2nd pair
I like the ... 1969 straight jeans...not too tight, but not baggy at all. Depending on your work environment, these ... (dark blue)can go to work and can even be dressed up with a sport coat. Good value and highly satisfied.

Just Right
I initially got the skinny ... found them to be too tight around my upper legs. I have an athletic build so that was a problem for me. The Straight Fit ... can be compared to an athletic fit cut for shirts. Feels almost tailored. These are not remotely loose but they're also not stretching around your skin like the skinny's (I could barely crouch down in those things). Also, the classic blue color is uncomplicated and like it's called "classic". No whiskering, fake fades, etc. Makes them a great pair of ... wearing casually or dressing up with a sport coat. I'll be buying another pair in the future.

Great dark denim
I really like the latest Straight ... very much an updated ... without being an absurd Skinny jean. The wash is also great. No distressing or whisking to make it look like kid's ... Just a nice, solid, rich dark blue. The denim itself is the coarser, thicker Gap denim. But it will soften up over time.

Good ...
I was excited to purchase the ... because I usually wear only straight ... loved the wash and I like the modern look. When I tried them on, the rise was quite low.... I was a little upset, but they'll do.

A little big
I have several pairs of the new Straight ... different washes, and sizing has been very consistent. This particular jean however is much looser around the waist and slightly larger overall than my other pairs. I did notice that this jean is manufactured in Guatemala and my others were made in China, this clearly accounts for the variance in size. I tumbled them dry thoroughly and this helped shrink them a little, but I suggest you try them out in a store before ordering online. You might want to consider going one size down. Otherwise this is a great looking jean and the fabric is very substantial.

LOVE THE WASH
I do love the wash but the waist runs too big. I need to get a new one. I wear 30 waist, but these ... bit bigger than the other straight ... Anyway, overall is great.

Wrong Wash
Be beware if you have already owned these ... before. Yes, I already have a pair of these stunning ... order to keep me with them, I decided to get another reserve pair in case if GAP does not have these in the future. BUT, OMG, these just arrived Straight fit ... (classic dark blue) are not what I have before. The wash is not the classic dark blue but a kind of dark resin rinse or what ever similar to. Need to return immediately.

Did not fit in the rear area as portrayed. Too baggy. I hoped these would fit like the GAP 69 Original straight leg ... purchased online before. A little disappointed.

Gravely disappointed
For a company that prides itself on their ... Gap should be embarrassed. This is the second pair of straight fit 1969 denim I've purchased. The first I had for just over a month before the crotch wore completely through. I purchased a second (fool me twice) and within TWO WEEKS I had the exact same hole in the new pair. Keep in mind that these ... were never put through anything more than normal daily wear. Will never purchase another denim product from Gap and recommending Gap ... someone is about as low on list of things to do as anything can be. Don't purchase.

runs big
I bought this along with another pair of straight fit ... Straight fit ... dark wash matterhorn) for my dad for xmas. This pair fit so differently and so much looser you would have guessed these were a totally different style. You should size down in this jean...

Not a true straight fit
So I bought GAP straight and standard fit. As per the description, I was expecting the only difference to be the rise of the jeans, one being lower than the other. However, the straight fit jeans are way off. First, the rise is way too low. It looks like women's jeans. Second, the leg opening is tapered -- a good 3" in circumference smaller than the standard fit. Third, the leg is tight, and not straight at all. These jeans feel more like a skinny fit (slightly roomier than spandex fit). These jeans are for the super skinny guy.
