Finally ... fit!
Gap is the only place we have been able to find ... fit my slender, straight shaped 7th grade ... Most times if we find something to fit in the waist, it is too short. Or, we have to crank in the adjustable waistband so far that she gets that lovely poofy look. Size 14 SLIM gap ... fit around her waist and around the butt and don't pouch up in front. And they are plenty long. She is very happy. We got two different color washes, plus the Jewel Box ... they all seem to fit similarly. Now if we could just find the 14S in the store more often!

Grownup who wears GapKids!
I am a grownup who buys GapKids because the inseam is perfect, the ... fit is just right, the price is from heaven, I love the release elastic at the waist -- they are fabulous. The rise is nearly right! I just wish it were two inches higher! I have never bought the women's version - 16 slim girls' is so good, I have never tampered with what works. I for sure recommend the girls' ... because if they work for me, they will be supremely comfortable for your daughters! They do not -- even with a slightly lower rise than I'd like -- slide down to show my butt, so they will be terrific for a child. I am 5' 3" tall which is the tall end of the spectrum and I weigh 105 pounds. Buy these with confidence for your daughter if she falls within these parameters. (I have both the slim and the regular -- the regular are slightly more roomy and for when I want a less sexy look!!!!) The washes I have are dynamite! You go Gap! Will be back for new washes!!!!!! They make me look and feel wonderful (dare I say "hot?").

I read reviews before my purchase. The dark ones may be skinner. I bought the medium and then came back for another pair. My daughter, 11, IS super ... 5' 2 1/2 inches and 90 pounds, but we hate ... cling, make it hard to move and are so tight in the ankle you have to point like a ballerina to get them on or off. She LOVES these ... slim, size 16, they are not too tight and also they aren't baggy. The ankles are more fitted but not hard to get on or off. We bought two other gap ... 16 slim, in the same batch. She thinks they're ok, but she will always wear these first, so I came back for another pair.

... tall - slim ...
My daughter is 11 but tall and slender. Size 12 fits in the waist but is way too short. These 14 super ... size slim were th perfect find after months of looking.

Love these ...
My 9 year old is very picky about her denim but she loves the look of these ... She is a bit big in the tummy so we sized up 2 sizes and she wears them with a belt. The leg is almost more of a straight cut than ... which we both prefer. Better ease of movement but they still look great tucked in to a boot. They are a true cotton demin -- not the cheap polyester blends I keep seeing popping up.

Excellent ... my daughter
I have a tall, slim, almost seven year old daughter, and these ... such a great fit for her they might as well be custom made. I checked out the size chart, grabbed my tape measure, and went ahead and ordered online after measuring her. The 7 slim, super ... have an adjustable waist, but the size chart is was so on the money that I don't think I even had to fiddle with the elastic. My only worry was how the distressed wash would look in person - and that turned out well also. Cool, not over the top fading and distress marks.

Great ...
My daughter is between sizes right now. She's prepubsecent and has gotten a little thick around the middle in the last month or so and her regular 12's are too tight. Know that 14's would be way too long, I ordered 12 plus however the 12 plus were HUGE. So I ordered 10 plus and they are perfect. The length is great, the have that ... look and easily tuck into boots, and the extra room around the waist accomodates what I expect may be only a temporary weight gain. I ordered several other pairs of pants from Gap in 10 plus for her with the same success as well.

Great purchase
Good pricing, good fit, cute and quick shipment. Can't beat that! They are slim leg without being super ... so work well tucked in boots, or with a flat shoe without making my tall slim daughter look like a peg leg like some of the ... bit long, which is perfect for us, but may be too long for some.

Cute ...
Loved the slim look...but I ordered a slim size for my extra tiny daughter and they were SUPER ... just as described! Should have ordered a regular instead of a slim.

Super ... regular gals
These "super ... fit my daughter well (tight, but comfy). Her solid frame is too big for the Gap embroidered straight leg ... though - go figure. The rise is low, as mentioned by another reviewer. But as she will not be wearing belly bearing tees any time soon, I think it's fine.

Overall great ... but more like a ... not a "super ...
I bought these for my very slender daughter and they fit more like a regular ... not a super ... sure. Other Gap super ... seem to fit a little better. Overall good basic ... but not the skinniest fit.

Perfect Skinny ...
I bought these ... size 14 Plus. I am a 5'1, 95 lb mid 20's woman and it has been so difficult to find ... actually fit length wise as well as flatter my legs. These skinny ... my holy grail! I really wish that they made more colors with this style and fit. The ... comfortable and not too skinny but very flattering to someone who is not stick skinny. The length is perfect and I couldn't ask for more! I tried some other "super skinny" ... Gap store but they were baggy and not skinny at all. Glad I found these and hopefully Gap makes more similar to these in different colors!

true skinny ...
I love these ... because they truly are "skinny" ... my daughter. These ... have the adjustable waist (unlike the legging ... must have for my petite daughter. She is 7, and the size 6 fits her perfectly. So cute!

Best ... super skinny girls!!
Only Gap can get the super skinny ... right. Till now my poor ... had to wear baggy horrible pants.. These are the only ones that fit a truly skinny ... look fashion smart too. Keep them coming and we love the dark color. Kudos Gap!!!

Love them!
These are just like the women's 1969 skinny ... terms of quality and fit. I bought the size 14R (I'm 5'1", 98 lbs, 24" waist, 33" hips, 27" inseam). I've owned a pair of 1969 women's skinny ... 00P since they first hit the shelves, but this kids pair fits much better. The women's pair fits well in every way except inseam (much too long; wear cuffed) when it comes out of the dryer but as the day goes on they become a little too loose in the waist and baggy in the legs so that they fit more like a straight leg. Sometimes kids sizing and styles just do not work for an adult, but these are stylish, comfy, and best of all fit right out of the package. I may have to hem the bottom, though, if they don't shrink a bit in the wash. These actually fit so good as is, I'm a little afraid that if I wash them they will shrink and be too tight. Love that 1969 has a kids line! I'm eying the kids ponte pant now, and hope Gap will come out with a "fitted" straight leg or just skinny (not super skinny) that is between their current super skinny and their current straight leg (which looks way too baggy, more like a boyfriend ... cut).

Comfortable
This has to be the most comfortable pair of ... have ever worn. I am a petite lady and usually wear size 12 in kids. Adult ... tend to be too long or just too big for me. These ... fit perfectly. The fit is ... but I still can still move around in them. They also look stylish and I especially like the dark wash.

I love that Gap makes slender skinny ... biggest challenge with ... we are excited that this is the right combination of tall and skinny.

Perfect ... school
My daughter has been wearing these over the last 2 years. She is a skinny 5 year old (41 lbs) and I got her the size 6 because she likes to wear things a bit big. Because of the super skinny leg, they don't look too baggy on her. They have enough stretch that she can run around and still be comfortable. She's picky about the comfort of her clothes, so if she likes something, we stick with it.

Closest to true skinny jean
These run closest to a true skinny ... my daughter. She is really thin (I'm talking 0 percentile here) but the slims actually look like skinny ... her. I had problems finding skinny ... her that didn't run baggy, even in some of Gap's other washes for super skinny (grey and purple). These were best. Waist was still a little roomy. Recommended for anyone with a thin kid looking for a true skinny fit.
