WHITE please!
I love the standard dark wash real straight ... own 4 pair. They are the best fitting ... my shape and stature and are comfortable, don't stretch out like many other Gap ... do (because of the polyester....wasn't crazy at first about the addition of polyester but it prevents the stretching out after a couple hours and can get 2 to 3 days of wear in between washings). I would love to see Gap make a couple other washes in this exact fit of the dark wash. I find that the other washes fit very differently and, essentially, aren't the same "real straight" fit. Gap - please use THIS pattern and make white and a medium blue color!!!!

Perfect ...
I feel like this ... should not look good on me. How can a ... called "really straight" work on a girl with a small waist and big hips, butt, and thighs? It just doesn't make sense. But they look great and I keep getting compliments. I am 5'2" and 135 lbs and I ordered both size 12 ... 10 ... ended up keeping the 10. The fit is snug but not too tight. Try them, you might be surprised!

Great ...
I was hesitant to order these ... worrying that they may look like "mom ... me. I am 25 years old and have never owned a pair of straight leg ... always have stuck with boot cut or skinny ... ordered these on a whim and I love these! They are most certainly not "mom ... they make the booty look fantastic and at 5ft tall, I believe they lengthen my ... huge plus!) The ... recieved are not quite as dark as the ones pictured, though I ordered the "dark" color but it's not a big deal to me. What's most important is that the fit is fantastic. 5 ft tall- 27 waist, 125 pounds- size 6 ... go back and fourth between 4P and 6P. I have athletic muscular ... booty and a smaller waist. I went with the 6P and I am very happy! A great everyday ...

love them
I'm usually a designer denim kind of gal, but I haven't been able to find a ... straight leg. I saw these in the store as a return in a 00 ... they fit but I wanted a bit more room for days after a huge lunch hahaha. The 0 ... PERFECT. I think it slims the legs and makes your butt look nice and perky. I also like the fact that I didn't have to spend over $150 for these jeans. I would definitely recommend them to a friend! For size reference I'm 5'1" and 118 lbs and the 0 ... fit perfectly.

The Curvy gal''s "Skinny ...
So, the True Straight is aboslutely perfect for those of us who've always loved Long & Lean, and Curvy, or even Boot Cut jeans, and who are a little afraid to take the plunge on a "Skinny ... perfect comprimise for a curvy figure. I'm 5'5" tall, 125 lbs, but with hour glass shape and ... lenth. While I usually order Long and Lean and Curvy in 4 ... ordered the True Straight in 6 ... assuming these would be slimmer in the butt/thigh area. Glad I did, as they are perfect and am about to order a 2nd pair! You'll love them!

Finally straight ... found
I am SOO sick of skinnies and bootcut - I wanted a simple, straight leg ... dark wash. I've been wearing ON "Sweetheart" but wanted to change it up. These fit the bill! I ordered like 8 pairs in ankle and ... one in reg length) in a variety of sizes surrounding my usual (lately been fitting into size 2). The size 2 and the 4 fit nearly identical, so I kept the 2 out of pure vanity. The 2 Ankle and 2 ... were EXACTLY the same - I measured inseam to inseam, rise to rise, and trying them both on I could not remotely see a difference. I waited until a sale to buy these - full price was a bit hard to swallow for me. So I took off a star for that. Oh: and these are the EXACT same ... landsend fit 1 ... meansured those on top of the identical 2 Ankles and 2 Petites - the only diff was the Gap pair has whiskering. Anyway, wearing them I had the feel of a skinny, without making my hips feel as huge. I think they will be slim enough to tuck into boots this fall.

To add to previous reviews, these are a great skinny ... very comfortable and flattering. I take a size 2 or 4 in Gap ... 2 felt too snug too me and the 4 a bit big. I opted for the 4 ... they fit well but do stretch quite a bit in the back waistband/rear. I agree with other reviewers in that the material to these ... thinner than usual, have more of a "worn" look and will probably not last as long as other Gap ... Although these are titled Real Straight, these are definitely a skinny ... tighter in the calf and are not really straight ... my opinion.

Pretty good
Overall, I like these jeans. I really like straight leg jeans on my ... pear shaped frame....I'm an at home mom so am in flats for day to day activities and bootcut make me look shorter and squat....and skinny leg accentuates my pear shape. Straight leg jeans seem to be the most flattering cut for me and they are hard to find. I am 5'3", 26 waist/35 hip and ordered a 2P and a 2A. The 2P fit me the best - they are a little smaller in the hip and leg than the 2A and the rear pockets were smaller on the 2P (the rear pockets on the 2A were completely overwhelming on me). The length was the same on both. So for those of you that don't like the large pockets.....if you are 5'4" or under, try the ... one thing I would prefer in these jeans is a countoured waistband - the front rise is fine for me but would love it if the back came up higher so I wouldn't HAVE to wear a belt. With this style, I have to wear a belt because there is a slight gap at the back and when I squat down (which I do frequently with two toddlers), I will expose more than I want to. If they had a higher rise in the back, they'd be 5 stars! It would also be nice for more washes....I tried the Mitchum wash, too, but the rise is MUCH lower on that one for whatever reason so will not keep that pair.

Just a little off for me
I actually really liked these jeans. But for my body, they were slightly off in a few areas: 1) length -- the regular length is too long, the ... length is too short. Instead of there being a 2-3" difference in the length of the 2 sizes, I wish it was just 1" difference (I needed a 30" inseam, not 29" in ... tried these jeans on in 2 regular and 2 ... me, the 2 ... fit my body pretty good but the length was too short. If only 1" longer I would have kept the ... I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs. Otherwise, the color is nice and the pockets look good too. Oh well....

Inconsistant fit
I'm a little baffled by these jeans. I ordered a sz 8 ... 6 months ago (my typical size) only to exchange them for the sz 6 ... after discovering they were too big. I got them, loved them, and still wear them constantly. Fast forward to April 2011 and decided to reorder in a sz 6 (but opted for the ankle length since the ... size was sold out.) I could barely get them over my hips/rear and zipped. Definately couldn't wear them out. The customer service rep I spoke to during the exchange said that the ankle is simply a shorter length therefore the fit should be bigger than the ... I'm not sure what to make of the situation. I'm hoping the sz 8 ... their way fit well. In terms of the coloring others have mentioned: the ... MUCH lighter wash while the ankle length were darker (as pictured.)

Gap make a good pair of jeans
ok these are my third pair of 0Petites that i had to order........let put the petites size in the store.all the jeans lately are i guess running a size bigger then you need ,,,,or should i say STRETCHS out to a size larger .The jeans fit very nice for about 1/2 hour and then they are all stretched out in the thighs,knees and bottom area....and i really dont think ... inseam should be 29 1/2 long.... I think i have gave up on the straight leg jenas made by Gap,,i went to nordstrom and bought a great pair of EASY MONEY ... CO, Good fitting and stays that way after wearing even a day... and they are also on Sale..................'Sterling' Straight Leg Stretch Jeans (Darkest Vintage Wash) (Nordstrom Exclusive).these do not come in ... lengths but since they are such Great made ... get them hemmed.Sorry!!! Gap i think you lost a ... buying customer..
