Fabulous skinnies
I am in love with ... I'm not one to normally go the ... anything route - tried ... after reading the reviews & am SO happy I took the plunge! Are very figure flattering & did not make me appear top heavy as I feared - I'm a size 12 & 5'7" and ... were very true to size. The length is great - regulars went to the bottom of my heel. ... do stretch a bit with repeated wear, but I was able to wear mine about 4-5 times before I had to wash them. Didn't tumble dry, just hung in fear ... would shrink or lose their colour. My only caveat is that ... tend to pick up lint a bit - nothing a good lint roller (I carry one in my purse) can't take care of. Overall if you're on the fence I highly suggest you purchase them - so cute! I ordered a second pair already!

LOVE MY NEW BLACK SKINNIES!!!
I love ... I'm 5'10" and wear a size 2 Long. ... comfortable and keep me warm on the cold days. ... very versatile, you can ... them up or down and ... look very nice and very appropriate for work. I dont know about ... other people but for me, the ... fit perfect the ... just how it is shown in the picture for me and unlike another post i saw, the fabric of the ... not shiny. Its a very cute/sexy/classy look.

LOVE ... Bless you, for making a truly ... fitted dress ... ordered small hoping ... wouldn't get gapey, like some of the other reviews, and I have had NO problems with that at all. (disclaimer, I'm small, and ordering small fits me all over- ie, I don't have to order up a size to accommodate hips or rear). I hate traditional dress ... am going to have to order another pair of ... because I can already tell I'll wear them out... great for so many things and I am totally comfortable wearing them to an office that doesn't have casual Fridays, and considers dress code to be "a step or two up from what bankers wear"...

On Third Pair
... hands down, my favorite ... look great for work, going out, or with a plain t shirt and sandals on a Sunday morning. The fabric makes it very versatile. I bought my first pair over a year ago and wore them 2-3 times a week. I pretty much wore them into the ground. I'm usually a 2, and the 2 regular ... perfectly. ... tight, but not restricitve - the material is kind of soft and forgiving. They're also super slimming. I can look a little pear shaped in some skinnies, ... don't give me that problem. Please, please, please don't change ... Gap!

Wanted to like these but...
I was going to order ... online but I just couldn't bring myself to buy ... without trying them on first so I went to a store and its a good thing I did. I'm 23 years old 5' 7" and 140lbs and can range anyware in ... size 4 to a size 8... I thought I would need an 8 in ... based off the sizing chart but I actually fit best in a size 6. The fit was good and bad.... the waist was higher ... sit at the top of the hips) which I like for dress ... fit well. The length was actually a little long in the regular and I am by no means short.... and ... were a little too tight in the thighs as lose in the crotch. I wanted to get ... work because I didnt want the same old boring slacks and I love my ... jeans but because the fit and the fact ... don't have pockets ... looked too much like leggings. I ended up getting the "slim fit" ankle dress ... instead. ... gave the same look as the ... but without any of the issues, ... thicker material with actual pockets and $10 cheaper. I think ... would look cute for a night out but not the work wear I was looking for....

Yuck
I love ... Gap! I have many pairs of jeans and dress slacks. However ... were obscene. I am a thin person and ... were just WAY too tight..everywhere. ... categorized as work ... but I would be sent home if I wore ... work. ... were trying to give a legging appearance but just missed the mark. The fabric also collected lint and dust easily and always looked dirty, even when I took them out of the packaging for the first time. I highly recommend the Perfect Trouser and Bootcut dress slacks.

Truly Straight ...
I love these ... so much that I've bought 6 pairs of them! I find it so hard to find ... truly straight. ... these days tend to be either too skinny or too wide. These are perfect. They appear to be very well made and I love the material. This is one of the first reviews I have ever written but I want to encourage Gap to continue to offer these ... maybe even to offer them in other colors, like navy, gray, cream. I would buy all of them. I have taken these ... my tailor and asked them to alter some of my other ... wider legs to match the legs of these ...

LOVE THESE!!!!!
I have the hardest time finding "skinny" pants that are flattering, so I was thrilled when I found these straight fit pants. They are very flattering in the butt and thighs. They are great for work because they are form fitting but not too tight (simple and classic but still totally stylish). They are also extremely comfortable! I feel like I'm wearing workout pants, because there is so much stretch and not in a baggy way at all. I would also recommend getting a size smaller. I'm 6 ft tall and I usually wear a long 8 in pants at stores other than the gap, but at Gap, I usually wear a 6L. I ended up getting these in a 4L (not the "TALL" because the XL is WAY too long, even on me)... Overall, GREAT pants if you want the "skinny look" while still looking classic

great work ...
I work in retail and we have a dress code, so since GAP has provided me with all of my chinos, I thought I'd give black dress ... try, too. I do a lot of bending and climbing in my job, and these ... wear like leggings. They are a lightweight, stretchy material, but appear gabardine in appearance. I'm short waisted and they hit under my navel, and the 33" inseam is the perfect length for my 5'7" height. They have become my new work favorite. I'll definitely try more True Straight styles.

only time will tell...
So far, I love these, except for the fact that they are way too long. I'm 5'8'' and they are still at least an inch too long, I think they would even be long with heels although I usually wear flats. I like the material and the fit and I think they are very flattering. Also, I would consider these to be more of a "slim bootcut" not straight, which is good for work--the GAP skinny leg pants were way too skinny for work. However, I have noticed that they have already stretched out a bit, and some reviews suggested that they stretched out A LOT... i guess only time will tell, but if they do I will just buy a size smaller.

Great pair of ...
I love these ... had a feeling, when ordering them, that I would. They are long, but I am short so I am used to having about 98% of my ... shortened to fit me better. Great for casual ... up or down. Just add a great top and some accessories to dress up or add a casual top and cute shoes to dress it down. I will definitely get a lot of use out of these once they are hemmed.

nice but too long
I tried on these ... store and excited for slim fit dress pants...i'm over the wide legged dress ... work. I ordered them online when I saw some sales. The ... came and they are sooooo long! I true 2--not ankel, not long, just a regular length 2. Sadly I have to wear my highest heels or fold over the cuff to get these to fit.

Wonderful Work ...
I've been looking for Dress ... fit well (slims the body, kind of like the skinny jeans of the work environment) and this is pretty much it. (if it were any tighter, then it'd be inappropriate right?). Normally I am a Size 0 for Jeans. However, no Dress ... size seemed to fit, until I ordered the 00petite. It fits very well, albeit it being a tad longer. They are comfortable and I really value it for its fit and look.

Great skinny pants
I don't wear skinny pants because I don't feel like they flatter me. But these are sort of skinny - for me anyway - and they fit great. I normally wear an 8 but the 6 fit in these so they do run big. They are also very long - I'm 5'9" and always wear heels and they're too long even then. I will hem them a little to make them look nice with heels. Overall, nice and slimming black pants.

At least one size too big!
I've been searching for new black ... while now and it's hard to beat these ... price - I got them for [$] in store. They're especially great because I'm 5' 8" but have long legs, so I have trouble finding ... wear with heels. I got these in Long and they're perfect with 3" heels. Also, I'm a young attorney, so I really like the idea of a straight suit ... However, I have two complaints. First, the material is kind of strange ( more like a pique than a dress ... so it doesn't go with most suit jackets. Obviously, most people won't care about that. Second, the ... already run big (I usually wear a 6 but had to get the 4 in these) and they stretch out too much after ironing or wearing them for a few hours. Overall, I really like them - it's about time Gap carried decent black ... Longs and Talls!

These have potential
I am reordering these in a shorter length - how is this for nuts? I am 5'11" and wear a size 4 so I ordered longs...the only way I could dream of wearing these ... 4" heals. Honestly, who could wear these? I will try again and see with regular length - they are a nice pant and straight but not skinny legs. Would dress up nicely - great for work or a nice evening out.

Baggy, long, and attract a lot of lint
I bought these ... 4R and they are not only incredibly long (about 4-5 inches too long and I'm 5'6'') but they also fit much baggier in the legs than they do on the model. I returned the 4R and tried on a 4P in store. The length is much better, but they are still very baggy in the leg. I like a much more tailored fit with dress ... but since I badly needed black dress ... work I decided to buy these regardless. I am going to have to carry around a lint brush with me because these ... attract an incredible amount of lint.
