These are perfect: BUY multiple colors
The reviews are correct. I'm picky. I hate the styles (which are all over the place!) with side pockets look awful on anyone w/ a women's body. They don't even look right on the models. ANYWAYS, these pants fit perfect, flatter hips, thighs, & butt! I love them. I bought all the colors. They are perfect work trousers. I really hope GAP continues to carry these pants. Fits true to size.

Perfect Work Pants
I am 5'11 and GAP is one of the few places that has decent work pants that are long enough for me. These pants are perfect! I bought them in a long (not tall) and they were perfect. I can still wear a 3.5" heel with it so it is great for work. They make you look slim and they don't wrinkle easily, which is great because I travel for work. Loved the gray ones so much, I went back and bought them in black! Sizing is typical of GAP clothing.

Perfect!
I realized I needed a new pair of black dressy ish pants for conference days. Although I read every review and most responders liked it I was still hesitant about buying them online (I usually need to try on all clothing since I'm 5'/128). It came three days later and was a perfect 6A. I feel taller and slimmer :). I definitely recommend them.

A versitile, pant staple
I am always looking for key pieces to combine in everyday looks and these pants fit the profile. I wear a 6 petite and did not have to do any alteration whatsoever. I have worn them to work and a night out so far. I bought these especially for the wintertime when one's weight fluctuates. The pants fit loosely and flatter my curves like I had initially thought they would. I think the pants would look good on any body type and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a versitile piece of clothing.

Great fit - Bought online
We took a chance on these trousers. Buying clothing online is fraught with peril. But not so with these pants! Thet were a little long, but nothing a hem or a high heel couldn't deal with. And they look spectacular on my wife!

i thought the pant would be great for work . i didnt like the quality of the pant nor the color i know bhlack fade but after one wash the pant are now gray.i will not buy another nothing from gap or br because the quality of the clothing is not the same.

... Long Pants
I bought several pair of Gap pants recently, all in ... Long. They all fit fine, however, the ... Long are re allllly long. I'm 5'9" and I will have to hem them up several inches. That's a good thing because once I do (or my tailor does) they will be just the length I desire. I do wish, however, that Gap would put linings in their women's pants to prolong the life of the garment.

cheap material- expensive price
These seemed wider than in the picture, also the material just felt cheap and shoddy. I don't understand why the quality of everything is soooo much better in the store. I don't know if it is just the TALL items that they make funny or everything on line but I am quickly losing interest in Gap clothing.

wish they fit
I liked the fabric of these pants and I could have used them but they just didn't fit. I often have the same problem with the cut of women's pants. Too short in the front rise and too big in the rump makes an unattractive diaper effect in the rear.

Paging fabric... Paging fabric
I love the silhouette of these pants and I needed a pair of black pants for work the next day so I bought them, but found the fabric to be incredibly thin. You can see through them and they desperately need a lining. I have found a lot of Gap clothes are thin this season and I suspect the rising cost of cotton is cutting into profit margins at most clothing companies. I don't think these will hold up well or last very long. I feel like I have to be careful moving in them or they may rip or tear.

Poor Quality
It?s very sad that Gap has decided to use cheap fabric and manufacturing for their clothing line. This is the third time I have ordered something from Gap and thought I got it from Old Navy or some other mass production clothing line. These pants look like they wouldn?t last through one gently wash cycle before they came apart at the seams. I plan to return the pants immediately and find another store who knows that tall girls want good quality pants too.

I have these in the dark gray and they are my favorite pants. For some reason the black fits differently. It is tighter at the "waist" so I returned them. I had tried a pair on before in black and had the same problem so I think it must be true that clothing varies by color because different people are cutting. Too bad. They really are great pants!

Great pants
This is the sort of classic and basic clothing I wish Gap would return to specializing in, instead of trying to cater to the trendy crowd. These pants are great. Flattering, comfortable, and best of all: washable. They come out of the dryer ready to wear. I also like that Gap seems to have made their ankle length a little longer. It used to be that 'ankle' was too short on me but the medium length was too long and I'd have to buy medium and re hem the pants. The ankle length in these pants was perfect - no hemming required.

Great cut, thin fabric
I am one frustrated consumer in this economy. Has anyone noticed prices are the same or higher but quality seems to have taken a nosedive? I have purchased from BR, Old Navy, Gap and many other apparel stores this past year for my family and finding the same issue everywhere. I bought these pants a few years ago, loved the cut, and the fabric was great. This year I ordered two more pair and the fabric is much thinner. I really hope clothing manufacturers are hearing this. I know everything is made outside the USA, but please keep the quality of your brand.

too big overall
Very nice quality fabric but otherwise about two sizes too large and about 5 inches too long. Definitely not the petite 00 fit I typically get with GAP clothing overall.

I REALLY wanted to love them
Sadly somethings are just destined to be returned. The fabric really leaves nothing to the imagination, which would be great if you have a near perfect body. I recently had a child and although I have lost most all the weight, I have this little (very little) pouch to my lower stomach. To this point clothing covers it perfectly. Unfortunately these pants enhance the fact that it's there. The pants look great around the butt especially if you are like me and don't have much of one. In conclusion, buy these if you have nothing to hide weight wise. Also... if your bum has a lot of cellulite, I would caution you in purchasing. The fabric is thin and clingy.

This should be called the PERFECT PANT!
I was amazed when I tried these on. They are the most flattering bottom I have ever had the pleasure of wearing! I wish I could find a pair of jeans in this fit! I love the straight fit because its a very slimming look. It elongates your silhouette by having a straight line from your hip to the floor. It, however accentuates the curves you want to be accentuated; namely your booty! The fabric is thick and forgiving - awesome cover up any of those unsightly bulges that tend to come out in a lightweight wool fabrication. The pockets do NOT bow out! there are no side pockets; only very tailored back pockets and one front pocket. This is awesome as it helps to further slim down those hips! Another thing about the fabric is that it's super stretchy. so to find the perfect size is not hard at all!. One thing I have struggled with in the past with gap bottoms has been their rise. It's usually too long for me, but these are perfect! They are low rise and hit in just the right spot! Not too long to make your booty look flat like a lot of pants do. In terms of the other posts about them being too long, i heard that gap went to a longer inseam as they were getting feedback that their pants were too short. I'm 5'10 and bought the 6L and they are absolutely perfect for wearing heals! I think if your want to wear flats, you would probably need to go down a length than you normally do, but I like this better it's always easier to tailor a pant to be shorter than it is to get a longer pant. Also, they are cotton spandex so the extra length allows for some shrinkage if you want to wash and wear. I have always had this problem with pants as they are never long enough to allow for shrinkage, but these do! My advice: buy them, you'll love them! If you think they are too long, wash them once and see how they shrink. If they are still too long, have them tailored. IT"S worth it no doubt. These are the perfect pants by far! I am going to get them in every color they come out! I have not been this excited about a piece of clothing in my life!

Should have bought more
You know how you find that perfect item of clothing, you wear it til it's dead, then you wish you had bought like 10 of them? That's these pants. I have them in gray and black and they are the only "work pants" I don't strip out of as soon as I come home. They are that comfortable. And actually that good looking too. I am 5'3" and the ankle length are perfect. I have only had them for a short time though so I hope they hold up over several washings, etc. (My other favorite pants from Gap are the curvy jeans, if that gives some perspective on where I am coming from.)

Comfortable
My only complaint is why the fake pockets? Can't women's pants have pockets? That is very annoying.

Most Horrible Pants Ever. Ever.
If I could give these zero stars, I would. A few months ago I tried on and purchased two pairs of the black True Straight Premium pants in a size 6, my regular Gap size for several years and countless pants and jeans. I have never been more unhappy with a Gap purchase in my life. They stretch out horribly and within hours. The amount of washing (by the care instructions provided) has caused them to fade into a black ish color. They are so baggy that my boyfriend thought I was wearing sweats one day. To top all that off, I sat down at work mid afternoon to find a hole on the inside seam near the top. I work in customer service and deal with customers face to-face on a veryregular basis. Luckily I was able to leave work and change.This was the single most mortifying clothing mishap I have experienced in my professional career. I do not feel well dressed in this item, which[...] I have more recently purchased the Modern Boot pants and I love them. Where was the quality control when the True Straight was designed and tested? This item has serious design flaws and poor fabric quality and appalling construction. I would encourage Gap to remove the item and rethink these aspects. The fit and style is what attracted me to this item, but now I dread these pants and even looking at them in my closet sends me into a panic. I plan on taking them back, but doubt I will be able to.

shrinks
When I purchased the pants they were long but fit everywhere else. I got them hemmed, and threw them in the wash and dryer with the rest of my clothing. They came out looking like they would fit a child. I understand a little shrink and stretch. But there are so small that I can only conclude that they were not pre shrunk. If you love them I would either order up or wash immediately after purchasing them. Personally, I would rather pay a little more money for clothes that remain the same size.

My go to pant
I bought a pair of these last year and I wore them so much that I had to buy another pair this year. This pants are so chic and I LOVE THEM. These are my favorite article of clothing in my closet. My only negative comment would be to carefully wash them because they shrink easily. Other than that you will not go wrong with this product.

One flaw
Overall, these pants have a nice fit, with one design flaw. First, the good. They're slim like a legging, but have the real structure of pants. They go best with a longer shirt or tunic. The sizing is consistent with Gap clothing. I bought the 2P, which fit just right. I feel totally comfortable wearing them to the office or dressing them down on a weekend for a casual outfit. They do tend to get a little loose as the day goes on, but that's not the real deal breaker. Here is the main drawback: the crotch has a major design flaw where the fabric folds in the most unflattering way. How should I put this? Think of a hump backed desert animal. Now think of it's foot. Yes. Watch out, because even if you are wearing chastity grade underwear, these pants will make you look like you left the house forgetting something. To get around this, I've taken to wearing these pants with longer shirts and standing with my legs crossed. Most times it's not too noticeable because the pants are so dark. Consider this a fair warning. I wish I would have noticed this in the dressing room.

NOT COLORFAST
As usual I am disappointed in the quality of GAP clothing. I purchased the Real Skinny and Slim Crop pants and the first time I washed them both the black color ran. There are now weird white/grey spots all over my pants from where the dye ran. I will stick with the J. Crew Minnie pants!

THESE ARE THE BEST SHIRTS!!!!!!
I can't believe I only bought 4. I am on my way to Gap to buy one in each color and a few white ones. They are lightweight, perfect fit and just stretchy enough. I have long arms and the sleeve length is more than perfect. I also love the length of the shirt itself--perfect in every way. I will be wearing one of these every day this winter. Great as a cozy, body hugging, under shirt or wear it alone with jeans. Very versatile! I consider myself to be a picky person when it comes to the "fit" of clothing and all I can say is thank goodness someone finally got it right!!!! You need to buy one of each color!

Perfect for every occasion
I love this shirt. The material is so soft, and it's light enough to be worn on a spring or summer day but heavy enough to keep you warm in the winter or autumn when worn with a jacket or sweater. I wear them often, so I bought several of each color (black and white). They can really be used for anything - a trip to the grocery store or layered with a dress or jacket in the evening. If you're looking for a simple tee that be accentuated with jewelry and jackets and other clothing items, this is it. Although the white is slightly see through, you can wear a tank underneath, but I mostly use them for layering anyways. It's the perfect combination of comfort, casual, and versatility that makes this shirt a staple for your closet. I also recommend the short sleeve version.

Great shirts, but two issues!
I LOVE gap body shirts, short and long sleeve. They are very tight fitting, flattering, and work well under everything! There are two major issues though, and the first is an overall gap issue with the quality of the clothing (which has gone way down in the past few yrs). Number one issue: All of my tops have holes by where my pants close (rub against the button, and shirt tears), and some have at the bottom of the sleeves (which are a bit long). I have only had these shirts for a short time, and have not washed them many times either. The other issue, not such a big deal, is that there are two few color options. I wish there was a true brown, or a short sleeve creme. The holes = unacceptable. The color options = not the best, but oh well!

Love Pure Body
I absolutely love Pure Body clothing. The feel is luxurious and wears so well. I purchase petite fitted clothing and I am always happy with the styles.

My Favorite Soft T - Ever
My local Gap phased out "Gap Body" and my heart sank. When I discovered that I could find many of the items I loved online in "Pure Body," I was thrilled. I wear one of these every day, either to work out, run around, layer in cold weather or sleep (because they are so soft). Please be aware that my review comments on fit are only relative to my working out the sizing issue noted by other reviewers. This is one really snug fitting T. The women's regular sizes run snug in body/arm, with longer than normal overall length and sleeve length. I order one size larger than true size. For a petite girl, with broad shoulders, large bust and fuller arms, I'd recommend going to women's regular size or order up even two sizes in petite. I order it in all colors and am very pleased; however, the lighter colors might be too transparent for some people to wear alone. These wash/dry well, even if they make the unexpected slide into the hot water wash. I try to baby mine in Woolite, though. These are the best value for money, especially when Gap runs a "two for" sale. The best thing: this T shirt does slenderize. I think the snug fit and longer length are why. This Stella definitely feels her groove when she's wearing one!

Great shirt!
I ordered it to replace my other layering shirts. It's soft, great stretch, and a great, durable material! I ordered a LONG because I'm a little taller with longer arms and it hits perfectly below my wrists and it's long enough to be seen under other clothing. It would be great to wear by itself too!

love this sleek versatile shirt
This shirt is my most useful item of clothing. I own 6 of them and wear them alone or layered. The fabric is soft and the shirt washes well. GAP, PLEASE MAKE THIS IN A V NECK!!!

LOVE IT!
The Pure Body Long Sleeved T is perfect for any clothing situation. The shirt has a body hugging fit, so it pairs well with jeans, as an undershirt with a suit, or even for working out. (I have worn the pure body long sleeved T in all the above mentioned scenarios!) The fabric is a silky/ cotton texture that feels great against your skin. In addition to the texture, the fabric is light weight which is ideal for layering. And the shirt has stretch... what more could a woman ask for! Bottom line, you can't go wrong with the PURE BODY LONG- SLEEVED T.

good for layering...
it's tighter than other layering tops, which is nice, think that's the bit of spandex. Overall, I like how soft it is, I got this in pink and baby blue, and I use it mostly for work, for layering under scrub tops. Also great for layering under too short t's that I still want to wear but no longer want to show a little belly. Thank god long lengths are back in. Tired of looking at other women's muffin tops.

Love this shirt
I absolutely love this shirt. I work outside and was sick of the hideous thermal underwear, so I wear this shirt under a heavier shirt and absolutely love it. I wear a every work day and I work five days a week. This brings me to my next point, I am a little skeptical over all about the quality of clothing. I purchased a batch of shirts in October 2010 while tucking one, the act of tucking put a hole in one and another developed a hole near the wrist. Please remember that I do wear one every day so my shirts may get more wear and tear on the other hand clothing quality is still an issue with these shirts and other clothing purchased from the gap of late. Nevertheless, i only buy them when they go on sale and I buy at least 10 at a time.... I just ordered some more last week.Hope this helps!!!!

Great Layering Piece
I bought this shirt to wear as a layering piece under sweaters for when the weather gets cold. I really like the earthy coloros and also ordered my basic white and black after I got these. I am 5'1" 115 lbs. - muscular build. I wear an XS in Gap clothing but was concerned about the tightness on my arms. The XS was definitely a tight fit as I expected. I ordered a S in one of the shirts because there wasn't an XS. The S was a little less tight but, of course, then was bigger on the shoulders and, of course, the arms are always way too long for me (I usually end of just cutting the sleeves and letting them curl up a little at the ends whic also looks cute). There's no way around the tightness to this shirt - but that's what I like about it. If you want a tight clingy shirt - you've found a great one. If you don't want to show every bulge and bump, do not get this shirt unless you are intending to wear it under something.

Great shirt
This tee is perfect. The fabric is a great weight (not too thin), and the sleeve length is just long enough to be flattering. The shirt is very versatile--I can wear it alone or layered with a skirt, jeans, or trousers. As far as the sizing goes, I generally wear a medium in junior sizes or a small in women's sizes. I ordered a medium, and it fits great (not too snug and not too loose).

My favorite store
I love the GAP!! It is by far my favorite clothing store. In fact, I would say I buy 90 per cent of my clothing there. GAP Clothes always fit and always look classy. Recently I took three of my grandchildren shopping at Baby Gap. They were thrilled to find wonderful skirts and shirts and pants! People are always commenting on how nice my clothes are. You can be sure I tell them where they come from. I am a HUGE FAN of the wonderful GAP stores, where the salespeople are always cheery, polite and attentive. And I have recently discovered the pure joy of shopping on the GAP website!!! I was so excited to find that I could buy a couple of my favorite shirts ONLINE in Navy Blue -- the crew neck Tee and the boatneck Tee. Thank you, GAP. You are wonderful!!!

Love this T shirt!
I have been buying the Gap favorite crewneck T shirts for the last 3 years and I keep coming back for more. I wear them to work under my scrubs and also out with jeans. They can be dressed up or down, they are very versatile. I am a Gap size XS in all clothing, however, for comfort I get these in a size Small (more for length in the body on me). I love how soft the material is. They wash and wear really well. I have no complaints about these T shirts!

Perfect Fit
The name of this T is right... it's my "Favorite crewneck T" for sure. I love how the sleeves are a little longer than most women's tees right now and the neckline gives me good coverage even when my baby pulls the collar down. Good quality and the material is just the right weight, not so light to be see through and not so heavy it's hot. I have at least one in every color.

Over priced
Go to Old Navy and get the Women's Perfect Fit Tees. I bought one of those and this one, they are exactly the same (material, feel, etc. . .) except Old Navy was way cheaper. Gap is starting to use thin, cheap material. Might as well get Old Navy if that is the case.

What in the Gap is going on here??
This has been a go to staple in my wardrobe for years and years and I know others have spoken up to the poor quality and change of construction of this shirt and they speak the TRUTH. Why isn't GAP listening. Depending on which color you get, you get a different fit as well as softness. The fabric is very see through and thin and pills very easily. What used to be a shirt I would have for years and wash well and maintain it's shape and fit is now barely a seasonal shirt which as you wear it, gets "blousy" and stretches out all over. Very frustrating when you put on one color and it's soft and yet in the same order all the other colors are completely different and scratchy. When are colors going to be expanded? When are you going to bring back a true dark charcoal grey color? The grey posted is lighter than shown and has notoriously stretched out of shape within 3 wears and I'm very gentle with my clothing. It's rather embarassing when others ask me where I got my shirt as it's followed by a derogatory comment like "it's falling apart, or it looks funny and is pilling" or "hi, i like the bra you are wearing today, I can see it through the shirt"...instead of the usual compliments years ago that I would get of "I love that color, where'd you get it", "Love that fabric, where'd you get it" or "That shirt fits really nicely, where'd you get it, I want one". Now I have to answer instead of "Where'd you get it?" with enuthusiasm, it's now like a sad admission of "I got it at the Gap" to which everyone replies, "OMG, you're kidding me, They used to have such nice stuff, what happened?" So yeah, Dear Gap, I am breaking up with you until you can re evaluate our relationship and pull your weight. Until then, I will be looking elsewhere. Signed, Your Ex Customer

Style and quality disappointing
I don't understand why T shirts have morphed into flimsy, body hugging, butt covering unflattering pieces of clothing that only an exhibitionist would wear without a second layer. If this is an attempt at fashion, it must be aimed at very skinny teens. I really miss Gap's original T shirts: quality cotton that washed well, kept its shape and wasn't transparent (if white), comfortably loose but not baggy.

What''s happening here???
Really disappointed in Gap right now. I know it's hit or miss in the quality of fabric with the more trendy items, but I expected more from classic "favorite" tees. This year they're just too thin- no shape at all! Please fix this. I do not want to try and find a new store for my familys clothing needs.
