the "new" v necks
absolutely love these shirts from GAP. the v neck is perfect. doesn't show too much skin, but enough to give it the edge you need to go along with a pair of jeans and some nice shoes (clarks, oxford, lace ups or even sneakers).

most perfect ... shirt I''ve ever worn!!
I have gone through a lot of ... shirts brands to find the right one and about 2 years ago I found it in the Gap V Neck ... shirt. I don't wear anything else ... shirt-wise!!! I own about 40 of these v necks and continue to buy them!!!!!

This shirt has a very nice weight to it. I love the v neck. It was perfect for the recipient who has a thick neck. So happy I bought more.

Finally! The perfect V neck Tee
I never write reviews for clothing. In fact, this is my first one because these shirts are perfect. Before buying these, I had bought a LOT of different v necks from different stores, and I was still searching for a great tee. I wanted a nice fit. I am tall, so some mediums would be too short, but large would be too wide. These fit me pefectly. I also didn't want too deep of a v neck. Many others I've tried are too deep. Also, some that I've tried the neck is too wide. These, again, are perfect. Lastly, many that I've tried, the fabric is too thin, and they don't hold up well after washing. These are great. I will be buying every color!

Retains its soft texture still after 10+ washes
What I like MOST is after many washes it does NOT get a gritty or linty texture on the cotton. The softness is retained. I loved it so much I went back to the same store and purchased 18 more shirts, totaling 25 v neck shirts all together. So many colors to choose from too.

SO soft and comfortable
I bought multiples of different colors of these shirts. They are so awesome, soft, and comfortable. After washing they shrink just a bit to the "right size". The V neck is perfectly styled, not too low. I wish I could get some bed sheets made out of this fabric.

The new v neck T
I got these for home work and for casual wear going out and about the city running errands. The fit is pretty solid in the torso aside from the waist. For fitter men such as myself, it may not be slim fitting. Granted, the ... shirt does not claim to be a slim fit V neck. The collar is durable and shows the right amount of neck. I got it in white, black, and grey.

Works for just "tall" guys after a wash
My boyfriend is very lean and tall. His torso is quite long, which makes it difficult to buy clothes that fit him length wise and aren't too wide. I ordered his regular size, M, and it fit a little loosely on him (I didn't pay attention to it being not only "tall" but a "BIG and tall" fit), but he could get away with it being an everyday shirt. But after washing it, it shrinks to a more fitted, nicer fit. The material also feels much softer. So I recommend tall, lean guys to try it out and judge it after washing. I say the same thing for the big and tall V neck.

Tighter than I hoped for
I couldn't pass up these shirts when I saw them on sale. With the additional discount I received, the shirts came out to [$]each, a superb deal. The shipping was free (always a bonus) and quick, less than 4 days. I opened the package and two of colors were not what I expected and didn't match the web page but I decided to keep them. The fit is a little snug but I'll wear them uder other shirts so no real big deal. Overall, good ...

its all fine...except the shipping.
I ordered 5 shirts. I received 4. one ... optic white they didn't have in stock, although I did get one of them because I ordered two. 7-9 days for shipping was about 9-13 days. And shirts are a different fit then the last set of essentials I bought. I still like them. but not as much as the previous ones. Gap feels like they change their patterns too often. I wanted some plain shirts that fit well. I found them. then when I came back. I found something that will work. I thought they had these shirts locked down for me. but I suppose I need to start searching again.

Best ... neck ... ever!
Great ... have when you have a short neck and broad shoulders. The ... neck is not at all too low but just right. Happy I purchased several of these. Will have to buy more.

American Apparel eat your heart out!
I just bought 7 of these badboys to replace my American Apparel v neck collection! I am 6 foot 1 and weigh 165lbs. In AA, i was wearing a size XL because their Large size was too tight and too short. Now that gap has this "deep" version- even though its only like a regular v neck version of the AA shirts, it comes in Large Tall; which is the PERFECT size/fit!! I am glad these aren't as deep as the AA's Deep version... Because those are just over the deep end.

Excellent Fit.
I am a 6'5" tall man with a 42" athletic chest. I prefer the fitted ... style and these are the prefect deep v neck ... shirts for me. The Large Tall fits me like I was measured at the tailor. The fabric is not as thick as the Old Navy v neck ... shirts. If you like a loose fit you could order one or two sizes higher than your usual. I love these and they will forever be my number 1 destination for deep v neck ...

EVERY COLOR!
I'm post partum, so regular women's shirts are not working & just fit irregular, I bought this ... every color! They fit super! I bought all ... size XL, i'm a full chest size 46", these shirts are perfect ... & arm length, more colors Gap?! lol

I LOVE THESE SHIRTS! They are a big improvement over old Gap v neck T's. They fit like a glove and they fit my real size, instead of me having to size up like I used to do.

Black ... neck tee
My boyfriend loved it. He likes the weight of this tee, and the ... neck. It's well made and now a favorite tee ... my boyfriends closet.

Perfect tshirt ever....
I LOVE THE DEEP V TSHIRT.... thank you very much!! Standard t's were always too high at the neck, and then after a few washings got all stretched out. Deep v necks don't after a year! Standard t's sleeve length always too long had to be rolled up. Deep v neck is correct length to keep from puddling in the inside elbow. And they are just generally cooler and more breathable to wear, either just under an apron in the commercial kitchen or under a sweater or microfiber garment..Exactly what this warm blooded guy has been searching for. FOUND IT!! They actually feel rather sensous when worn.

v neck too deep
I felt the v neck was too deep to wear out. It's more feminine looking than I expected it to be. They are nice but I'll stick to the regular ...

Great value and style!
I really like the style of the deep ... there are several colors. The last one I got disappointed me since the color faded too quickly and it became unstitched in the collar area. I don't know if I really like the fact that my new ... have colors that may rub off according to the label. The color of one ... actually rubbed off onto a bag I was using. I hope that this time around the ... last longer.

Not American Apparel deep, but it''ll do.
I like the fit and feel of this ... My only complaint is the depth of the V neck. I was hoping that this ... would truly have a deep V neck, but it does not. Don't get me wrong, it is deeper than the standard V neck, but not really what I was looking for. However, the fit and feel of the ... typical of the quality I expect from Gap, and that is a good thing. :-)

unDeep V
This ... not the "Deep" V I was expecting. I own several V necks and several deep V necks from different brands, and this is definitely a regular V neck. It's not that deep. I like to wear Deep V's under button downs and leave the collar and top button undone so that you still can't see the undershirt... this V neck will not allow for that. I am disappointed that this is not a true deep V.
