Fantastic for playing!
I have bought these pants 3 seasons in a row for my son. He loves them, they wash well and are perfect play pants for fall, winter or spring. (especially in the South) These are meant to be loose, but are especially easy for a toddler to pull up & down during potty training.

Cute Lightweight pants
These are perfect lightweight pants for that weather in between sweat pants and shorts. They are similar in weight to girls' leggings or yoga pants - but they have a ... sweatpant type fit. They have a VERY CUTE Gap logo label on the back of the waistband. They are a little longer than other (cheaper) brands, but run true to Gap Toddler sizing. Perfect for daycare or casual days. They have solved a problem for us!

LOVE THESE PANTS!
I buy these pants now every year. This year I got all three colors (navy, grey, and black). They are SO soft and look nice with so many things and are easy to play in. I will continue to buy these until my son gets too big for GAP toddler sizes. Only problem, they are VERY hard to get on sale.

Picky pants loves these
My 4 year old boy won't wear anything other than his "soft pants". He even wants to wear them to bed. And I have to roll up the legs so he can wear them for shorts in hot weather. I wish the tie in the front was an actual drawstring, but I can tie a bow to make the ... little snugger. Thank you for these ... Gap, I don't know what I'd do without them. I wish they came in a few additional colors. How about red or orange or green?

Best toddler pants!
These are absolutely THE BEST toddler pants out there. I have bought these pants for my son every year, at least two pairs of the grey and blue. They are great to lounge around the house in or to wear to preschool (will be perfect this year as he's potty trained and hates to deal with snaps and zippers). Hold up great after many washings with no shrinkage or noticeable wear. I even search these out in the Outlet stores in the summer to stock up for the next year.

Soft, comfy pants for an active toddler
I love the jersey knits at GapBaby and Kids! These pants are well made and very soft. Perfect for a growing toddler, as you can fold the waist down and tie the waist string if they're a little big. We purchased these pants in 3 colors.

Great fall and winter staple
I have purchased these pants for my son since he was a baby. Great for daytime play: comfortable and lightweight. Sadly, we bought 5T this year which is the biggest size. Next year we will have to try out something else in the Big Boy sizes, but I have faith that Gap will pull through!!

Comfort and Ease Rule
Love these pants. The 18-24 month size fit my slim 21 month old perfectly. I guess the people complaining that the waist is too big must have really skinny kids....These pants are cute and more importantly comfortable! I hate putting my little boy in jeans - why should he wear such heavy, motion limiting clothing at such a young age? These sweats are light weight and great for warmer weather....

soft - black has thinner waist
These knit pants are staple of our toddler wardrobe. Love that they are easy on my son's skin (he has eczema, so its a big issue), and easy to play in. Wash well, get softer with each pass... nice true black. We've bought several rounds of these in the past, and were pleasantly surprise that the black ones seem thinner in the waist than the greys we've bought in the past year, so they stay on well, even on a skinny guy. A little long for him still, but we roll the waist. Not the most durable pants, but we get a good 6 months out of each one for daily play/sleep/whatever, and they keep him cool and don't scratch his skin. Win!

Comfy staple for active ...
We've purchased these in pretty much every color, every year since my son was 2. He is now 5 and yes, I have seen the quality go down some. The most annoying thing is the waist line is VERY inconsistent. Some are huge and never fit, others are perfect. A functional drawstring or some adjustable feature would be great. However, they are still extremely comfortable and the go to-pants for my son when he comes home from school and wants some comfy play ... We live in Southern California so we find the weight perfect year round. We also love that these are cotton so they breathe and wash easily. They are simple, streamlined and not bulky like sweats, which I love as well. I'm sad they don't make them in the "big boy" sizes and will miss them!!

went with the larger size
My son is 2, but very large overall for his age (95%+ percentile for both height & weight). I originally bought the size 2 based on other reviewers comments, but when I saw the size details (weight, length), I decided to go up to the 3. I probably should have kept the 2, but I didn't want him growing out of the pants in a month. I thought there was an actual drawstring on the pants/shorts, but it's just decorative. I'm going to hold onto the pants for now, but probably will only use them around the house for now. We've only had them a week, so I can't comment on their durability. However, in our experience, most Gap brand clothes do withstand toddler abuse - I expect these to do the same.
