Love this bra! I wore it beneath a backless summer dress and it was perfect -- stayed in place, looked great, provided the expected amount of support (i.e., not much). Would recommend for smaller busted women for sure.

Not just for "yay girls without giant b##bs"
The bra is made in a size D after all. Thereby, one can assume that larger breasted women might find it useful as well. And they will. Large breasts do not prohibit one from enjoying backless clothing items, not having the right support, however, does. This bra easily solves that problem by guaranteeing coverage and stability. You have got to give this a try and, even if you are voluptuous (yay for us girls with giant b##bs) you will also find it revolutionary.

cup size depends on ribcage size
Remember when Oprah did the show about how most women in America were wearing the wrong bra size? The experts on the show found that most women were wearing too loose of a ribcage size (34-36-38, etc.) and therefore, understood their cup size to be smaller than it really is. Cup size increases as ribcage measurement decreases. Which is why I think it is confusing for Gap just to give a cup size for this bra, as if that is some standard, rigid measure. It would be helpful for Gap to add: "based on a size 32 ribcage," which is what I found to be true. I can wear a size 34B but my truest size is 32C. So I bought the C cup size in this bra and it worked, but it would never work for a woman who is a size 38C. Does that make sense? Hope this helps.

Not perfect, but keeping it
I am usually between a C and D cup, but lately I've been more of a C (lost some weight). So I ordered the C and I really wished I had ordered up a size. I didn't expect much support but I hoped the cup would fit around my breast - as it is, the C cup doesn't cover much at all. But it does keep me from having a "nip slip" in a low back top/dress and I'm planning to wear it for my wedding. I'm happy with how well the cups stick on - just wish there was a better sizing guide...
