GREAT SHIRTS EXCEPT FOR ONE!
So I bought all the nice colors which are sportscar blue, blue river, optic white, true black, new vineyard, and fossil blue. They are all nice colors, but it looks like FOSSIL BLUE is ladies choice. I tested both from the gap lady on the phone and a friend of mine. Fossil blue seemed to be their favorite and it's true. When I wear it, I can see women's eyes land on me and I just smile when they do and they smile back lol. They are all nice. I will say one thing is that the blue river ... very nice, BUT the collar and the sleeve wrist are big. The length is fine, but the collar and the sleeve opening is about and inch too big. I can easily slide my hand in and out VERY easily from the sleeve because the opening is so loose. I don't really like that. I still keep the ... because I love the color and generally it fits okay, I just wish it fit like the other shirts. One more thing I will say about the sportscar blue. I just got it today and it does not look like the picture. It's not really that bright of a purplish color. It's much darker. It's looks like dark blue and dark purple mixed together. They would look okay with dark wash jeans. So these are very nice comfortable shirts except for that blue river one. It's fits, just the openings ran big so i can't tell you to go a size down because if you do, it might make the openings smaller but it will shorten the length of the ... your wrists will show threw and it will look too tight. So it's not the fit, just the odd collar and wrists. Well, I hope I was able to help. :)

Great slim fit
I'm 6'5", 200lbs with 37 inch long arms but the Large size is the perfect fit. Ideally they'd be an inch longer in the sleeves but it's just long enough to work. I like slim fitting clothes and these have a nice tailored cut.

Perfect!
I have been searching forever for a dress ... fits me perfectly, without having to tailor it. All of the shirts I have tried were great in the neck, but left me feeling like I was wearing a bed sheet everywhere else. This ... soft, breathable, and fits my frame. I am 6'0, 290lbs, with a 52 in chest, 19-20 neck, and 34/35 sleeve length. This ... leaves enough room in the body for movement, while not making it look like I'm wearing a balloon. I purchased the XXXL slim fit in white. The only minor downside, is the length of the ... may be a tad bit short. I'm hoping the ... won't come out when tucked in. Other than that, it is excellent and exactly what I have been looking for.

Sharp looking
It is difficult to find dress shirts to fit me as I have long arms and am lean. This fit on this slim ... quite good. Sleeve length was great and the tails long enough to stay tucked into my pants, It was a bit loose in the waist, but I can have it taken in. I bought it in black and it was light weight but no need to wear anything underneath.

Finally found the perfect ... my husband!
OK - I bought 4 of these shirts out of fear that Gap will discontinue them (as it seems they used to have them in other colors and they are all out - PLEASE KEEP THESE IN STOCK)! My husband wears slim button down ... almost everyday and in the past, and this is the perfect ... him. Long enough to tuck, but short enough to wear out (which is how he prefers), smooth crisp fabric, and just the right length in sleeves. He is 5'9" and 143 pounds and the XS is a dream fit. Love it!

Great ...
I wore it to work at the bar where I work and got lots of compliments. It's long enough so that when I have to reach for something on a high shelf, it stays tucked in. It also stretches slightly and the sleeves are the perfect length. I like that it's fitted. I really like the tall sizes that GAP offers.

So close
For reference, I'm 6 foot, 170, athletic build. I've been trying to find a truly slim fit / fitted ... awhile, and snagged a MEDIUM, "optic white" on sale to give it a try. Quality wise, it's about on par with a lot of other shirts in the under-$50 price range you'd find at [@], etc., perhaps a little on the cheap feeling side, but not by much. Fit wise it's really close. I wear a 16 or 16.5 neck, 34/35 sleeve dress ... great slim fit in the chest down through the waist. Sleeves are probably a touch under 34, but the still work fine for me. The neck is where it just misses the mark. It's probably around a 15 neck, maybe 15.5, and it's just too small for me. It's a shame too, because it's such a great fit otherwise, and the quality is good enough I'd wear it with a suit, but without a properly fitting neck, what's the point. I can still wear it without a tie, top button undone though, and it looks great. I have CK, DKNY slim fit shirts that were about the same price, and I'd wear this one over those EXCEPT for the neck issue.

Love the stretch!
If you feel restricted at times when you reach for something while wearing a long sleeve ... then this ... never realized how much I would love the stretch fabric. The ... fits like it says, slim, but not skinny so it's pretty much perfect. Length and arms are as expected from the other shirts Gap makes. Looking forward to getting good use out of this ...

Overall, a nice dress ... can be worn for most occasions. It's not so dressy that I would wear it to a business function/job interview, but if you regularly wear dress shirts with jeans, or with a simple pair of slacks, it works well. I would buy more, but I got it on sale, and for much cheaper than it is now (around $20). Also, the collar isn't very long, so it doesn't look good with a normal sized tie. I wear a medium (5'11", 155 lbs) normally, and it fit perfectly.

Nice but too long
I'm 6' 3" tall with a long torso. I've been buying gap XLT slim fit stuff for some time now with decent success. This ... far the longest XLT I've purchased.. Since I intended to wear it untucked, the extra length was a big problem. I ended up returning it at a gap store.
