Love Love Love!
These ... fabulous! They fit great and the length is great. I have a hard time finding ... fit good and are long enough (I like my pants to come just barely above the ground). These are great for both. I'm about 5'6'. The regular length is good with my tennis shoes and the long ones are prefect with my 4' and 5' heels. I got some of the sexy boot cut and the perfect boot cut. The sexy boot cut fit just a little tighter through the thighs and I think they are just a little bit longer too. I love them both!

Soooo I was in the Gap last night and tried these on. I am 5'10 and 150 lbs and I wear a 8 L or 10 L in pants depending on the store. These jeans fit me perfect in size 8. I tried the 8 L and I will say, they are long, too long for me, but nothing a tailor can't fix for a few dollars, but, I went out looking for a 8 R just to see the difference, the rep handed me a pair of 8 R and I quickly realized they were different jeans, he assured me they were the same because they only have one Sexy Boot. He was right and wrong. While there is only one Sexy boots there are two types that were made, apparenly different seasons or something, which he confirmed once I showed him the tags. THESE ONES THAT ARE ONLINE that you are reviewing and the pair I had tried on and bought are made with 80% Cotton, 1% Spandex, 19% Polyester. The other seasons one is softer and feels thinner and is made of ONLY 98% cotton and 2% Spandex. I tried the other one on and it fit totally different, but felt sooooo soft. SOOOOO my review is for this exact pair that is on the web site (it specifies the materials to the right of the picture). These are wonderful jeans that hold their shape. They will not stretch too much and do not shrink, because of the polyester in these particular sexy boot, they also have a nice sheen to them because of the poly. The previous seasons Sexy Boot didn't have the poly in them. Also, the web site has a fit guide and shows the lengths, the longs are a 35" inseam and Regular is 33" inseam. So my thinking is the people complaining on the length probably didn't look at the fit guide. I hope this helps others buying. :)

Best ... ever. period.
I own 5 pair of the sexy boot ... Gap. They are hands down my favorite ... have ever owned. I have 6 or 7 pair of designer ... little boutique shops and big names that cost upwards of $300. Still, these Gap sexy boot ... definitely my go to pair. They also transition well from Friday casual day at work, to going out with friends for dinner and drinks later. Highly recommended!!! And for the price, and the often occuring sales at Gap, you just can't beat it. Fit is true to size, really hugs my curves while slimming in all the right places.

Great for curvy girls!
My go to jeans used to be the long and-lean but in the past year I have lost 30 pounds and when I tried on the Long and-lean they did not fit me right anymore. I am a curvy girl, bigger in the hips/thighs than in the waist, and I did not expect the sexy boot jeans to fit me. I was very surprised and pleased with the fit of these jeans, and ordered a 2nd pair! I would recommend these jeans for other "curvy" girls out there as they fit very well and do not gap in the back, although I do still like to wear a belt. I like that they are not "skinny" at the ankle, too, as I don't think that style of jeans is very flattering on me! (I am 5' 10", weigh 180 lb and wear a size 12 or 14 at Gap depending on the style. In the sexy boot it is a size 14.)

love
I tried the boot cut and the sexy boot cut and the sexy are the best fit. They hug my curves (I'm short and curvy) but let me move without fear that my undies will be on display for the world. Wish the ... were a little shorter - I do have to wear these with boots or heels, but I love what they do for my rear view and legs.

Like these ...
I have the sexy boot cut ... medium and dark. For whatever reason, the medium tint has at least an inch longer inseam than the dark. I just wish these ... were more of a solid color, the whisking and fading on the hips and thighs makes them look cheap. If you have big hips, I wouldn't get these. Overall, I like the sexy boot cut ... wish they had more washes and could find a consistent inseam.

Keep the Sexy Boot!
I have loved these Sexy Boot jeans in the past and finally found some again. The problem is they are no longer in the stores and I have been told are being discontinued. I ordered my usual size 8 petite and they were obviously sized different and way too long. I have also had 8 ankle length that worked for me in the past. I reordered the 6 ... they fit like a glove! Seriously they are some of my favorite jeans. They do have some stretch but hold their shape after several wearings. The material seems a little different than in previous lines of Sexy Boot but I still like them. Some of that is they change washes and distressing. I have told many friends to try these in the past and they have quickly become their "go to jeans" too. I have not found another line of jeans at Gap that I would even purchase other than Sexy Boot. Not sure why they would discontinue them?

Worth the hunt
I've bought a LOT of ... Gap and it can be a real trial sometimes (I know--shopping, a "TRIAL!" Poor me). The new line does have several pros and cons. The fabric is very soft, which in my mind is a pro, but it does feel somewhat thin. They also have a lot of stretch, so they fit well but might sag by the end of the day a little. The sizing itself is ridiculous. I'm 5'8"-ish and weigh about 155 and pretty reliably fit into 10s or 12s. I'm also short waisted and have longer legs. So I've bought the Long and Lean, the Real Straight, and the Sexy Boot. All 3 in different sizes. Long and Leans stretch a LOT so I got those in an 8L. The different washes do fit differently; I didn't like the way the dark wash fit in the hips and waist. The Real Straight fits true to size; I got them in 10 and they fit well. But the Sexy Boot was the best. I bought them in 12L, and they wash and dry well (I air dry the others). The rise fits my short waisted figure and doesn't contribute to horrendous muffin tops. They are long enough to wear with heels. I am worried how they'll hold up over a longer time (because of the stretchy fabric and how thin it can feel), but so far so good. Best advice, try on about a kazillion pairs and don't take off the tags/wash them until you've worn them for a whole day around the house. It's a bit frustrating but can be worth it!

Don''t like the wash
I have a pair of the sexy boot ... home and like them a lot. The pair I received after placing an online order did not satisfy me for two reasons. The first was the wash - the tint is not as subtle as it is on the model/picture. The "tint" which is the fading effect is much more pronounced and, because it's lighter on your thighs and rear, they look very large. The leg then goes quickly to a dark blue...not the subtle transition these pics show. The second thing that disappointed me was the length. My current pair of sexy boots are long enough to wear with heels and these seemed shorter. Not a deal breaker because you need ... shorter heels too. The wash it what has caused me to return these.

Nice curves
Loved these ... store, but needed longer length, so ordered them online. The sizes of the new line of ... has driven me crazy. I am 6 feet tall, and a size 8 long. I bought the long and lean in the store in a size 6, and the butt stretches out as soon as you put them on. I ordered a 6 in the sexy boot cut, and they are skn tight! Not only do the styles run differently, but the washes too. The darker washes seem to be tighter. I may need to go down another size in the long and lean, and up another size in the sexy boot cut. Frustrating for me, especially ordering online, but I am determined to get it right! The ... comfortable and look amazing.

Polyester?
I adore the sexy boot Gap jeans. I've been buying them for years because of how well they fit from the waistband to the hem. But I have to say, I'm super disappointed in Gap for changing the fabric to 19% polyester. I bought a pair of the new blend about five months ago and they already have two holes! I just found the second one today on the inside of the thigh, where the only stress has been the normal rubbing when I walk. Frankly, I'm disgusted, because it just seems like they're trying to cut corners while still charging the same amount for this pair of jeans. I have had a pair of the old sexy boot ... (nearly 100% cotton) for YEARS and they are just now starting to get a tiny rip in the knee. I can't buy these ... again until they get rid of the polyester. Sorry, Gap.
