Nice under shirts
These are nice worn under other shirts. I like them in gray or white. They hold up well. My husband likes them. Nice shirts.

Great basic.
I never realized how hard it would be to find a good undershirt for my boyfriend but these are a winner. They are the perfect weight to wear under work shirts but look nice enough to wear alone too with jeans. Super soft and the fit is perfect. They shrunk just a little bit but they stretch and the fit is great.

great shirt
My husband is addicted to these shirts. He has black, grey, crew neck, v neck... you make it we buy it. He is a 5'11" muscular guy and wears a small that is still not really tight. The shirts are comfy and light weight for summer but buy a size smaller for a truer fit.

Should be available in bulk!
These are the only tees my husband will wear under his other shirts. Every year I get him some for Christmas and his birthday and he never seems to have enough. I've tried other shirts but he won't wear them. We never seem to have enough! I wish they sold them in bulk--he absolutely loves them.

Great Shirts
My husband loves these shirts. The GAP undershirts are the only ones where the seam doesn't go crooked after a few wears.

Great pruchase as always
I like these shirts, they are bit long, but with time after couple of laundries it will be fine. The fabric is very soft as always and it's nice. The style is white casual you can go with it with any clothes you want, I usually wear these shirts under the dress shirts to work and the feeling is great and on the afternoon when I came home and become me, I wear it with jeans and snickers. I absolutely love the softness of these shirts, and they hold up well in the wash. My only complaint is that I can't wear it alone as a regular t shirt because it's a bit too long in the torso and short in the sleeves. But I guess that's because it's made to be an undershirt, so it's long enough to stay tucked in and the sleeves are short enough to not stick out from under your top layer. Overall, I'm a fan of these shirts.

Nice shirt but oddly long
I ordered these shirts for my husband in black, grey and white. They are a nice material and fit well thruogh the chest/arms but the length of the shirt is VERY LONG. He is an average height about 5'11 so I think these shirts would work better for a taller man. He wears them anyway so I would still recommend these shirts for you if you are taller than my husband!

Not as I expected.
I've purchased a 2-pack of short sleeved crew shirts (black) in the past and I loved them because they were thick, fit snugly, and did not shrink or wear thin over numerous washes. This was about 2 years ago. Then I go on the Gap website about 2 months ago to see that these shirts were on sale for super cheap[...]However, when I received them and wore them, they felt just like any undershirt I could buy at a lesser store for $10 cheaper (and would include 4 more shirts). I was very disappointed, but I did not want to go through entire return process in the mail.

Bad neckline
The neckline on this T shirt ruined an otherwise good fitting shirt. The neckline is way too big. A crew neck should hug the base of the neck not reach down to the clavicle

Bring back the old shirt
I bought these for my husband and it seems they are different from previous undershirts. The neck was much larger than his previous shirts and he did not care for them. I returned the shirts and confirmed the change with a sales associate. Bring back the old style and we will be buying them again! Thanks!

Perfect undershirt
I read a recommendation to use these particular heather grey, v neck shirts under dress shirts in place of the typical white ... shirt/tank top. I ordered one size smaller than my normal size, which was also recommended, and I agree that this is the perfect shirt for that purpose. They are barely visible under my thinner dress shirts and they are extremely comfortable.

Size
The ... nice but run big. I wear a large tank top but had to get medium ... Otherwise great shirt.

Nice!
Simple cotton shirt that feels really great. The sleeves are a bit shorter so they won't be peeking out of your polos and short sleeve ... material is really soft compared to Hanes and Nordstrom brand undershirts. The "weight" is heftier than Hanes and lighter than the thicker Nordstrom branded items. It is a bit more fitted especially around the shoulder area. They are longer in length than the Hanes ... same as the Nordstrom brand.

Very nicely made ... very soft cotton. A couple things to note: They do run a little big in my opinion, I normally wear L but I bought M for these. I had expected a tighter fit because they're undershirts, but they are sized more like regular ... Also, they run fairly long. For example, I had one of these (M) on with a V neck from Old Navy (L), and the undershirt was about 2 inches longer than the Old Navy shirt. I would prefer if these were shorter, but it matters more for me because I'm short. The 2-pack is a very good deal though compared to the individual V neck undershirts from other manufacturers. 4 Stars.

V neck undershirts - nice, but big
These shirts are nice, but way too big! I used to buy Gap undershirts in size medium. After reading the reviews here stating that these have become over sized, I decided to buy these in size small. I'm glad I did. Indeed these shirts are way bigger than you would expect. Even the small comes all the way down past my butt. I might try XS next time. But not sure how well they would fit in the shoulders. I wish the GAP would go back to their old sizing. I can no longer buy anything from the GAP with long sleeves, because they will be much too long. Mind you, I've been shopping at the GAP for more than 25 yrs, and never had a problem with shirt sizes before. Now, I can only buy short sleeved shirts, ... shirts, and undershirts.

A Nice Undershirt
I received a two pack of these T shirts today and based on previous reviews I was wondering whether I'd be getting an ill fitting tent of a shirt, since I bought my regular size. However I'm not sure if Gap has changed the cut since the other people reviewed theirs, but these fit me just fine and aren't as large as one would be led to believe. The length is a little longer than a regular ... shirt but considering this is meant as an undershirt to be tucked in under a button down shirt, that's actually a good thing. The depth of the V neck is nice, just deep enough to help avoid being shown underneath a regular shirt. Fabric is nice and soft, and a light weight cotton perfect for an undershirt. I bought a size Small (my regular size), and the dimensions of the ... shirt laying flat are: Chest=19", Waist=19", Shoulders=17", Length=28", Sleeve length=7.5" from shoulder seam to hem.

Fits like a ... glove that is too big
I bought this shirt because I figured it'd be decent enough quality for the price, and because it had a deeper V for use under dress shirts. Both of these aspects are fine ... but these ... just way too long. Yeah they are a little big in general, but the length is the key problem. I just need to tuck this into my pants, not my socks ...

Wayyy oversized
I got this for my boyfriend and thankfully followed the suggestions in the previous reviews. He usually wears a size medium in ... he wears mediums in ... sweaters from GAP. I got these undershirts in size small and they were still pretty loose on him. The v is deeper than usual and the shirt was extra long. After a cycle in the wash and dryer, it shrunk to a good size. GO A SIZE DOWN FOR THESE ...

They''re just ok...
The ... surprisingly slim compared to other tops from Gap that I've purchased. But unfortunately they are extremely long. I am a pretty average height of 5' 11''. I washed and dried them before ever wearing them and even after that, the ... were too long. I have to tuck them in which immediately turns it into an undershirt for me. Every other aspect of the shirt is good though.

I''m surprised at how unflattering a black shirt can be
I bought a pack of these shirts a few years back, and I loved them. They are the perfect length and the fit is perfect. I decided that it was time to finally buy more as they have faded and show the signs of heavy use while in the studio. I was so excited to get the new shirts that I considered changing into one to wear out of the store. Turns out I should have done just that. I got home and tried one on. It looks like I'm wearing a short dress as the shirt comes down to the middle of my thigh. I am not a short man by any means. It looks sloppy and makes me look oddly lumpy. Since I had previously purchased the same shirts I compared the length. The newly purchased shirts were a full five inches longer than my old ones! I understand that over the years the old ones may have shrunk, but five inches? Either The Gap is inconsistent with their production or their product goes through extreme changes over the course of ownership. Whichever the case may be the implications of either are not good.I will probably exchange them for a smaller size, because I had such a wonderful experience with the first shirts I bought, and I know that at some point these shirts were made to last. I would just prefer that my real size be shown as opposed to one that is meant to make me feel better about myself, because now I have to go back to the store to fix something that should have never been a problem from the beginning.

WAAAAAY too big.
I love Gap for having XS as an available size. Their dress ... fit fantastic in this size. Which is strange, because this undershirt is BIGGER than even their small dress ... Why would I want an undershirt that's baggier than the shirt overtop? They are overly long, too--for tucking in, sure, but these come down to the crotch. Too long. Can't be worn outside of the pants for fear of looking like an idiot. WHY WHY GAP? The excellent undershirt is an area you should OWN. I would wear Hanes before this ridiculousness. For what it's worth, the material is nice. Soft, lightweight.

Please don''t DISCONTINUE this shirt!
I bought the FIRST stretch tee at a yard sale this summer and my husband LOVED IT! He said, "I need MORE of these! I want to wear them to work every day!" He likes to wear his clothes SNUG and they are that--if you like a looser ... buy a LARGER SIZE. But PLEASE don't discontinue making these ...

Great quality, has last me quite a while.
I need more of these ... because they are outstanding! The stretch is just enough to fit snugly, but not so much that I feel constricted in my shirt. These are honestly my favorite undershirts because I can wear them with anything!

Very nice shirt but it could be better.
I've bought crew neck stretch fit ... past and they serve me well, these latest are no different the fit was good, very comfortable, and I also like that I had two for the price of one. The Downside..,,? the sleeves are a little short and there are not enough assorted colors, please GAP take this into consideration add more assorted colors to the stretch fit ...

Still a fan - Always a fan!
I have read a lot of these reviews that complain about the poor quality and I agree. The old Gap stretch T's were great. Much thicker material. I was disapointed at first then learned to fall in love all over again. I generally wear XL ... but I get these stretch T's in L. I wear one of these Stretch T's everyday of my life. I wear it under other T's or under my dress ... work. People complain about the sleeves too short - I love them. When I wear another ... over the stretch ... - the sleeve doesn't stick out or flap in the wind. I tuck the stretch ... into my underwear (I know - weird), but I can stretch and play around all day and my stretch ... never going to become untucked. I buy 6 at a time and they generally will last me 6 months with EVERYDAY wear.

not as good as the old version
We miss the stretch ... were told at the store locally, that this was the same shirt, just repackaged for easier sale. It's not. It's thinner, and doesn't wear as well. Won't be able to use these for daytime wear (will just keep to sleeping in them). GAP: If you can hear your customers, we want the stretch crew neck ... back...in black, white, gray and a few colors, please! No pockets, and thicker than these ... Uggghhh. Why don't companies listen to the paying customer anymore? Saving money shouldn't be a company's only quest. Now, we're on a quest to find our tshirt somewhere else.

a bit too long
these shirt feel nice, I like how they're new material, but they're a bit too long for me, this is coming from someone who has to resize his size small ... though. Overall, I'll wear these when in the house chilling. More comfort than style for me, I wanted more of a tight shirt I could wear under

wildly inconsistent
I purchased gray and black at the same time. The gray ones fit fantastically. (The sleeves are a little on the short side, so it may look silly if you plan on wearing these as a normal ... shirt. As an undershirt, it's fine.) The black are way to big (even after shrinking a bit in the wash). Both are XS. The worst part is that I also have XS polos from The Gap and the black under ... so long in length and sleeves that they stick out from the polo. You would expect that undershirts would be a tad smaller than outer ... SAME STORE. So disappointing since these really are decent quality. I've been buying the stretch undershirts for a while. They can last for years but they vary in size depending on color and when you buy them. It' hard to want to take that chance on undershirts that cost this much.

Kind of Suprised
I did read everyone else's reviews about these ... but for some reason I just thought no one knew what they were talking about, so I bought 2 packs of grey, two white, two black. For the amount of money I spent on these ... am not that happy. I had two of the old style grey ones from about 6 yrs ago and I loved them but I needed knew ones. I bought the same size as I had previously (I am 5'9 and 160 lbs) which was a L. The legnth of the shirt doesnt make sense and i have no idea why the sleeves are so short. Who designed this shirt? lol. I wear them under my work clothes but if they fit you they would be nice to wear out, except the white one tho b/c it is basically see thru. The ... extremely thin and i don't think they will last a long time which is why I am annoyed they were so much money. Now that I washed them the chest is too tight especially under the arms and the sleeves. I am not an XL so I honestly don't think they are sized properly and most of the time in ... am a Medium. I never shop at GAP and I dont like anything they sell but I do wear these ... dont think anyone makes stuff like this except maybe UnderArmor? Hope this review was helpful.

Disappointed
Hoped these ... which are advertised as layering pieces, and which are advertised as stretch cotton with spandex, would fit better than they do. I ordered a medium to fit a 42" chest and 16" neck. The placement of the seam on the shoulder is OK (it's actually a little small in the shoulders), but the shirt is loose in the chest and much too loose below the chest. Didn't expect they would be skin tight, but didn't expect they would be loose, even after washing. The biggest disappointment is the neck opening which is too big, sits so low, and fits so loosely, you can't even see the neck opening when I'm wearing an open collared dress shirt. Given the lack of fit, these ... not a good value for the money.

Was once great but now just okay... If even.
Years ago I would buy these ... bulk because they were great! Yes, they were once great. At that time they were considerably thicker, they were substantially better quality, and they were much less expensive. Since then gap has made obvious changes to this product, changes which contradict anything sensible or that of practical from the perspective of a consumer. However, I continue to buy these stretch ... regardless of their being poorly made, simply because there is nothing similar available in a 'stretch' anywhere else. As for my use, I generally wear them until they tear apart, which sadly takes only a few months of random cycled use... Use that would be deemed, normal. Hence I would not recommend this product to a friend, or to anyone for that matter, unless of course you are just as easily frustrated by the general aspects of a 100% cotton regular fit ... shirt.

Wow!
Sadly, I have written other reviews of this product expressing my disappointment in the overall quality. Since my last review I have taken advantage of their spring sale and have again purchased more of these ... go through them quickly. My use of this product is typical. However, the quality of this product is so poor that they eventually either fall apart (develop holes or thinning) or they loose their essence (that being the stretch and sizing). When gap first began selling this shirt they were incredibly durable and frankly, awesome... The best ... ever. Since then they have changed the sizing, the fabric has gotten thinner and thinner, the quality between one shirt to the next has noticeable differences, and the price has gone up and up while they attempt to justify it by packaging them in two. Once again I am amazed by how horrible this product is. The price has yet again gone up, AND the ... now unbelievably different from shirt to shirt (purchased 3 packs of 2, 6 ... not two being exactly the same. Where is the quality control?!?! I literally use some as rags without even having first worn them. But here I am buying them again, only because no one else makes a 'stretch' ... Seriously, whatever gap was doing 5 years ago with these, they were doing it right. Now, just inconsistent, expensive garbage.
