Favorite Undershirts
These are easily my favorite undershirts out there. They are super comfortable! They are a little pricey for undershirts, but they're totally worth it!

I got a pair of white Tee's, they fit awesome, are long enough to stay tucked in as undershirts (I'm 5'11" and bought a M tall) but look good and casual on their own and are a really nice fabric. I got them on sale, but think they were a great value.

Comfy shirts!
My husband absolutely loves Gap undershirts. They put the other brand I used to get him to shame and these are by far the most comfortable ones he wears. A great buy!

Meh
Other than the collar being stretched out and won't maintain shape, the material is soft. Thought I was buying high quality undershirts but turned out to be low quality T shirts. Did I mention the collar is terrible?

''As Expected''
I only have 2 stars because I'm totally out of phase with the rest of the world, on what I'd like in an undershirt. So here goes my rant on that: There only appear to be tissue thin undershirts, which have gigantic neck openings, available to sell in the free world. I'm sure I'll just have to wait another ten or twenty years and see if the clothing industry might make undershirts that are thicker, and have neck openings that are smaller so I don't feel like I'm going to a toga party every time I put one on. :)

T shirts could be better
I use the t shirts as undershirts and recently replaced my old Gap classic t's. These are thinner and the sleeves are way too short. Disappointing!

POOR QUALITY
I have no idea what Gap is thinking!!! I've bought these undershirts for my husband for years. The first wear is wonderful. They are soft and fit quite nicely. After the first wash, ALL of them ripped along the collar seam front and center! Every one of them!! Poor, poor quality. I thought it was just that batch so I ordered more and the same thing happened. I don't know how Gap expects to keep customers buying these tee's when they are making them with such poor quality and charging a fortune. Shame on you Gap for such a cheap product!

Not the same as before
They have changed these undershirts. I loved the old ones. These are going back asap.

What''s the Deal, GAP?
I have been buying GAP undershirts since highschool, so well over 15 years now. I have always worn size small, and they've always fit well. I just bought three packages of small T's last week and they are HUGE! They drape like large size. Bring back your old sizes!

disappointed
I've worn the black T's for several years now as my "go to" casual and undershirts. The old design fit just right but the collar would start to separate from the shirt after awhile though i didn't mind buying another two pack every couple months. Still, the new design is disappointing. The new collar seems to fix the separation issue because it's super wide. The shoulders go well past my shoulder line and the length is ridiculously long. I've tried washing and drying to get them to shrink a bit but it didn't work. I used to wear a small, so i went for an XS and it was just as huge. Wish I could find the old T's.

Underwhelming undershirts
These are some pretty underwhelming undershirts. They are too thin, too wide, and too long. Too bad they're going back to the store.

Nice quality undershirt
My husband loves these ... They're tagless, soft and long enough for a taller man. They do run a little large, so order down a size.

Very nicely made shirts, very soft cotton. A couple things to note: They do run a little big in my opinion, I normally wear L but I bought M for these. I had expected a tighter fit because they're undershirts, but they are sized more like regular shirts. Also, they run fairly long. For example, I had one of these (M) on with a V neck from Old Navy (L), and the undershirt was about 2 inches longer than the Old Navy shirt. I would prefer if these were shorter, but it matters more for me because I'm short. The 2-pack is a very good deal though compared to the individual V neck undershirts from other manufacturers. 4 Stars.

Nice fabric, too short
I needed some new ... work. I ordered a size down since reviews said the size ran big. So I ordered a M since my other shirts by Gap are L. Medium Fit is good for undershirt and fabric is soft. Minimal shrinkage after washing. Only 1 problem: they are too short for me to stay tucked in under my dress shirts. So I still wear them around to house, but I'm now searching to get some work ... long enough to stay tucked.

This could have been better.
I am glad that I purchased these on sale with a gift card. I expected better. The cotton is nice, but the fit is way off for an undershirt. I have a 37' chest and purchased size XS thinking these would fit snugly. I usually wear a Small or even Medium on some brands. However, even after shrinking in the dryer (why are these sold unsanforized?), they are not what I would consider an XS. Undershirts should fit more snug than a regular t shirt and these fit like a Small regular t shirt or maybe even a Medium, not XS. Gap sizing is notorious for being all over the place on garments. Also, the sleeves are strangely short and yet very wide, which makes for a very strange look. This does not match the garment photo being modeled on the packaging at all. I will still wear these since they're functional as undershirts, and one good thing is that they are long enough to tuck in and not pull out like some other undershirts. However, they would look odd and not have the proper fit for a shirt to be worn on its own.

Size down for undershirts
These undershirts are extremely larged. For comparison, I wear a medium in Hanes. I went down 2 sizes to XS to match Hanes. If you need a true size S, avoid these ...

The only undershirt my husband will wear
My husband is very picky about his undershirts and loves these. He is 6'2" and they are not too short (as many othesr after they are washed). Good fit, quality stands up even after daily wear and washing. Worth the price.

Great under shirts!
These are my husband's favorite undershirts. They wear and wash well, retain their shape and softness! Worth the extra money!

Undershirts that fit
My son needed close fitting undershirts to wear under his back brace and I was at a loss to find them. At 14 years, he is tall, yet still quite slender, so he doesn't fit regular man sizes or kids sizes either. Gap came to the rescue with the man's XS size. Thank you - it means a great deal for my son to look good!

Great quality, has last me quite a while.
I need more of these shirts, because they are outstanding! The stretch is just enough to fit snugly, but not so much that I feel constricted in my shirt. These are honestly my favorite undershirts because I can wear them with anything!

Don''t wash in hot water
Undershirts fit perfectly , quality is beautiful. Made the mistake of washing one in hot water and it did shrink.

Gap undershirts a great and softer than most. I ordered white, not grey, though.

It''s a good shirt.
I was reading some reviews about how the shirt material is too thin. To my understanding, undershirts are *supposed* to be thin because it is essentially for layering. So, having said that, the material itself is very comfortable. As for the fit, it is true to size. There is the expected shrinkage after washing, but the shoulders fit very well on me. The sleeves are a lot shorter than your regular T shirts. Since this is an undershirt, the shorter sleeves work well if you like to sometimes wear one under a short sleeve polo shirt. It would also be perfect, on its own, for the warm days here in Phoenix. Again, the thin material is not a bad thing. The one thing that prevented me from giving it five stars is the neck line: it is looser than what I would have preferred. I like it closer to my neck because I want a bit of the t shirt to peek out when I'm wearing a sweater or button down. Getting a smaller size would fix it, but it would ruin the other proportions. I wear an M.

wildly inconsistent
I purchased gray and black at the same time. The gray ones fit fantastically. (The sleeves are a little on the short side, so it may look silly if you plan on wearing these as a normal t shirt. As an undershirt, it's fine.) The black are way to big (even after shrinking a bit in the wash). Both are XS. The worst part is that I also have XS polos from The Gap and the black under shirts are so long in length and sleeves that they stick out from the polo. You would expect that undershirts would be a tad smaller than outer shirts FROM THE SAME STORE. So disappointing since these really are decent quality. I've been buying the stretch undershirts for a while. They can last for years but they vary in size depending on color and when you buy them. It' hard to want to take that chance on undershirts that cost this much.

Poor Quality
These are poor quality under shirts. They loose their shape quickly after a few washes and are not worth their price. I would recommend the undershirts from Express as a superior alternative for a only a few dollars more.

Poor Product
I would not recommend this product. I purchased this product for years and had not purchased it for several years because we relocated and we are rarely near a GAP. I decided to order on line and I wish I had my money back in my pocket. Nothing about this product resembles the version from a few years ago that I enjoyed so much. No part of the product is true to description. Very disappointing! It's a pricey error for undershirts.
