Navy ... tough find for me and as soon as I saw these in the store, I had to try them on. They are very flattering and comfortable and are a really nice dark navy color. I do have to go down a size in Gap's dress ... opposed to Gap jeans, so watch for that. These ... stay in my closet for a long time to come.

... great for work - great to mix n match with other jackets. It's a true navy, which I'm finding hard to pair with shoes, but I think that's mostly because I typically buy black ... out of ease... Very comfortable; perfect for long days at work.

I wish ... came in 15 different colors! I have them in grey, black and this navy pinstripe. ... best wear to work ... have ever owned. I am 5'8 and I wear a size 16. Most of my weight is in my belly, my bottom and thighs are not big. ... so comfortable and so flattering. I feel like I look 10 lbs thinner in them. I buy the reg length and I do have to have them hemmed but I think it is because I only wear flats. They may be perfect with heels. ... do no wrinkle much at all and I am sitting most of the day in them.

I looked everywhere for navy dress ... ( My dad insist that i had to dress in navy for my interview). These were perfect. i looked very professional without looking like an old lady!!! The fit and style was perfect. I will never buy work atire anywhere else.

I have had the hardest time finding navy ... were long enough, so I figured that I would order ... see if they fit the same way my grey pair (that I got in store from an online return). I am glad to say that they are delightful, soft, and a medium weight so they can work in the spring, summer, and fall. The 10 tall fit me very nicely, and I enjoy how the higher waist works with my curvier form. Thanks Gap!

Perfectly Classy Lady
I love the perfect trouser ... They are dressy and classy. I can wear them to work and to church also. ... perfect for the curvy woman. They are extra long for those tall ladies who love to wear heels. The fabric is not too thin and does not cling to your legs when wearing hose. Gap please make ... more colors. I can honestly say that I would get every color. I have a black and grey pair and now the navy pinstripe. And for those extra tall ladies, there is enough hem in them to get that longer length, but it is not needed. I am 6'0" in my heels, and the ... cover my shoes nicely. I get them dry cleaned; haven't tried washing them. Keep up the good work GAP!! It is so good to know that there are classy clothes for the Christian women in today's world.

A Little Disappointed...
I had purchased ... same trousers in gray and black and were very happy with the fit, style and material so I decided to purchase the Navy pinstripe as well...while the feel of the material and the overall look/style of the ... were as before, it seems alittle snugger in the hips and tummy. I am not returning them but was a little disappointed that they were not as comfortable as the other two pr. of ...

Bummed
Slacks dont match the navy pinstripe blazer. I bought the grey pinstripe blazer and the grey pinstripe ... they matched so I guessed I assumed. That is a bummer about Gap. They often have blazers with no matching ... Really bummed.

too tight
I purchased this ... because I really like perfect trouser ... black and gray that I had bought before. Unlike my black and gray pairs, however, this navy stripe one is so tight and uncomfortable .Why? Are perfect trousers supposed to have the same design and sizing? It's a shame. I had to return the pair.

Awesome ...
I love these ... They are stretchy, but true to size. If you are between sizes at Gap, you could probably go to your smaller size. These ... fit beautifully, and the stretch makes them super comfortable. The stretch is subtle - just enough - the ... hold up and still look crisp at the end of the day. They are a little bit long, but I'm 5'3", so that is par for the course. Plus, you really should get ... hemmed to fit you and the kinds of shoes you wear. These are perfect basic for work. I only wish they came in khaki, navy, brown & white. I would buy all of them!

Favorite Work ...
I just cannot get over how much I love these. They are slimming, lightweight, and a great crisp looking fabric. Today is the first time I am wearing this particular pair (I have some True Straights in the thicker fabric, I like the new fabric better as it has a more professional feel) and they have not stretched out as of midday... which is my main fear with Gap bottoms (*cough* every peice of denim I have ever purchased here *cough*). I think I am going to get another pair or two today, although I will say I did not like the "seamed" style of these: somehow that little seam managed to make the whole ... less flattering, but it does come in navy which is nice... maybe would wear with a longer top as the hip area was the main issue. I am 5'9" and the 2 regular fits great, I have some very short heels on and the length of the ... hits perfectly near the top of the shoe (for reference: a 2 regular was roomy for me in the waist of the Perfect Trouser, if you have tried those on I would go a size up what they are... I also tried on the slim crop and the fit is very similar). Gap, please continue making these, it is such a wonderful feeling to know I can get my favorite work ... around $30-$40 (these are ALWAYS on sale, 40% off right now).

Please make these in more colors!
These ... perfect length, fit and size for me! I just wish GAP would sell them in more colors, especially grey and navy. They have a sophisticated, relaxed yet polished look that I love. And they're not loose or tight- just right. I'm 5'7" and about 118 pounds and the size 4 reg fits me just right.

Gap,I love these ... have them in grey, brown and navy blue. you guys need to branch out into more colors i.e. teal, yellow, red, mustard yellow, turqouse, green, orange, tan, fuschia and so much more. I would buy every color :) Thanks GAP

Truly Straight Pants
I love these pants so much that I've bought 6 pairs of them! I find it so hard to find pants that are truly straight. Pants these days tend to be either too skinny or too wide. These are perfect. They appear to be very well made and I love the material. This is one of the first reviews I have ever written but I want to encourage Gap to continue to offer these pants and maybe even to offer them in other colors, like navy, gray, cream. I would buy all of them. I have taken these ... my tailor and asked them to alter some of my other ... wider legs to match the legs of these ...

Heavier material than most and has good stretch. Most non wool dress pants are to thin for the winter and I freeze! I wish, wish, wish these came in other colors!!!! Not even a navy blue or dark brown, please guys...more colors!

nice but too long
I tried on these ... store and excited for slim fit dress pants...i'm over the wide legged dress ... work. I ordered them online when I saw some sales. The ... came and they are sooooo long! I true 2--not ankel, not long, just a regular length 2. Sadly I have to wear my highest heels or fold over the cuff to get these to fit.

Wonderful Work ...
I've been looking for Dress ... fit well (slims the body, kind of like the skinny jeans of the work environment) and this is pretty much it. (if it were any tighter, then it'd be inappropriate right?). Normally I am a Size 0 for Jeans. However, no Dress ... size seemed to fit, until I ordered the 00petite. It fits very well, albeit it being a tad longer. They are comfortable and I really value it for its fit and look.

Great ...
Very comfotable but look great for work or going out. A little long so need to wear heels, but that is what I would wear anyway. I wish they came in more colors I have two of the balck and would buy more if they came in gray or navy.

Wonderful dress ...
Gap never ceases to amaze me with their dress ... always comfortable and give me a clean ... am not super skinny, but fairly small but always want dress ... flatter my rear, hips and stomach. Gap's modern boot dress ... does all three. ... rise at an approach level and do not give me any lines I don't want. Best part- I can get away with wearing cotton underwear without lines showing. Highly recommend ... comfortable and classy.

Love ...
I love ... have several colors and they run true to size. The white ones seem to stretch out a bit when worn, but don't have that problem with the black or navy. To the Gap--- please please please always offer ... navy- I buy them for work, as navy is required and have turned on many of my co workers to them. We love them!!!!

LOVE ...
I wear a size 14 and I have a defined hour glass figure. I have large thighs, a big booty, and a very narrow waist (compared to my hip size). So finding dress ... properly and are comfortable to wear is ALWAYS a nightmare. And in my line of work, I have to wear black, uniform ... white blouse every day. We have our own in house department that sells all of our uniform pieces but the ... they sell are ugly and uncomfortable. Then, apparently, someone discovered ... Old Navy and they are the PERFECT shade of Navy that our uniforms use and they are so much more comfortable and they look absolutely stunning on every woman who wears them!! I got them today and immediately tried them on. I could not believe how comfortable and incredibly cute they are!! I cannot wait to wear ... every day!! I know I will look and feel good in them =) I am sooo thankful that ON makes ... my job allows them to be used for uniform!! If there is any question about whether or not you should get ... pants...GET THEM!! You will not be disappointed =)

I just received my ... love them. I have the hardest time finding dress ... actually ... am 5'11 155lbs and long wasted but never can find dress ... right. ... comfortable and look great on. The only thing that i would say is wrong is that i need an inseam of about 33 1/4 and the regulars are to short and the longs are way to long but I hemmed them up and ... look great. I will be ordering more!!

Great Work ...
I'm very happy with Gap's line of premium ... navy pair is no exception. I was looking for work slacks in navy and ... perfect light weight pair. I rely on Gap to make ... flatter my 5' 11'', 180 lb. frame and ... look great on my butt, don't sit too high or too low on my waist and the long length works for me in heels. Sometimes it can be a challenge for me to find slacks that aren't too tight on my upper thighs and luckily Gap's line of premium ... working for me on that front as well so far. I ordered a size 12L in ... very consistent with other size 12 bottoms from Gap. As added info I have found the perfect trouser and curvy ... also be flattering on me.

Excellent ...
... great ... I'm 5' tall and 105 lbs so I'm obviously petite, but actual petite cut ... bit too short, and regular is too long, thus ... shopping is tricky. So much so that I typically stick to dresses. I got ... size 2 ankle and ... perfect. I can wear them with a 2-3 inch heel, or fold the cuff (which actually looks cute to me) for flats. ... ride just above my hips so they're not cutting in anywhere, making them comfortable all day. ... also don't wrinkle easily - I just wash/dry mine and hang them up, and they're good to go. I also have pretty much no rear so while they're a bit loose in the back, ... still flatter without looking oddly deflated. I have ... black and the dark gray and get plenty of mileage out of them. Will be getting the ... - I hope GAP comes out with brown to round out my work wardrobe!

Color doesn''t fade, material is a bit thin so no the best for cold weather
I have ... navy and black. The color is consistent; the black doesn't turn into a navy color over several washes like some black ... do. I ordered a size up from the jean size I wear so it's not skin tight and looks more professional. The material is thin, and I get cold if I'm walking to someplace outside when it's chilly outside, but it can be good when you are indoors and you don't overheat. I'm 6'1" and about 140lbs and got a 6T, which is a little baggy and long but I can wear heels and my butt is not tightly on display. I'd recommend ... but when ... sale. way too expensive otherwise.

Nice ...
I really like ... very flattering and the color ... fabulous. I only wish the ... were 1 inch longer and ... would be perfect. I purchased petite. I would have ordered short if ... were a little longer in length. Short and petite are the same length which is odd to me. The proportion for the petite works well for a 5'3 but a little short with dress heels.

Nice but...
I purchased ... charcoal gray in the store and loved them. ... perfect ... length (regular), and texture. I recently ordered the same ... (regular length) in black and navy online and noticed that 1) although I ordered regular length and the tag says "regular" ... substantially longer than my other regulars, and 2) the texture is different. The texture of my gray pair feels strong, like ... quality made. The black and navy pairs feel much thinner, as if the fabric used is not as strong or as high quality. Having said that, ... look really good. I just have to wear them with high heels, which I wouldn't have to do if ... like a true "regular."

Love ... except ...
I got a pair of ... navy last fall - love them, except that they were soooo long! I'm always a regular length in ... had to hem ... 2" and ... still too long for flats. I wanted more, so I got the black ones about a month ago. The length is better this year - still long, but hemming wasn't necessary. Unfortunately, within six washings, BOTH metal tabs that hook the extend tab of the waist have come off in the dryer!! Instead of the metal pieces having a tab inside the cloth as my navy ones (and every other pair of ... metal hook tab closure) do, ... basically just have claws that are supposed to stay clamped to the fabric. ... do not. Still love the ... but I am taking them back to Gap to exchange and will check for ... cheap tabs on the replacement.

Great Khakis for an Updated Look!
To start, this review is for size 40x32 Slim Fit Tailored Khakis. You may have seen a similar review of mine on the Slim Fit Classic Khaki page, but I cannot say enough about how well these two styles of ... fit! As you can see, I’m not a slim guy and I don’t pretend to be one BUT I do not want to dress like an older man or someone who doesn’t care about what they look like. These khakis are a great update to the typical, over sized khakis that many men wear today – these are not your dad’s Dockers and are a much needed update to any man’s wardrobe. Similar to the Slim Fit Classic Khakis, if you are purchasing these ... sure to buy your true waist size (not ones that are tight around the waist). From the waist, the ... fit to be slender and hip hugging but not tight and the same fit goes into the thighs. I have bigger thighs and these ... fit like a glove. From the thighs down, the knees are a bit tailored to bring in the boxiness of typical khakis and the bottom of the leg is about the same size as the knee. The Tailored Khaki style is a little smoother and a tad bit dressier than the Classic Style but both are great! With other khakis that’s I’ve owned in the past, they have been very loose, very boxy, and do nothing to help my image (other than cover it up). These ... absolutely great and rival more upscale khaki brands such as Bonobos or AG Jeans (and this is the honest truth). I’m a big critic when it comes to ... because I want a nice fitting ... if you’re a bigger guy you know it’s hard to find ... updated and fashionable above a size 36 or 38 – Gap has done it with these ... buying a couple more pair.

Just right
I've struggled to find versatile ... fit me properly & finally found them. I workout ( including doing squats & deadlifts) so generally slim fit is outta the question as the rear and thigh area are too tight. Glad to know something's out there for me. PLEASE MAKE THESE IN NAVY!! I tried the classic khaki slim fit (in navy)and it was way too tight.

Pretty awesome
these are pretty ideal. I've only rated them 'loose in the rear cause I have zero butt.' For guys like me, I'd recommend the Tailored Kakhi Slim Fit over these, but these are still a must have for work. After trying these on once, I had to order the same pair in navy.

I bought these for work, was very worried about the fit since they are "slim" but they fit PERFECTLY right out of the box. I cant wait to buy another pair, wish they came in navy blue. My work closet will be full of these ... matter of time.

Yeah! They fit.
These ... truly thin yet still dress ... My teenager hates all the excess leg material typically found in men's khaki ... These were the first pair he was happy with. They are a little expensive for a teen but required for school.

My son is 6' 4" - 140 # these ... fit perfect for him being that he needed a 32 inch waist and 36 inch inseam. He needed to dress casual for his job and it was very difficult to find casual dress ... him. Thank you GAP. The only thing is - that he would like to see more color choice and the front pockets deeper to carry smart phones in, so they don't fall out when sitting. I would order again.

Love These ...
I can't say enough good things about these ... someone with an athletic build they are perfect - and show off all your assets. I have three pair. Dress them up with a shirt and tie for work, or dress them down with a polo for the weekends. Perfect!

This is my 3rd pair of Slim Fit Tailored Khakis. I am 6ft 8 and have a pretty large frame. I have serious issues finding clothing that not only fits, but looks somewhat fashionable, as I work at a younger company in NYC. These ... amazing. The waist is perfect: not too loose, nor too tight. It also has a fairly fashionable rise. Not too low, but not so high that the ... crawling up your stomach. The legs are really nicely tapered. They look good as casual ... regular, casual type shoes, but you can throw on a long sleeve, button down shirt and a tie and they dress up really well, also.I can't recommend these enough. I have bought them in every color I'd buy them in more colors, if they were available. Also, it would be great if they made some nice jeans in this fit. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Nice Fit
These ... fit great. They are tailored fit and seem skinny, but don't feel tight. Nice leg room. A little baggy in the rear, but that is common on alot of tailored ... Funny how that style starts with street gangs in the late 80's and makes it all the way to nice ... material is a little funky...hard to describe, but not as heavy as the regular Lands End khakis I buy. With a 50% off Groupon, I zeroed in on these ... could'nt be happier. I own several BR dress ... but these Gap ... easily slide into the wardrobe.

Really great dress ...
Surprisingly well made. Not always the case with GAP clothes and accessories, ... been a pleasant surprise. First, ... perfectly out of the bag. The construction would compete with a more expensive pair. ... bit more tailored to ... not loose -- ... definitely not tight. They've stood up to a cold water washing quite nicely and, even though I didn't get the wrinkle free version, ... didn't require any ironing after a cool tumble dry.

A+ School Uniform Chino
My tall and slim son will be required to wear khaki chinos as part of his high school uniform this fall. He is a fan of skinny jeans, but skinny chinos are considered inappropriate. He refers to most khakis as "dad ... most cuts ... too generously (sloppy) on his teenage frame. After reading the many positive reviews of ... ordered his dress ... size and ... perfectly! Although ... cut wider than skinnies, ... have a neat, trim, and professional appearance. He is so happy to have ... truly ... look "cool", and satisfy his school dress code. Thanks Gap!

Perfect ...
I have had other "tailored" ... but none have ... like ... am 6 feet tall and fill out the seat of my ... Generically I am a 34/32 ... varies on the ... Some too tight in the waist, crotch or butt. Some too short or long. ... me perfectly. . ... nice as any dress ... department store and ... better.

I have a pair of the khaki color, and ... very well and are true to a "straight leg" ... not too trendy (i.e. tight, skinny) but obviously a great tailored look that is highly desirable right now. ... dressy/traditional enough that I can wear them on casual days to work (legal office), but obviously not a dress ... can dress them down for a weekend or going out.

... awesome pair of ... flattering ... slim guy. I am 6' 155# 30/34 and ... well. I specifically purchased the ... blue as I can't find blue dress ... anywhere in my size, including Slim ... Gap. If ... were available in blue in Sim ... I'd buy them in that cut, as I find that cut is even more flattering. I own Gap Tailored Khakis in Slim ... tan and black and find ... bit better than the Straight ... me. But the difference is minimal - Sim ... cut is a 10 and Straight ... 9. Every slim built guy should be wearing Tailored Khakis by Gap. Trust me, you won't be disappointed...and neither will those around you who will notice your modern, flattering style.

Perfect for lanky teen
... tailored straight khakis are perfect for my 17 year old son. Hard to find a 30w x34l anywhere else. Because of the slimness of the style he's goes up a bit from his jean size. His jeans are a 29 waist. ... fairly low maintenance for khakis, although ... usually do need a touch up with the iron when ... come out of the dryer. He also own a pair in black and ... can be easily dressed up with dress shoes. Tried the classic khakis, ... baggier ... Advice to Gap: If you stocked ... teenage sizes in your stores, I could send him to the mall to learn to do his own shopping. He'd become a future Gap loyal customer.

Too Tight and Low
I was excited to see that Gap was offering a dressier, work appropriate khaki, but was disappointed by the actual product. ... tight and low slung which, in my book, automatically disqualifies them to be in a professional environment. It's hard to stuff your own legs and tail into ... slim ... tapered ... (think 80's), let alone the tail of a dress shirt. Though Gap alludes to a high quality material and fade resistance, the material it uses is quite thin and the color on the black one I ordered appeared faded from the start. ... no way worth the list price. If you must have one, wait for the clearance sale, which shouldn't be far off for this too trendy cut. Please Gap, for us 40-something professionals, bring back ... sit AT the waist (not below) and with a fuller (though not relaxed) leg!
