Not impressed
I love wearing plain white tees as casual everyday wear. I found this tee way too see through----even from a distance. I definitely will ... wear another white layering piece underneath it. Also, I am 5'10" and normally wear talls, but this was a little too ... size, so it bunches up above ... hips. When it comes to basic white tees, I will go somewhere else.

Keep up the good work
I am 5'9" ... need a ... size. These shirts fit great everywhere, especially in arm length and body length. It is great to have the ... order from. The ... shirts I purchased held up wash after wash with no shrinking, I dried them on low. The weight of the fabric is wonderful. Thank goodness ... continues to sell great quality goods. I used to order ... shirts from Eddie Bauer but their quality has gone down hill so much. I want a ... shirt with some body to it like these, I don't mind paying for quality merchandise and get what I pay for.

Not quite right....for me.
I purchased these in the gray color, as a substitute for my pricey designer tees. Unfortunately, they were not quite right. The sleeve is more of a cap sleeve than a short sleeve. I purchased the ... version of this, and no adjustment seems to have been made in the sleeve length for a ... body type. They are extra long, especially in the talls, which didn't bother me, but something to keep in mind if you are petite or average height. The fabric and construction quality are good, but the fabric is more of that 'squooshy,' limp type of cotton, and I prefer a 'dry,' slightly stiffer cotton. All in all, a good value, just not for me.

Great basic ... shirt!
I am almost 6 foot ... ordered the ... medium. It fits absolutely perfect. Plus the white is very opaque so I don't have to worry about being able to see my bra through it. I will definitely be buying more of these ... shirts.

Aptly named
I've been buying these for years.Great fit, hold there shape even the ... tee v neck is not too low.The cotton is not light but not sheer. I can't say enough about these shirts. I use long and short sleeve,v neck crew and scoop. Great shirt at great prices. LOve the fact I can get it in ... also

Finally a good white ...
It is very hard to find any ... shirts that are not tissue weight. I prefer not to layer my T's in warmer weather, and so have been on the hunt for a white ... not see through. This shirt is wonderful. The weight of the fabric is just right. I love the fit and the length is really nice in the ... Please ... make this available in more colors! ... get sick of wearing the same 5 drab colors every day!

Love ... T's. I like the ... well, cuz I'm ... Comes down around my hips and is great for working out. Pick the regular size for jeans and day wear.

The Perfect ...
I love this ... shirt - the v neck style is great and looks really flattering. I have now found the Perfect ... . The fabric is soft and extremely comfortable to wear. I ordered the XL ... am 180cm ... Size 16. The length is great and the fit is excellent. Can't wait to order more!

Love the length!
Being a ... woman (6'1) I love the fact that ... offers pants and shirts in ... lengths. They are a litltle more money than other stores but I am willing to pay a little more knowing I will have them for years to come. The quality is great and the fit is flattering on me. These are great basics. I layer all year round so these are great pieces to layer or wear alone. The sales are great too!

LENGTH! YEAH!
I can consistently look to ... truly have shirts long enough. A lot of other retailers claim to sell clothing for ... woman, but it's only an inch or two of extra material- Gaps ... shirts are TRULY ... STAY THAT WAY PLEASE!

Love/Hate relationship
I love this shirt. I have it in three different colors and it is very flattering. However, I hate that every time I have ordered it, it had gotten longer. I need the ... size so I've ordered the ... size every time, but the hem is longer each time. I've noticed that each time I've ordered a ... last 6 months.

Too long, and to transparent
Bought this in white, in a small ... (5'10, 130 lbs). The sleeve length was perfect but the shirt was way too long, even for a ... girl. Regular length might have been alright. Despite what other reviewers wrote, while the material was thicker than a lot of tees, you could see right through the material and I didn't want to have to layer it. Returned to store and bought a similar top in a much nicer material at Banana Republic.

Just what I wanted
I had been looking for a reasonably priced 100% cotton ... like this and available in this color for a while. The material is a good thickness, not sheer or flimsy. many companies are making clothes w/some kind of tissue paper thin cotton/poly blend and I don't like themThis is the perfect lentgth for me as are the sleeves. they were available in ... sizes since for some unknown reason many companies have been making their shirts too short and if long sleeved, sleeves are too short too.And I'm technically petite at 5'2. But I need to order ... sizes for the above mentioned reason s.

I purchased the ... version of this ... absolutely love it. I am 5' 9" and always have trouble getting casual shirts that are long enough. This one is perfect - I have washed it several times and it is still nice and long. ... we just need this in more colors!

Finally! A white ... can''t see through!
I ordered this top in a large ... am in love! For a simple white ... neckline is beautiful and truly highlights a larger bust without showing too much. I've also struggled with see through white shirts and am happy to report that this fabric is a wonderfully comfortable knit that is not at all sheer. With buying it in ... does run a little long but that's what I wanted. My shirts always shrink in length before anything else, so it's nice to know that I won't have to worry about that when I toss this in the dryer. I loved this ... so much that I also just ordered it in navy.

It's so nice to see some of my ... favorites available in talls! Kudos to them, ... all over the world say "Thank you!!' The fit is great, it's a perfect layering ... wear it along for a casual look. The scoop neck makes it a little more feminine than a crew.

perfect ...
I love scoop neck ... shirts and these are by far the best I've found. I'm 5' 8" and bought the ... after trying the regular size and discovering it was a tad too short. The ... perfect. My only gripe is that I wish they offered it in more colors. I have all 5 that they offer but would love to see some spring colors. Fingers crossed!

Nice Tee
Love the tee! It's comfortable and lengthy enough for talls like me! I ordered the ... which is true to size. I will wear it with capris and jeans. The charcoal grey is a nice shade. It looks exactly like the picture with the model. I may order more in other colors.

Perfect Ts
For a long time, I couldn't wear ... clothing; it was just too young. Then I discovered that online, you could buy ... These shirts are perfect. I wear a Medium ... (I'm 5'9"). I can tuck these in and they stay all day. The scoop is flatteringly low. And the lightweight fabric isn't stifling on a hot day. The fabric is also perfect under a jacket, as it is so thin there is no bunching. I know others complain about the "flimsiness" of the fabric, but I think it's wonderful!

I love every thing about these T's. The fabric is soft and holds its shape beautifully. The cap sleeves and scoopneck are very flattering. I am 5' 9" the length of the ... size is perfect for me. Wish it came in other colors.

Perfect ...
These T's are nice and long. I usually get ... small, but that was a bit too loose, so I got regular xs and the length was still great. It is fitted, but not at all tight. Got one in almost every color. The neckline is very feminine and pretty (not too low cut), great casual with jeans and also pretty enough to wear with a skirt. Definitely my favorite ... ever.

Great for layering
About a year ago I purchased a long sleeved favorite ... extra large. It seemed ok til I washed and dried it. Came out of the dryer a lot shorter and wider. I'd purchased it mainly for layering, but it was too bulky after I'd washed it. The sleeves got shorter too. So this time I ordered a size smaller (large) in Tall. After washing, the sleeves are still long enough and the body is still long enough to tuck in if I wish. I should say...I'm only 5' 4" tall, but I do have wide shoulders and maybe my arms are kinda long - but honestly, I don't think I'm all that disproportionate. All in all, a size smaller in Tall is great.

Finally a shirt that doesn't show my belly after one wash. I am 5'8"- not especially ... but i ordered the ... shirt just so I stay covered. It is better than expected and has stayed long even after three washes.

To a ...
I always purchased the large/tall size, but it appears they have resized things as I now need a medium/tall, so beware when ordering that they are REALLY long sleeves and length now when ordering tall. The perfect ... surely as close to it as any others I've tried. The fabric is yummy soft and the v neck flatters a larger bust. The overall fit is great for a smaller waist, too. Great shirt!

Love love love favorite tees
I love the Favorite long sleeve and short sleeve tees. I get them in ... GAP is one of the only places where I can get ... clothes and know that they'll fit. I keep them out of the dryer still, but I love that my belly button doesn't show all the time in these shirts. Go Gap!

A M A Z I N G FIT!!!
Other than love - I am not sure how to describe how I feel about this shirt and it's fit. This is the FIRST, yes first long sleeved tshirt that I have gotten that fit beautifully before and after washing it. The arms stayed long, the quality is fantastic, and did I mention that the arms stayed long? All of my shirts shrink in the wash to a lovely 3/4 sleeve, but this one stayed perfectly long a little below my wrist. I am 6' tall and so finding pants and long sleeved shirts long enough is so hard. Well ... ladies, look no further and buy this shirt, you will be so glad that you did! I sure am!!!

Good, not great
Thank you for providing more options for taller ... However, these shirts were a little big. I bought 3 of these at the same time as I bought 3 crew neck t shirts (all in size M tall). I'm 6' and 155 lbs so the t shirts were perfect in size but these long sleeved ones were a bit baggy. I'm going to keep them because I'm sure they will shrink in the wash. Plus, I'm a little worried that the S tall will be too small! My only other complaint is that I wish Gap would provide more colors and items for tall ... please provide them in the stores! ... wear petite and regular sizes get to go to their local Gap store and buy off the rack; tall ... only get to buy things online (with the exception of some pants). SIGH!

Great staple!
Love these shirts! Had ordered my regular size - XL ... too big, but kept it for lounging on the weekends. I then ordered 3 colors in L ... which are a great fit!

Great cut but use better material
I'm really grateful to Gap for the proportions of their ... favorite ... shirts. I'm ... slender, and it's wonderful to have a ... shirt with sleeves long enough to truly reach the palms of my hands. But even though the material is better than the comparable Gap ... shirt from last year (which pilled immediately), the material is still not as excellent a quality cotton and weave of J Crew. Please, Gap, keep the design, but really think about the material.

I love long sleeves that are long
I love that I am able to order gap shirts in tall, because sleeves are always short on me. Now that the style is having shirts longer, that's not as much of a problem anymore. However, I wonder, will gap ever introduce size xs in tall? Tall seems to be just a bit too big for me, and some styles I just can't wear although the length is right. Hey gap, XS TALL SHIRTS, PLEASE!

needs more stretch
I'm 6'2'', 155 lbs. I'm on the tall side of "tall", so I was thrilled to find a shirt that covered my wrists and my very long torso! Sadly, the fit was too loose. Ordered a large (I have broad shoulders) and would have probably fit best in a medium (width wise), but then I'd loose some length in the arms/torso (which fit just right). I also think it would be more flattering if it had just a touch of spandex or polyester in it....help it keep its shape throughout the day. Yay to Gap, though, for making a "tall" for those of us over 5"10! If you are my height and busty (I'm not), this could be a great shirt for you.

Not what they used to be.
I used to own GAP Favorite long sleeve Ts in every color available. The sizing has changed. I am 5'8" and 150lbs. I used to buy Medium Tall. Last monthI bought a Small Tall. It is HUMONGOUS. (Note: My body is still the same size. GAP's sizing is getting worse and worse.) The length of the tall is great, but that is the only good thing about this tee. I have no idea why a size Small is so huge. It appears to be about a Size 14. Very upsetting that all GAP clothes are too big for me, and I am not a small person. What's going on GAP?

You'll love this ... bought 1 in the store then purchased 3 long sleeve & 3 short sleeve online. The material feels so comfy & soft. Please believe the other reviews when they say the regular length ... comes past your hips & the ... hits mid thigh on the long sleeve favorite T's (I'm 5' 2"), but i still love these ... & the ... length would look great with a pair of denim leggings.

Love, Love, Love these T's! I am 6' ... have finally found a ... long enough in both the body and the sleeve! I will continue to shop talls here. Cheaper and better fit than ones I've purchased from ... stores! I bought some for my girls who are taller than me. I hope they like their Christmas present!

I'm a 6' ... gal who has a dickens of a time finding shirts that are long enough in the sleeve and body to fit me. Seriously -- I have so many ... aren't long enough that I've pretty much accepted it as just "the way it is." But these ... awesome! Super long in the body and arms -- at first I thought maybe even TOO long ... but after the first washing, my ... shrank so it's perfect now. Doubting that ... would really mean ... ongoing issue), I bought the XL, thinking it might work. So once it shrank, the arms and body are perfect.

Great basic
This ... very soft and the perfect fit and length. The material is a nice weight too, not too thin and not too thick. The grapeade color is the best purple I've seen in years on a ... hope they offer more pieces, like a short sleeve basic ... color. One note on ... sizing, I seem to wear a M ... S ... Old Navy. Not sure why sizing is different but the shoulders seem not wide enough on the ... S Talls. This ... fitted enough that the waist doesn't seem to large on a M however.

My Favorite ...
I love Gap's "Favorite" long sleeve ... sizes. I'm a not super ... but ... enough that the regular sizes are always a bit short in the sleeves and torso. The Tall's are a great fit and the cotton in the "Favorite" style is supersoft. I practically live in these in the fall/winter. Will be ordering more in different colors. Definitely a staple you should have in your wardrobe.

Frustrated with ...
Okay, so this ... perfect. The length is long, the sleeves are long, the fabric is soft and good quality, the stitching is sharp. So why the frustration? Because it is further evidence that there WAS a big problem with the favorite shirts they were selling not too long ago. This ... Small ... good FOUR inches longer than the Small ... favorite shirts I've bought before this summer. In fact, when I purchased another small ... long sleeve favorite a few months ago, it was the first one to be like this one with great length. At that time, I was so surprised at my other SIX small ... long sleeve favorite shirts which were so vastly smaller. Smaller width, dramatically shorter length and sleeves, that I wrote an email to ... see if I could have them replaced. The customer service rep wrote to send them back with a letter explaining my issue, and someone would make a decision. So I sent them to ... my own expense. When I finally received a box back from them (several weeks later), it was all of my shirts back with a note stating that they were not deemed to be "damaged". Ya, I didn't say they were damaged, I said they were not actually talls or if they were, they shrunk FOUR inches. Either way, not acceptable. And then finally, as I shopped for yet another small ... favorite ... replace one of the ridiculously short "talls" I have back courtesy of ... noticed this little note from customer service stating that they are aware of the quality problems with the previous favorite shirts and that the problems have been addressed. Well, perhaps they've improved future shirts, but that does not a problem solve. How about exchanging the grossly inadequate shirts with the new, quality ones! UGH! I spend so much each month on my ... card, but if this isn't dealt with, I will have to cancel it and move to a new favorite retailer...

Really IS Perfect ...
I am impressed with this product -- as a ... woman, it is difficult to find t's long enough in the arms and overall -- this ... size cotton ... pure perfection -- and the price just cannot be beaten. These are great but...
Great ... but I got one in the mail with a torn hem. Also, the "Talls" are not that ... sleeves and body are still too short. Come on ... if you're gonna call it ... make it ...

... sizes seem bigger now....
I bought this ... size Small ... wow have the lengths gotten wayy longer. I'm 6ft. ... I've bought this ... past in a ... still fits me perfectly. This ... now crazy long in size ... but I don't really mind so I kept it. The bottom hem almost reaches the bottom of my bum, and the sleeves are a bit too long, but those can always be rolled up. I haven't worn and washed it yet, so I'm hoping that it shrinks up a bit as usually ... shirts will anyway.

... - we are so disappointed!!
I recently ordered 4 favorite t's for my daughter, who is a M ... We have been ordering these favorite t's for about 4 years now, and my daughter wears them all the time. She is 5' 10" ... very slim. These t's look FANTASTIC on her, and she dresses them up or down, depending on the occasion. They fit snug, but not too snug, and are the right length all around. It is so nice for me to depend on the quality merchandise that we have found with this ... place my semi annual order. Because of her height, it is oftentimes hard for her to find the right fit. HOWEVER, when we received the recent order, the t's are too loose in the waist and bust. While they look the same, they are NOT the same favorite ... we have been ordering for the past 4 years. The fit is completely different. ... - why do you change your formulas/suppliers on items you carry from year to year? We are so disappointed!!!! Now we have to start all over again, because I am sure the Small ... not fit my daughter properly. Also, we have had the same issues as a previous reviewer has noted - the hem unravels or gets tiny little holes. Go back to your original supplier, ... lose many unhappy (and long time) customers because you have changed this ...

Not so favorite anymore
Favorite T's have changed from original. Recently ordered Favorite ... size but was too short once washed. I have probably bought at least 20 favorite T's in the last few years. I wear one everyday under my surgical scrubs and for other casual wear. Last shipment of short and long sleeve Tees (Med ... Black iare almost too short to tuck in at all. I ordered a Med ... extra length (usually wear a size 6 top, size 4 pant and am 5'7"), but they seem shorter than some of my regular Tees. Not sure if ... changed the fabric to something cheaper, or if cut is just inconsistent. Used to LOVE my favorite Tee's, but now am disappointed and may look elsewhere.
