Great Fit
This shirt looks awesome, a true slim fit shirt.

For one, the ... very nice and fit very great! I got the new vineyard, black, and white and the fossil blue still on it's way. The only one i was a little off about was the New Vineyard one... I didn't really know what color it was or what would match with it. When I got it, it looks more like the same color the joker wears in the Batman Dark Knight Movie. So it's pretty slick. It looks great with some dark blue jeans or black. I love it. [...] i got very frustrated when my black shirt had a fold wrinkle on the color because of the way they put it in the bag. It's so annoying! WHY THE COLLAR!!! couldn't they have wrinkled another part that is easy to ignore??? It pokes upward when i put it on. I don't want to return this shirt just for this and it's not worth paying MORE money to dry clean it. So I tried to iron it straight and it worked mostly but now there is like a burn shine on one collar. I can't ignore that because when you pay that much money for a shirt, you should get your money's worth. If it was at a low clearance price I wouldn't care. Now I have to return it and HOPE they are careful when they send me a new one. I can't come down on the stars because the ... deserve five stars, it's just the way they pack things that really can ruin your gift. If it was a casual cotton shirt, it wouldn't matter, You can just iron it and it's fine because it's like a T shirt. These dress ... different. It's such a nice shirt, but i have to wait for it to be delivered again. TOTAL BUMMER!

Finally I can wear long sleeves!
Great dress shirt for tall guys! I'm 6'6" tall and the sleeves are perfect and my shirt stays tucked in all day. Plus it can be dressed up or down. The stretch fabric is perfect, since it will contour the body slightly.

GREAT ... EXCEPT FOR ONE!
So I bought all the nice colors which are sportscar blue, blue river, optic white, true black, new vineyard, and fossil blue. They are all nice colors, but it looks like FOSSIL BLUE is ladies choice. I tested both from the gap lady on the phone and a friend of mine. Fossil blue seemed to be their favorite and it's true. When I wear it, I can see women's eyes land on me and I just smile when they do and they smile back lol. They are all nice. I will say one thing is that the blue river shirt is very nice, BUT the collar and the sleeve wrist are big. The length is fine, but the collar and the sleeve opening is about and inch too big. I can easily slide my hand in and out VERY easily from the sleeve because the opening is so loose. I don't really like that. I still keep the shirt because I love the color and generally it fits okay, I just wish it fit like the other ... One more thing I will say about the sportscar blue. I just got it today and it does not look like the picture. It's not really that bright of a purplish color. It's much darker. It's looks like dark blue and dark purple mixed together. They would look okay with dark wash jeans. So these are very nice comfortable ... except for that blue river one. It's fits, just the openings ran big so i can't tell you to go a size down because if you do, it might make the openings smaller but it will shorten the length of the shirt and your wrists will show threw and it will look too tight. So it's not the fit, just the odd collar and wrists. Well, I hope I was able to help. :)

So close
For reference, I'm 6 foot, 170, athletic build. I've been trying to find a truly slim fit / fitted shirt for awhile, and snagged a MEDIUM, "optic white" on sale to give it a try. Quality wise, it's about on par with a lot of other ... under-$50 price range you'd find at [@], etc., perhaps a little on the cheap feeling side, but not by much. Fit wise it's really close. I wear a 16 or 16.5 neck, 34/35 sleeve dress shirt. This shirt is a great slim fit in the chest down through the waist. Sleeves are probably a touch under 34, but the still work fine for me. The neck is where it just misses the mark. It's probably around a 15 neck, maybe 15.5, and it's just too small for me. It's a shame too, because it's such a great fit otherwise, and the quality is good enough I'd wear it with a suit, but without a properly fitting neck, what's the point. I can still wear it without a tie, top button undone though, and it looks great. I have CK, DKNY slim fit ... were about the same price, and I'd wear this one over those EXCEPT for the neck issue.

Nice Shirt, Perfect Fit
I'm 5'7" and 135 lb and this shirt fit perfectly. The fabric is not to thin where it looks cheap or too thick where it is uncomfortable. The fabric is very soft and chic. To me this is the ideal dress shirt. Only draw back to me was the light blue "rain" color does not really match well with lighter pants. I only like the look of this shirt with black pants.

Love the stretch!
If you feel restricted at times when you reach for something while wearing a long sleeve shirt, then this shirt is for you. I never realized how much I would love the stretch fabric. The shirt fits like it says, slim, but not skinny so it's pretty much perfect. Length and arms are as expected from the other ... Gap makes. Looking forward to getting good use out of this shirt.

Stretch slim ... L Tall
Great length on sleeves and body. I'm a 15.5 x 36 dress shirt and the sleeves/body length are great on this shirt. Neck size and sleeve openings are way too big for me to wear this as a dress shirt, but OK for casual shirt and pretty standard when it comes to standard size (i.e., S, M, L, XL) button up ... Construction seems good. Material is a little thin/transparent, but good for this price point.

as expected
lot of people complain about tightness of the shirt and how it doesn't fit correctly. This one was true to the size. i didn't notice that every shirt type has different measurement so felt very lucky i chose the Tall size for the shirt. i have long arms so my sleeves are always too short. This one perfectly long enough, about 35/36. i wish it was little tighter on the stomach area, as i am a 34 waist. i am 6 ft 200 lbs.

Great fit horrible color
The fit is great. The stretch material is not shiny. The only problem is the gray shirt is more of a light brown. I know I don't get how you get brown from gray but the managed somehow. All I wanted was a nice gray shirt to wear out and now I have a nice light brown shirt to wear out. Why are there no good dark gray ... out there?

Definitely a slim fit
Definitely slim fit, which is a welcome surprise to "modern" fit ... still meant for someone at least 20 lbs overweight (vice, apparently, 50 lbs with classic fit ... Unfortunately, i have to return my purchase because while the shirt fits perfectly around the waist, it is too tight in the chest. As long as i don't move, the buttons do not pull too much, but once i do, the shirt tugs on the buttons pretty hard and the shirt opens up in between. Well made shirt - buttons never risk falling off from this and the material is great - but that's just not a good look. I did like the shirt a lot, too. FYI - I wear a medium with a 32" waist and a 42" chest...a 40" chest could probably wear a medium perfectly...41" might get some pulling but still be okay.
