Size matters!
Have this tee in medium, ... wasn't thrilled with the fit. I wanted a snug ... use as bottom layer or for gym. As I ... lightweight material and cut, reordered it in a small, and it is perfect. Stretches slightly ... much when compared to all cotton tees. The slimmer cut flatters; the spandex stretches to hug upper arms making them look smaller. I'm 5'3#, 135 lbs. Recommend sizing down when buying this tee.

First time purchase
Interesting material. there is a bit of a sheen. the ... still has ... fit, ... material can be somewhat transparent when overly stretched. it makes me think that if i wore it with no bra and someone snapped ... picture (with a flash) you might be able to see ... know whats." having said that, I still like the ... would probably reserve it for active wear with something underneath.

... maternity used to make a favorite ... t....I LOVED them!!! The ... seems a little too thin. ... layering ... miss the old ones. ... were about twice the thickness of these t's.

Material shows off what ever figure you have
This is a very stretchy, thin material that is ... flattering for a figure with a little extra curve. It seems to accentuate the figure you have so if you are a fit person the stretchy material will definitely show that ... so ... women with a little extra love handle or tummy.

This is the perfect Summer T
These T Shirts are Perfect for the summer and for all year round layering. They are my go to Ts, extremely comfortable, flattering and fitted. They are very slimming are are true to size for a fitted fit. Go up a size if you prefer a loose fit. The material is ... completely conforms to the ... They use to offer navy, I wish Gap will bring back the dark navy as an option.

Great length for taller women

Best ... I''ve ever found!
I marked this as too small, because you have to be familiar with the sizing of the ... line as a bit more snug than regular GAP shirts. Knowing that, I always order a large for it to be slightly loose, when I normally wear a medium. These shirts are the perfect weight for layering, or summer wear. I've noticed that the most recent ones are even a tad bit longer than last year's - the length has a very slimming effect. I'm 5'7", 125# with a long torso, so I love how long they are. The ... them is great (even when I just air dry them, the wrinkles from the wash go away immediately upon wearing), and I can even wear them all the way through pregnancy without it getting stretched out! I have a bunch and am anxiously awaiting more colors!! Thanks for such a reliable ... GAP designers.

Great length for taller women
I'm 5'10" and sometimes I opt for the tall sizes. Many of the newer materials aren't in tall, such as Gap active line of shirts. However, I find this ... great length, very light (good for FL weather) and very soft. I love the ... which is flattering for me (Size A chest). I have Purple and Black. I'll be looking for more colors when they come out.

Go to ... shirts for summer 2010!
These are my go to ... shirts in summer 2010. They wash great, hold up well, but start to ... after a LOT of washings.

Still great fit, but why so flimsy?
I have been wearing white GAP ... shirts for years -- the Fit is Fabulous and very Flattering! But, my older ... shirts were made of much sturdier, sleeker fabric -- cotton/spandex blend (93/7) made in El Salvador. These new ones are so flimsy! The fabric is like tissue paper and is extremely transparent. I don't mind showing off a pretty bra, but when my scars and freckles show through, it's a bit much.

Not what I thought
I bought these t shirts thinking that they were the same as one I had purchased in the store. Turns out it was a much more fitted shape than I expected. I ended up returning them and purchasing another ... shirt that was almost identical only a different fit ... think it was). I did like the original ... purchased online only I was not aware that it was a much slimmer fit.

bring back the ... t shirt
purchased 15 t ... t shirts thinking they were the replacements. For the basic ... t shirt. Greatly disappointed. Poor fit. Poor quality. See through fabric. Looks worn out with one washing. Will return them. Please bring back the basic ... t shirt!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!
I never write product reviews but these shirts were so awful that I feel obligated to warn other buyers. They run small, as noted in other reviews, but that is ... real issue. The fabric is disgusting. There is no way these are 95% cotton. They feel like nylon. Very thin, sheer and scratchy. I was hoping to replace my ultimate ... tees which are starting to wear out after years of constant wear. These are ... worthy replacement. They are very poor quality. I used to count on gap for high quality basics but the quality of their clothing has plummeted in the past few years. The search for the perfect black tee continues. Needless to say, I returned these tees.

Poor Quality
The quality of GAP t shirts continues to decline. These tees fade quickly (I always buy them in Black) and they are thin and poor quality. Although they are stretch, they do not hold their shape well at all. Please bring back the regular ... tees!

BRING BACK STRETCH T''s!
I agree with the disappointed reviewers. Most of them have purchased the ... T, most likely, hoping it would be a good alternative to the Stretch T's, which have been discontinued. The ... T, in my opinion, does not stack up to the Stretch T. Who wants to spend money on an ultra thin T that is unflattering on its own and can ONLY be used for layering? BRING BACK THE STRETCH T!!!!!!!

It made it Out of Africa
I got these ... because ... flattering, soft, and are good for all around wear. I keep buying them because ... just don't wear out!! I go to Africa on a mission trip for a month every year and we live rough and hand wash all of our laundry almost every other day. After all of that abuse, these ... still wearable in public in the States! I end up giving away all but what I need to wear home to friends in Africa. I have one ... I've worn the past two years and it still looks practically new. This year, the other women on the team are buying this ... too for the trip. ... have seen all of their ... fall apart and stain in the wash. . . but my ... comes out looking great!

Love this ...
Ordered this ... having been disappointed by other related brand's flimsy T's. So glad I did! It has a great amount of ... doesn't wear out over the day. I am a nursing mom, so my ... get stretched alot over the course of a day and this one held up all day! The V neck isn't too low, but just low enough and the fit is great (5'1", 120lbs, ordered XS). got it in tarnished teal and I love the color! Will have to go back and get more!

I love these T's, I ordered two for casual wear at home ... arrived I found ... also appropriate for wearing outside. They've very soft and form fitting, which is nice if you are using them as a bottom layer. I'm hoping ... go on sale soon so I can stock up on more!

Beyond Perfect--Picture Doesn''t Do It Justice
This ... perfect as its long sleeve counterpart. I bought a similar ... Banana Republic that gapped in the shoulders and hung weird--NOT THIS ONE. It comes down snug, ... tight on your shoulder. The whole ... just lays over your ... like skin, ... it's ... binding. I can't even explain it, because I didn't think such a thing existed. It doesn't make your bumps stand out either. It's the perfect length--a lttle longer than most ... too long. I'm ... really sure ... did it. I do wear a tight silk cami under all my t's, and that works well with these ... picture ... have with that model does ... do the ... justice. ... need a bigger busted model to wear this one because it's a flattering ... those with a little cleavage. It's ... some sloppy ... It's classy and highlights the curves.

Happiness for Full Figured Women
As a full figured woman in my early 40's, I am always searching for classic clothes in my size that I can use for work, going out on the town, or just running errands. Perfect Fit
I just had a baby and am feeling a little out of shape, ... flatters in all the right places. I ordered an XL, as I'm a sz. 14 with a large bust. The v neck flatters the bustline without creating those pesky stretching lines across the chest as some ... do when ... too tight. The curves and fit of the mid section flatter and show a waistline separate from the bust! This is a must for me since I have broad shoulders and a big bust some ... can just look like a sack. This ... makes me look like the curvy woman I am! Love it and love the color of purple! The fabric is super soft and provides ample coverage (as opposed to so many paper thin knits these days that make you feel like you have to wear 2 ... fabric also held up to a day of wrestling my two year-old and 5-month old without getting stretched out!

The v neck isn't too deep, and the material stretches and clings to the ... If you're ... looking for a tight fit maybe you should order a size larger than normal. However, if you're a fan of showing off what you've got this ... definitely get the job done.

Good utility ... -- but fabric is thin
I buy these ... year after year. This year, the fabric is noticeably thinner. I really hope ... doesn't go the way of JCrew and try to sell "tissue t's" as acceptable alternatives to actual ...

Poor quality.
I'm 5'9", 150 lbs., with a small chest (36A bra). After reading reviews I ordered large and wish I had ordered medium. These ... like many ... made for large chested women. ... fit well around the mid section, ... too loose across the chest and shoulders. I also found that many of these ... ordered 8 at once) have side seams that twist around. The material seems to have been sewn so that the ... all twisty and awkward. C'est la vie! For the price, I'll look elsewhere for an all around ... fits well.

Best tanktop ever! Make more colors!
I believe this is the best ... top Gap has created ever!!! I've tried every Gap ... one is so versatile! The length is perfect... it's a little longer than typical Gap tanks. I hate when tanks are too short. They don't shrink that much when you put them in the dryer. I like to wear these under everything... sweaters, workout tops, and under other ... short & long sleeved tees. The collar is also not too deep. Though I wouldn't mind them be slightly higher... maybe .25" closer to the neck. I don't like to show cleavage when I bend over. The 7% spandex is great too. That way it keeps its shape throughout the whole day. It doesn't stretch out. They last forever too! I have some that are 2 years old. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish they came in more colors. I have like 3 of each basic color: black, white, and gray. I also have the mauve pink shade & the purple gray color (most recent seasonal colors). I've tried to dye white ones with Rit but they don't come out consistent because they are not 100% cotton. GAP PLEASE MAKE MORE COLORS!

Loved this tank for layering
I love this tank! I have it in both black and white. The fabric is soft with just the right amount of stretch. Works great alone for exercise, but I use it most for layering under other tops. It washes and dries beautifully. These are definitely my favorite tanks!

BEST TANK TOP U CAN PURCHASE!!!
I am soooooo delighted with this tank top that I own it in 6 different colors . A definite staple for your wardrobe. It's a soft stretch fabric which doesn't lose it's shape and washes very well. It's the perfect length since it's a little bit longer than the average tank which allows it to peak thru the hem of a cardigan. It's not low cut where you end up showing cleavage but yet not too high up which may make you look matronly. It's great for layering and does not add bulkage. I absolutely love it.

... way to go, if you're looking for the most comfortable ... top to wear everyday! Best of all the material doesn't stretch out after several washes . . .

This ... perfect. The fabric is nice and it does not stretch out. It is long which I love and the neckline is not to high or low. I will purchase more.

PureBody = by far my favorite line of basic shirts
These tanks are great. These have just the right amount of stretch and aren't too thick. Pure ... shirts solve all of my usual issues with basic t shirts and tanks (I think that thick, 100% cotton shirts tend to be really unflattering on curvier girls like me since they rarely fit smoothly, and they pull in funny places and accentuate curves in a bad way, especially if they are ribbed, and these are not like that at all). The fit is not overly tight, but it's slim - just like I like it (and true to size for me in overall fit/length/etc. - I'm average ish height - not quite 5'4" - and always a large). Very flattering. The stretch fabric is great for casual and active wear, but these can also be dressed up with patterned skirts and things since, unlike some 100% cotton basic shirts, the sleek fabric and simple cuts don't look messy. The stretchy, not thick-but not-too sheer fabric is really excellent for layering, too, since it isn't likely to bunch up under another shirt (even another slim fitting one) or add bulk. Oh, and they are SUPER soft and comfy. I have this in black, grey, and white now!

Very versatile tank, love the fabric!
I am a tank top collector -I wear them all year round and am always looking for different ones to add to my collection. This one is great, because it has nice coverage under the arms and straps wide enough to cover bra straps, and is nicely fitted everywhere else -looks sleek and slimming, not tight or constricting. The fabric is incredibly soft and smooth -the white is a lttle sheer, but not too see through, and has enough stretch to wear for yoga or other activites. I'm 5'9" and 128 lbs, and did not need to order a tall for this shirt -the regular is long enough to peek out from shirts I wear over it, but not too long to tuck into pants comfortably. Great basic -would love to see more colors!

Great basic
Love these tanks! A great basic that can be used for any occasion - comfortable for hanging around, can dressed up for going out, or worn under a sweater to be work appropriate. The soft, smooth fabric doesn't stretch out throughout the day.

I love this ... Really soft fabric, fits a slim person perfectly but has lots of stretch. Neckline is modestly low which I like too.

AWESOME - VERY Versatile
I have to say the only reason why I purchased this was b/c it was on sale so I figured, "WHY NOT". So glad I had ! I'm 5'8" 130 lbs, not the longest of torso's although I find that generally with small sizing I have to sacrifice length and with this ... didn't AT ALL - I wasn't even worried about shrinking in the dryer. It's great for layering or wearing solo. Definitely form fitting although not tight - great stretch.

Great versatile cami
I really like these camis. I wear them under most of my shirts and sweaters and these camis are working out great so far. The cotton blend is soft, but the amount of spandex makes it seem like it will retain its shape and it has so far. I ordered one in every color and I'm glad that I did because I will definitely get a lot of use out of them. Hopefully Gap will keep this style around for awhile because I'm a big fan.

The Pure ... Cami is the perfect under shirt for all seasons. Fits amazingly under thin tanks, tees, and sweaters. You don't even know you are wearing an extra shirt it's so thin and light weight.

This is by far one of the greatest tank tops on the market! It is heavy enough to wear by itself or use it for layering under shirts. Love the length and fit; not too tight, but gives a little suck in! LOVE IT! BUY MANY OF THEM :)

Great size, length and it is not too tight or loose. This cami is lightweight which is great for layering. I'm 5'9" with a long torso. I ordered a medium (regular) and it's perfect length to go under shirts!

It''s perfect
I love this tank! I bought it specifically to wear under really thin shirts and under T shirts to create a layered look. It's long enough to hang below my T shirts. I love it! I didn't buy it to wear all by itself. I think it's a little too thin for that. I bought white, gray and black and I wear one ALL the time!

Different
I bought a PureBody tank top in the store and instantly fell in love with it! It was so soft I never wanted to take it off! I ordered a black one online and am not thrilled with this new one! It feels like any top from any old store! I am extremely upset if this is how the new feel is of the PureBody tops! I also ordered long sleeve shirts and they feel the same, NOT soft! I got the first top on sale so be warned, if you are looking for the old feel, DON'T order! And when I say the sleeves are too long I wanted the top to cover more chest area and not even fully cover my bra so I am saying the straps are too long.

Extremely see through
This tank is so thin I'm not sure what good it would do even as a layering piece. I will probably wear it under thin t shirts but even then, I'm not sure it will do much.
