki color. Fabric and colors are nice but the thighs are so tight. I'm banking on them stretching out but that might be wishful thinking. I ordered the 2 tall and 4 tall. Oddly enough the thighs were equally as tight in both sizes. I would have just kept the 4 tall but the waist was huge so that was out. I have a skinny leg khaki coming in the mail so maybe that will be better!!
