I love these shirts
These shirts are great! I am 6'1 and pretty fit but I have a long torso. Most shirts are made extremely wide when you get into XL sizes. Not so with GAP. The Large tall and XL tall fits perfectly, and I don't look like I am swimming in the ... anymore. I own 9 of these shirts in various colors. My only complaint is that they don't carry tall sizes in stores. If you are a tall person and you need clothes with more length but not necessarily more width......TRY THESE SHIRTS!

great tee!
i'm a tall girl and sometimes the women's ... too short, even the tall ones. i ordered this in a M Tall and it is the most comfortable tee ... ever. i'm sure guys love it, but it's great for ladies too. can gap PLEASE make the same thing for women? or just keep making this forever... in different colors... i bought every color and 2 of them just to make sure that i won't run out for awhile.

I ordered several of these t's for my husband who is an avid bodybuilder. I was concerned about the fit for his chest and shoulders. To my delight they fit awesomely well! The deep v in these shirts fit so well for him. Another plus is that the material gives so well. My husband loves them so much he wants me to order more! I would definitely recommend these wonderful ... shirts.

i actually own a airbrush company and was lookin 4 a v neck tee i could work all day in,wear under shirts,and pretty much do whatever i want in.up until i bought these i was buyin affliction ... because of the softness these surpass those by a mile and cost a whole lot less.my only complaint would b not enough colorss if there were id buy every1 of em rite now

Simply Perfect! These are better than BR''s soft wash ...
I have to say I usually only shop at BR but I happened to come up on these in store and lets just say they fit amazing I really hope gap doesn't change a thing about these shirts. To start off with they are the perfect length compared to BR's ... which are notoriously short and wide. And they are very slim fitting which is another major plus because they make your silhouette look very good with a pair of skinny jeans. The depth of the v is spot on its not outrageously deep like that of [...], but yet is not a small v either. Also these shirts wash amazing which in all honesty in not used to saying for most of BR's products, the neck doesn't loose its shape nor does it shrink up in length. These are vastly superior even to BR's new soft wash ...

Awesome fitted V neck!
Great V neck tee ... love the fit and also love the deep V which accenuates one's pecs without being vulgar (like American Apparel's).Perfect on it's own or under a fitted blazer. Please make this a classic item in much more colors and fabrications. Maybe even stripes!

EVERY COLOR!
I'm post partum, so regular women's shirts are not working & just fit irregular, I bought this ... every color! They fit super! I bought all ... size XL, i'm a full chest size 46", these shirts are perfect V & arm length, more colors Gap?! lol

As expected.
I just received my shirts today in the mail, so I can't speak to the durability or overall quality of these shirts. I did want to put in my 2 cents about the sizing. I like the look of these shirts and the colors. A previous reviewer stated that the tall sizes were really long. I decided to go with these anyway. He was right; these are super long. I am 6'4, 210 lbs. these were well below my waist line. Normally, I think I'd return them. However, I also wear my pants pretty baggy, so these are a nice fit to my wardrobe to replace some of my baggier shirts. I also like the deep v neck. Another reviewer had also mentioned that the ... cut down to his nipples. This was not the case for me. The bottom of the V came to about at least 3-4 inches above my nipples. I didn't find it to be as low cut as a Jockey V neck undershirt, if that helps at all. I think I'd consider getting a couple more but in the regular large size, not the tall large that I purchased.

Good Deep V overall :)
I am thankful that Gap has tall sizes in shirts, since it is so hard for me to find shirts long enough. I'm 6 foot 7 inches tall and mostly all torso. This ... definatly long enough for me to tuck in, on days that I want to. Plus I love deep V's. This deep V definatly ranks high, just like American Apparel's deep V's.

very comfortable - I am 6'2" 190lb 42"chest 33" waist and M Tall is a good trim fit works well under dress or sport shirts that one isn't buttoning all the way up

Deep V
Love this deep V neck tee. Just what I was looking for. The Tall size is a bit long for me, and it gets a bit baggy after a while of wearing it. There is really no need to get the tall size unless your 6'7 or taller. I'm 6'3 and it hangs around/below my waist. I'm still keeping the ... make a nice addition to my casual wardrobe. I wish more stores sold this style of V neck ...

Nice Tee!!
I ordered a couple of these for my husband. He's a big guy- and the XXL Tall fits him perfect. It's a fitted tee- lightweight and very soft. He loves these shirts! I will definitely buy more. One thing you should know, I bought the Cosmetic Pink which is actually like a dusty rose color. The color is very pretty, but it's really not pink. We kept this ... anyway, and it looks great on my husband. Overall, very pleased with these shirts!!

Super Tee
I got this tee for bf in black and white. So far they are as described- have washed and been worn once though, so only time will tell if they stand up to 'wear and tear'. Super soft and comfortable. They are thin, but that's good. I would recommend GAP.

Finally, GAP got its ... right!
I think people are responding to this new Tee as a replacement to the Classic ... It's not in my opinion. The Classic ... much heavier weight (which has its pros and cons too -- try wearing that Tee to the gym.) This new 'Best ... replacing the previous generations of thin, more what I'll call 'fashion Ts' that had sleeves cut too short and necklines that would fall apart after 2 or 3 washes. The new 'Best ... nails all categories just right: perfect sleeve length, body length, chest and shoulder cut. And it holds up in the wash -- the necks are still perfect after an entire summer of wear still falling flat, not easily stretched and retaining their shape. Impressive to see GAP respond to this need -- I thought I was the only one who wished for a better constructed ... I'm surprised so many here are posting negative reviews.

To Each His Own
At lot of these reviews are complaining about these shirts being too small and the material being too thin - I disagree. I think many people just aren't used to the new style of tee, the type that is being produced by other companies like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel. However, I prefer this new Gap crew neck. It is a reasonable size when it comes out of the package, and I even plan on shrinking these in the wash so that they're a bit more fitted. The thinness has nothing to do with cheapness; I think a better way to describe the material is that they're stretchable. I am pleased with my purchase.

Comfy
Nice soft tee, comfy as an undershirt or for everyday. Can see myself wearing this one for a couple of years, so it's a great deal.

it''s a decent tee ...
it is a perfectly normal tee ... save for being a little softer than most. i had thought it would be thicker fabric, but the fact that it is not is not a defect -- it does not feel flimsy, just lightweight.

It''s All about the COLOR
I recently got boardshorts @ GAP 'n this tee matches nicely. Can't go wrong, esp @ the sale price.

Husband loves!
Nice tee, very soft. Husband loves them. Slimmer fit. Definitely more of a fashion tee and not a hardworking basic. Some great cool colors like the dark purple and brick (not the right names). Bought six on sale.

Looks soo good on my man:)
I bought 1 in virtually every color for my fiancé. All he use to wear is plain white ... dark dress jeans and black dress shoes... Now he actually wears color thanks to these ahmazing ... shirts! They are a perfect fit as he is very particular about his ... shirts and he literally wears them everyday... So as you can imagine they go through the laundry at least once a week and still look great. Not only that, but they are light weight and the v neck is a perfect depth, which are the qualities he looks for in a ... Thanks Gap for hitting a home run this summer! Please come back over and over again with this tee in more colors too!! We will be back for more.

Awesome shirts!
For the past few years I have been a loyal follower of Gap Tees. I have not been able to find a better and more comfortable fitting tee anywhere. I buy around ten at a time and wear them all out. I buy both the crew neck and the v necks tees and they have no equal at any other store!

I have this tee in several colors. Although labeled a mans shirt it is really cute v neck that blows the v necks made for women out of the water.

I just want you folks to know, I LOVE THE DEEP V shirts from Gap. I only wished that the size i need was sold in the stores. Here in Hawaii 2XL is really really needed. Im a very athletic guy that spends much time in the gym and so my upper body needs to fit a ... material of these shirts are soooooo perfect, they are cool, light and breezy. It fits like a 50 dollar ... plan on buying tons more of this style. GREAT price i truly cannot show my happiness for these. Thanks so much. Aloha.

Nice Shirt
It's a great ... thin, soft feel and nice color selection. The tshirt is a little big though..I normally wear M but went for the S and I probably could have gotten by with an XS. My only real complaint though is that the ... too long. Granted, I'm relatively short, but this tee is longer than most others I own. Side note: always go with v neck.

Gotta give GAP their props
This is the first time I've written an online review lol, and I've been shopping and selling online regularly since 98'. But I'm a huge tee shirt buff and I have come to truly appreciate a good fitting and well made tee shirt. GAP nailed it and I have to give them their props. I have a very athletic build and I dont like shirts that fit too tight; nor do I like shirts that hide the hard work I put in the gym :). GAP is a great balance....the best fit I've gotten yet however is the new PIMA COTTON tee by Banana Republic. I'm not gonna even dry those bad boys they fit and look so great. They are the most affordable pima cotton tees on the market I've seen...too bad they r only in white. Ooops...I guess I'm doing the wrong review.

recently bought a bunch of ... several colors and the white one is the best by far! It fits well and the cotton is more sturdy than that of the colored ... All the colored ... bigger and too soft, they loose there shape after one wash. Still looking for the best tee!!

Not so great...
Ladies, if you are shopping for your Big and Tall man...(emphasis on Big) than these shirts are probably a miss. My boyfriend wears them as undershirts due to the thin material. This is a great look but I have found that the shirts don't truly hold up to my guys level of wear and tear. Holes have appeared in various parts of the torso area and seams have unraveled after only a few weeks. Then again I would never pay full price for this item, I've only purchased them on sale. And one other thing: if you have a larger midsection I would definitely, definitely opt for the Tall. I got my guy the 3x but realized afterwards that I would have preferred the 3xT to ensure that shrinkage would not prevent these from being wearable as a top ... They shrunk considerably length wise but at least they still accommodate my guys massive shoulders. I will say that he does get a lot of use out of them as undershirts though. The colors are nice and the material is soft. Just don't expect amazing quality.

I kinda like it
I am a woman and purchased a few of these for the gym. I was looking for an oversized shirt that would drape well. These drape okay...but the bodice is a little narrower than I would like. It is not slim fit, but it is not super roomy either. I'm not really truly delighted with the fit, but the fabric is very nice and soft- even softer than the supersoft tee. The fabric is just a little thicker than the supersoft, but I feel with continued use, it will conform to my body and fit better.
