Great Shirts! [...]
For one, the shirts are very nice and fit very great! I got the new vineyard, black, and white and the fossil blue still on it's way. The only one i was a little off about was the New Vineyard one... I didn't really know what color it was or what would match with it. When I got it, it looks more like the same color the joker wears in the Batman Dark Knight Movie. So it's pretty slick. It looks great with some dark blue jeans or black. I love it. [...] i got very frustrated when my black ... had a fold wrinkle on the color because of the way they put it in the bag. It's so annoying! WHY THE COLLAR!!! couldn't they have wrinkled another part that is easy to ignore??? It pokes upward when i put it on. I don't want to return this ... just for this and it's not worth paying MORE money to dry clean it. So I tried to iron it straight and it worked mostly but now there is like a burn shine on one collar. I can't ignore that because when you pay that much money for a ... should get your money's worth. If it was at a low clearance price I wouldn't care. Now I have to return it and HOPE they are careful when they send me a new one. I can't come down on the stars because the shirts deserve five stars, it's just the way they pack things that really can ruin your gift. If it was a casual cotton ... wouldn't matter, You can just iron it and it's fine because it's like a T ... These dress shirts are different. It's such a nice ... but i have to wait for it to be delivered again. TOTAL BUMMER!

Bought another ...
Yep, when I saw they added ice blue, i again asked a lady friend if she liked that and she did so I picked it. She mentioned it would look good if you wear that with dark jeans so that your top body sticks out. Right after she said that, i saw gap had their models wear her idea. I bought it and got it and am wearing it right now. it fits great! no complaints. I didn't bother with the pink one, i'd rather wear purple, i saw that pink one in the store and it looks okay if you want to prove something by wearing a pink ... but that ice blue one is great. So yep, got all the great colors. Just wish they would have some of the basic like a strong red or a navy blue i really want those, but i do love the unique colors on these shirts though.

Excellent Slim Fit
This is the best fitting ... I've ever owned, including dress shirts I've had custom made for my body type. I am 6 foot 7 and 212 lbs. The arm length is just right and the slimness couldn't be better. It doesn't hug my body to the point that I can't move freely, but when I tuck it into my pants, it doesn't bunch up and look poofy. Just right. It wrinkles a bit easier than other shirts I own, but that's a minor thing because it still looks great.

GREAT SHIRTS EXCEPT FOR ONE!
So I bought all the nice colors which are sportscar blue, blue river, optic white, true black, new vineyard, and fossil blue. They are all nice colors, but it looks like FOSSIL BLUE is ladies choice. I tested both from the gap lady on the phone and a friend of mine. Fossil blue seemed to be their favorite and it's true. When I wear it, I can see women's eyes land on me and I just smile when they do and they smile back lol. They are all nice. I will say one thing is that the blue river ... very nice, BUT the collar and the sleeve wrist are big. The length is fine, but the collar and the sleeve opening is about and inch too big. I can easily slide my hand in and out VERY easily from the sleeve because the opening is so loose. I don't really like that. I still keep the ... because I love the color and generally it fits okay, I just wish it fit like the other shirts. One more thing I will say about the sportscar blue. I just got it today and it does not look like the picture. It's not really that bright of a purplish color. It's much darker. It's looks like dark blue and dark purple mixed together. They would look okay with dark wash jeans. So these are very nice comfortable shirts except for that blue river one. It's fits, just the openings ran big so i can't tell you to go a size down because if you do, it might make the openings smaller but it will shorten the length of the ... your wrists will show threw and it will look too tight. So it's not the fit, just the odd collar and wrists. Well, I hope I was able to help. :)

So close
For reference, I'm 6 foot, 170, athletic build. I've been trying to find a truly slim fit / fitted ... awhile, and snagged a MEDIUM, "optic white" on sale to give it a try. Quality wise, it's about on par with a lot of other shirts in the under-$50 price range you'd find at [@], etc., perhaps a little on the cheap feeling side, but not by much. Fit wise it's really close. I wear a 16 or 16.5 neck, 34/35 sleeve dress ... great slim fit in the chest down through the waist. Sleeves are probably a touch under 34, but the still work fine for me. The neck is where it just misses the mark. It's probably around a 15 neck, maybe 15.5, and it's just too small for me. It's a shame too, because it's such a great fit otherwise, and the quality is good enough I'd wear it with a suit, but without a properly fitting neck, what's the point. I can still wear it without a tie, top button undone though, and it looks great. I have CK, DKNY slim fit shirts that were about the same price, and I'd wear this one over those EXCEPT for the neck issue.

nice clean fit but needs a second button to the cuffs
I got the overcast and fossil blue at the store. Both fit well but I had to sew an additional button on each cuff as it only had a single button. My wrist is somewhat small and using the outermost button would make the cuffs slip out and cover most of my hands. Most dress shirts have two buttons on the cuffs but my guess was it was done to cut down on the manufacturing costs. Also, standard dress shirts normally two replacement buttons that are sewn on the inside which these shirts did not have so I had to take a button from a different ... had the same size/color.

Love the stretch!
If you feel restricted at times when you reach for something while wearing a long sleeve ... then this ... never realized how much I would love the stretch fabric. The ... fits like it says, slim, but not skinny so it's pretty much perfect. Length and arms are as expected from the other shirts Gap makes. Looking forward to getting good use out of this ...

Stretch slim shirts L Tall
Great length on sleeves and body. I'm a 15.5 x 36 dress ... sleeves/body length are great on this ... Neck size and sleeve openings are way too big for me to wear this as a dress ... but OK for casual ... pretty standard when it comes to standard size (i.e., S, M, L, XL) button up shirts. Construction seems good. Material is a little thin/transparent, but good for this price point.

Great fit
These are great shirts but I had to return them because The Gap did not put in sleeves for collar stays. Thus, the collars are not good for wearing with ties. Pity. I love the fit and the colors and think they would make great work shirts but had to return them.

Definitely a slim fit
Definitely slim fit, which is a welcome surprise to "modern" fit shirts that are still meant for someone at least 20 lbs overweight (vice, apparently, 50 lbs with classic fit shirts). Unfortunately, i have to return my purchase because while the ... fits perfectly around the waist, it is too tight in the chest. As long as i don't move, the buttons do not pull too much, but once i do, the ... tugs on the buttons pretty hard and the ... opens up in between. Well made ... - buttons never risk falling off from this and the material is great - but that's just not a good look. I did like the ... lot, too. FYI - I wear a medium with a 32" waist and a 42" chest...a 40" chest could probably wear a medium perfectly...41" might get some pulling but still be okay.

Careful with the mark down shirts.
Okay, now the shirts are generally fine, however there is a problem with the ones that get marked down to be replaced. THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW IF THEY ARE USED RETURNED SHIRTS OR NEW SHIRTS! I really wanted the cast iron ... other light gray one, only was able to get the cast iron and it's a return someone else wore. It said it on the bag when I opened it, but not when I buy it online. I'm not in love with it and I think that is why. I could see where the tag was ripped off and it looks like it was professionally dry cleaned. I can see the shine around the neck and particle ruffles all over the ... smells a little different. Not horrible, but possibly an attempt from Gap to try to clean it up to resell it. I am not really happy with it. It was nice of them to deliver it so quick right before Christmas, but compared to the other ... colors I bought, this isn't too nice. At the color, there is usually this plastic sticks to keep the collar spread. THEY ARE MISSING!!! Could have at least put those in there before reselling it to me. I don't want to buy anything used. I think I am going to have to return it. I am just letting you guys know to beware of the marked down shirts. If you get a new ... lucky for you, but if it's a used refurbished ... consider if the mark down is worth the money. Color still looks great, quality is eh... You know how people can tell when someone buys a cheap suit? Well I don't want to give that impression with my shirts. So I am going to return it. It feels like it may have shrunk a bit when it was dry cleaned or washed. Have fun shopping guys, but do it cautiously.

Amazing!
This ... so amazing... i love it. Being 6' tall, i'm used to shirts like this not fitting in the right places. HOWEVER, this ... fits in ALL THE RIGHT PLACES. Finally! and I feel so sexy when i'm wearing it! I got it in black. I say that it flatters the butt because it is long enough to "swoop out" to define the butt

Finally a ... long enough!!!
So I always have a problem with having to get the XL regular fitted shirts just so that they can barely pass as long enough but then they are super wide, but I am not a wide person, so it looks extremely awkward. I am 5'11", with broader shoulders and an athletic build and this ... actually long enough (I can even tuck it in if I want to!!!) and slim at the same time (I got a small btw). The only thing wrong with the small is that it is a little tight in the chest (I am a 36B according to Gap bras) but it isn't too bad, I just have to watch the 3rd button down to make sure it doesn't come undone and lead to any scandalous moments. I got it in blue because they didn't have any other colors at the time in my size, but it is a pretty and professional blue. I am definitely going to try to get it in more colors when they have them.

Fits my bust!
I don't usually write reviews, but after trying this ... wearing it for a day, I feel particularly compelled. I have a large bust - 40DD, and a comparatively small waist. This means that most button down shirts that I try on are too tight in the chest, resulting in gaping holes between buttons, OR they fit like a sack with no definition for my waist. This ... does neither - it covers my chest and is very flattering overall. I ordered an XL tall, because I wanted to make sure it would be long enough to tuck in. I'm not sure how the regular compares, but I am very pleased with the length of the tall. **If you've never been pleased with the fit of button down shirts, give this one a try!

PERFECT ... PERFECT
I bought two of these and I'm buying two more. It is so rare for me to find a button down that fits my figure without needing alterations. I have a large bust, and in a size L, these shirts fit well, do not gape, and actually somehow manage to minimize my bust. These are no nonsense, I am-a professional-woman and-you will-respect me shirts. They are also extremely useful for an androgynous wardrobe.

Good standard work piece
LOVE that it is long enough! I always have problems finding dress shirts. I'm 5'9 and this one fit perfectly.

Best dress ... petite curvy women!
I am a petite (5' 2"), curvy woman and this is the only dress ... fit me. My shoulders are narrow and I have a big bust so I have a really hard time finding dress shirts. Other dress shirts usually are too big on my shoulders and make me look stumpy. I found myself getting an XS, whereas I would usually buy M or S, but was a really good fit.

Excellent qulaity and fit
I have trouble with dress shirts for work as I am 5'7 and slim with wide shoulders and long arms. They are always too big through the body by the time I get the shoulders and arms to fit. I ordered a small Tall and had to return it for a medium tall. That one fit great. Nice quality craftsmanship.

Nice ...
I really like this ... bought two -- one was a tall and one was not. The regular ... (not tall) fit better then the tall ... am 5'10", kind of busty). The ... not large enough in the chest, I have to wear it open with a cami underneath so that I don't offend anyone. I'm going to keep the shirts because they fit very well in the waist/arms/length. The ... tapers nicely in the waist so it gives it a very feminine look. It looks great with a pencil skirt or dress pants. I think you could dress up a pair of jeans and boots with the ... well. It really is an overall nice ... but you truly have to be 'shapely' to make it fit correctly.

Perfect ... indeed!
The basic white ... I've spent three years looking for. A looser fit without the ubiquitous front darts that make white "shirts" into tight blouses. The back darts give as much shape as I'm looking for -- but I like my clothes loose, and am old enough to remember women's shirts that resembled men's. Perfect casual look with jeans, capris, and pants generally. Not for those who want a more "shapely" fit or want to tuck in, but perfect for me.

Pretty ... but boxy
This is a really nice ... but it cannot be called "fitted". I am tall, slim, with looong arms and it is so hard to find shirts with long enough sleeves. Tall Gap shirts usually fit me beautifully. The sleeves on the Tall are perfectly long enough, the shoulders fit beautifully, but the body is so big! It is unfitted through the body, which I guess is the style now: wear pants that are low on the hips and tuck a slouchy ... I've ordered the next size down in the tall, so hopefully it will be slimmer. It's a gorgeous ... but it's too big to wear unless it's under a huge sweater.

Disappointed
I wanted a ... didn't have to tuck in so I am planning to return the shirts.
