I've been buying Perfect Boot Cut ... Gap for years. They're not called Perfect for nothing! They're a good fit, they are versatile and they look great with boots —of course. The new straight leg ... not very flattering to many people, but Perfect Bootcut ... flatter everyone and best of all, they are coming back into fashion. Come on Gap, bring us some more colors and fabrics in this style! White? Purple? Red?

The perfect pair of ...
Bought these ... store recently. I'm 112 lb, 5'2. I bought a size 2a. They fit perfect, they look perfect, they are perfect for both work and casual wear. The color is a nice dark wash. They aren't too tight, they are a bit loose around the waist, but I can fix that with a belt. The best part, though, is the midrise fit. I can never go back to lowrise again after having these ... Midrise is just so comfortable around the waist, no need to worry about panties showing in the back!

Wonderful ...
I really LOVE these ... had to get a second pair. The ... fit great, they look dressy enough(I got the dark wash) and they covered up my "muffin top" so I looked nice and slim. The low rise ... doesn't give enough coverage. This one looks great without looking like your mom's ... cut is ... NOTE, I am a true size 6 but my legs are a little on the short side. I got the size 6 ANKLE size, the ... size 6 was a little tight for my hips. The regular 6 with an ankle length was ... GAP, KEEP MAKING THESE!

Love these ...
I always have a hard time finding ... don't squeeze the heck out of my waist when sitting... These are the first pair I've bought in awhile that actually feel good to wear! I've definitely got hips and a larger bust, but my waist doesn't nip in as visibly as some other women's do so if something fits me in the rear it's generally very tight around my waist. For reference I'm 5'7" 170 lbs and I ordered the perfect boot ... 12 reg. fit true to size for me, slightly long but only if I'm wearing flats so I'm not going to alter them. Great color, nice stretch so they didn't get baggy in the rear after wearing them all day. But for me, the best part is the waist & rise! The rise hits me about an inch below my belly button which is perfect for a thicker waist. Oh, and the wide waistband is super flattering as well! I would definitely buy these again. The darker wash is perfect for casual days at work and still looking polished.

I thought I had found the perfect ... me when I bought the Sexy Boot and then the Curvy ... bought the Perfect Trousers and was so impressed with their fit that when I saw the word "Perfect" in the new ... selection, I thought I had to give them a try. GAP chose the right word for these jeans. They are Perfect. The higher waist line helps to keep my hips from bulging over the top. Very flattering design for older ladies. I plan on buying this style ... here on out.

My Go To Jeans
I discovered this specific style of GAP jeans three years ago and no other pair has met my expectations since. I am now on my third pair and will definitely buy more in the future. Jeans fit is a highly personal thing, but, for me, as a short yet-curvy person of a healthy weight (though not "skinny") in her mid-20's, these are the perfect jeans. I usually find ... jeans ever so slightly too short and regular jeans too long--but the ankle cut on these jeans is the perfect lenght for me. It works well with flats and some lower heels. I do think this means, based on my experience, that they run a little longer in general. The dark wash is beautiful and very flattering. Can easily dress these jeans up. My flat butt, too, is flattered in these pants. I also often find the boot on jeans starts up too high for my short legs, but these fit slim through most of my calf and flair out at just the right spot. They held up OK. I don't think I ripped a belt loop, which is a record, but, like all my jeans, the material at the inner thighs eventually thinned and ripped. (After about 3 years, though, so that's not so bad.) The color does fade signficantly with time, so do wash inside out and treat well. I always air dry my jeans, and these were no exception. As others mentioned, the weird thing about these jeans, I found, is that one pair may fit slightly differently than the next, so do try on a few pairs to find you literal perfect pair. I bought my last two about a month apart and the newer pair was always a little tighter around the waist and hips. Not hugely, though. Anyway, I can't say enough positive things about these jeans. It's best to get them on sale, but they're a worthwhile investment either way.

THE BEST ... I''VE EVER WORN
These ... PERFECT. They fit me perfectly and I have a hard time finding ... because I have really long legs and a big butt but a flat stomach. Most ... if you have a big butt, they assume you have a big stomach too so the front is always too loose for me. But these ... PERFECT. I think it's the 2% spandex in them. They hug my curves in all the right places and make me look tall and thin with a nice butt, not thick and wearing baggy ... like most other ... make me look and feel. I seriously wear these almost every day and they go with everything. The only bummer is, based on these ... bought the light wash too, and they're not as perfect. I think they only have 1% spandex in the light wash and it makes a HUGE difference. Also they're cut higher, sort of like granny ... But the dark wash is THE BEST.

WHY don''t they make these in 0Ankle?
OK, first of all, my huge beef with Gap is they don't make 0 ankle in any of their demin styles. I went to a store today and they informed me of this. Really? Size 00 and 0 women don't have short legs? Are you serious? Really wish they would reconsider this. I happen to be a 0 ankle and am irritated I can't buy ... Gap - ... just a hair short and the rise is also too short. However, I do like the ... boot. Since Levi's stopped making my favorite two styles (525's and 535's) I have been trying to find on trend styles in my price range that aren't too low rise...but not too high! Such a fine line. I've tried plenty of brands and the ... boot and long and lean are pretty nice. My other beef is that these really stretch out a lot. I understand some give but when they stretch out 1 or 2 sizes during the day and give you saggy rear....it's so sloppy. I am 5'3" 113, pear shaped and have these in a 2A....the first few wears were great, just a tad big in the waist but after the third wash/wear, they've started stretching out so much more during the day. I'm going to try a 0 (and pay to have them hemmed - ANNOYING) and hope that helps.

I first tried these in the store in ankle length. I was between sizes - the bigger size was perfect in the hips and rear but too big in the waist...the smaller size was very snug in the hips but perfect at the waist. I decided to try a ... size and they are PERFECT...and the length is great. About 30" which allows me to wear a small heel or flats. My recommendation is if you find yourself between sizes in the store and are 5'4" or under, go with the ... larger of the sizes you tried in regular. I love that the ... all day long - I hate when ... get saggy in the rear and thigh after a few hours...they stretch out just a TINY bit, in the places you'd want them to. They also wash up great, no shrinkage. The only thing I wish is that the boot opening was more subtle...it's much more like a flare than a bootcut.

Great ...
These are great ... especially when you can find them on sale. I gave four stars because I wish the rise was a little higher (I'm almost 40). The waist is a bit low and a bit large, so a belt isn't perfect, but helps to keep the ... up so my thong doesn't show when I bend over. Overall, the ... slimming and flattering to the body. I'm only 5' 2" and I prefer the ankle length over ... sizing. I am not sure why, but the 30" on the ankle length was perfect compared to ... length (also listed at 30") in my size and a size up. I believe the ... size has a smaller rise, etc. These ... kind of give my booty a lift and it looks good from the side and back. Have not washed these yet, but hope they'll hold up. Nice dark color. Of all the gap ... these fit me best and were my favorites. Definitely would recommend.

In love!
I never write reviews but I just came back to the site to order more of these amazing ... saw the feedback. I am so surprised because many contradict my opinion greatly. I absolutely love these ... have to admit, I stopped buying Gap for me (still loving them for my kids) years ago due to the declining quality control and the ho hum designs. I found the ... particularly frustrating for many of the reasons people have stated: stretching while wearing, shrinking in the dryer, and short life cycle. So when I was in desperate need for a pair of nice long boot cut ... event, I reluctantly turned to Gap. These ... fit like they were made for me and have been washed multiple times and have kept their great shape. I absolutely love them - no weird feathering here! I am 5'10 and cursed with long legs and a high waist which makes finding that ... pair of ... don't produce a gazillion giggles out of my kids when I bend over and they meet "Cracky") a daunting task. I do appreciate reading the other reviews though and will prepare myself for the chance the next pair may fit a bit differently. But, with Gap's great return policy I am confident I will be able to exchange them for a pair with my ... fit. I love these ... so much it is worth the extra step.

Love The Rise
Most ... today are low cut and every year styles become tighter and tighter. I CAN BREATHE in these ... noticed the two buttons in the picture of the ... online and hoped that meant the rise would be at least a little higher than average and THE RISE IS HIGHER. I do not like skinny ... jeggings, so these are ... I'm 5'4 so I got the ankle length and they're ... think it helps when people add their measurements to reviews to help people with similar bodies choose sizes and lengths. I'm 140 lbs and I got a size 6 and they FIT GREAT. Also, just to add, I really like the 1969 collection. Awesome!

Great fit!
Love the ... Boot Cut. Unlike skinny ... fits real women. Never considered myself to be ... but at 5'6 it's the ... length.

Good enough
I bought these ... because I bought the dark wash of the ... boot and they are THE BEST ... have ever had. This pair however is actually different somehow. The waist raises higher, making me feel sort of like I'm wearing granny ... they don't have as much spandex in them as the dark wash pair so they get loose really fast. Seriously, after about 10 minutes, especially if I sit down and stand up, they're loose already. The dark wash holds their shape better and longer. Still, these ... really comfortable and I still get compliments on my butt looking good in them when they're loose so I still wear them and love them, just was disappointed to find they weren't as ... my other ... boot pair.

... Boot ... 1969
The ... run long. I usually order the smallest size from most stores and this is the first time the smallest size was too small. I ordered the XXS and reordered the XS which fit much better. I'm slim with no curves so these are ... me. However, I'm nearly 5'7" and these are quite long. I can wear them with ... small heel and they are ... but they would be too long for any flat shoes.

Great for wearing with lower ...
I'm 5'3", 110 lbs - so I'm always looking for bottoms that gives me a longer look, while not killing my curves. While I have no complaints about the fit in the waist/hips/thighs (Gap products have always fit me well in those areas), I always feel like I'm right in between the ... regular sizes for bottoms, 3" difference in inseam is a pretty big deal if you care about the ... length (I wear reg for tops). So I usually go try on/purchase the pair at a store in the reg size (most stores don't carry any petites) to wear with ... high heeled shoes. Then I usually purchase the same pair in ... accommodate my lower heeled ... flatter shoes/sneakers. Sometimes I have to move up a size for the ... version, as their waist/hip construction is a big slimmer as well. Overall Gap pants fit me well, and while it seems like the prices go up every year, the value is still acceptable for staple items like ... pants. Oh, and yes, I agree with the reviews that say the denim stretches as you move - so a slight tight fit after washing is actually a good thing, the tightness goes away in an hour or two of wearing.

... Boot ... (Light wash)
These ... really pretty. But I had first ordered the Long ones since I'm 5'11 ft. tall but they were way too long. I normally wear ... tall people but not this time. I then went to a Gap store and got them exchanged for relugar lenght which fit ... waist was lower then I expected but since they fit ... everywhere else I will keep them untill I find some with higher waist.

On the cusp of ...
I am just over 5'4" so it's a fine line between regular and ... me. These ... were the ... length to wear even with a heel. They really are cut smaller, particularly the rise so it's great if you truly are a shorter ... but for me this is closer to a low rise than mid rise ... also think if you are buying ... almost have to size up from the regulars.

The quality of these ... much better than other styles I've tried on. The only problem was the size of the waist and length. The waist flared out when I had them on due to the "higher" rise. I ordered a regular length and unfortunately the length was too short. I'm 5'10" and should have ordered long length but after reading reviews thought they would be too long. I won't be trying the ... boot style again, I do however love the sexy boot style. The rise and length is ... my body type. My only wish is that sexy boot came in different washes.

Not true to size at all!!!
I ordered the ... Boot ... replace my long loved "long and leans", however the size I bought for long and leans is not the same as the size I need for the ... boot ... disappointed to say the least, when I was excited to try a new cut of ... couldn't even get them buttoned. I like the wash color and the length and the overall appearance of them, just wish they would have more continuity in their sizes. I also think it was a huge mistake on Gap's part to discontinue the long and leans, forcing people to wear something they don't feel good in.
