This ... not way too baggy and formless - LIKE THEM!
Most Khakls are kinda formless bags on your legs. Totally unflattering.. This ... sits a little low. Like most Gap Pants I have bought I found you have to buy them 1 inch smaller then you normally would. I typically am a 33 waist. But my Gap pants fit if I buy a 32. I ordered these in a 31 since I like my pants kinda tight but that was too tight. Exchanged no problem. Length is true even with the low rise. Leg is straight. Rear is not baggy. Finish is not too smooth so it wears well over the course of a few wearings. Doesn't wrinkle too quickly and doesn't show the really minor soiling and brushes against things that might leave a mark on some materials.

Vintage ... Pant
These are good quality pants. The material is soft and well constructed. The pants have a nice compromise between room and fit--meaning these pants are loose enough to provide good comfort while formed enough to not look baggy. These pants can be worn at casual occasions and for business casual. The color is a bit darker then the picture but still neutral enough that they can be paired with a variety of colors.

Plain but nice casual pants
These pants are good "go to" pants for casual or dressy casual situations in the summer. Nice color that is different from the standard ... pants that everyone wears. Very comfortable.

Happy Accident
I ordered the vintage ... straight fit, but I received the classic fit. Initially, I hated it and I should have returned it. However, it was nice having a pair of pants that was not so straight legged. Nice pair of pants.

Great for teen at school
My son's school restricts them from wearing jeans or cargo pants so these khaki's are perfect. They are less casual than a dress ... comfortable yet durable for a long school day. They also are available in a 30W/34L online, which we have a hard time buying in a store anywhere!

The best pair of pants ever...move over levis 501
For god's sake do not lose the pattern and don't change a thing. The skinny stuff doesn't fit my legs...but the vintage ... standard fit is perfect...where it rides at the waist, the break at the ankle...the single button fly, the double stitching on the seams, the coin pocket, blah blah blah...don't change anything and make them a Gap forever standard and I'll buy them forever. But do have more fun with the colors. And I'm a 29w 32l...it would be nice to have that size in the store...but I can live with online if I have to...just please never stop making these pants.

Enough of the skinny urban Mick Jagger legs. The Standard Fit Vintage Khakis are the best pants since the original Levis 501. And the quality...pre shrunk...double stich seems...single button fly...the length of the rise...the weight of the fabric...blah blah blah...these pants are perfect. The only thing I would add are some of the brighter colors you are currently offering in other models. But these should be your basic classic Khaki. If you want to play with other fad styles go ahead, but this is the basic pants that should always be available. But I don't trust you to follow my advice, so I've bought six pairs just to make sure I have enough to last me at least five years or so. I have the ... Acorn and the Tar...give me some more colors and I'll add to that.

Great Pants
In this world of skinny jeans and pants that are tight for no reason, these are some great, regular fitting pants. 32 means 32 both in the waist and length. Also, there's room to breathe in them without being baggy or tacky. This is my go to ...

These are the bomb, for khakis
Pretty great. Excellent pants. Good fit. Giving the Banana Republic button fly vintage khakis I love a run for their money. Not floppy, not sloppy, just unremarkable, like a ... should be. Pair with a nice top and some kickin shoes or other accessories and you're set.

Sizing
I like these pants - havent washed them yet but nice feel and weight and colors are a nice variation to typical ... options. But I have to say the sizing is strange. My regular size is way bigger and longer than what I expected. Made me move down a size, but that's not perfect. Not as relaxed as I would prefer. So I'll give'em a shot, but wish they were more true to size.
