Most Khakls are kinda formless bags on your legs. Totally unflattering.. This ... sits a little low. Like most ... have bought I found you ... buy them 1 inch smaller then you normally would. I typically am a 33 waist. ... if I buy a 32. I ordered ... 31 since I like ... kinda tight ... tight. Exchanged no problem. Length is true even with the low rise. Leg is straight. Rear is ... baggy. Finish is ... smooth so it wears well over the course of a few wearings. Doesn't wrinkle ... quickly and doesn't show the really minor soiling and brushes against things that might leave a mark on some materials.

Finally, a flat front ... Big and Tall! I'm 6'4", weigh 215 and have between a 35 and 36 inch waist. Flat front ... NEVER worked because of the "obscene crotch/super tight thigh" syndrome. Well, ... work! I always had to wear pleated ... play the goober card. Well, ... "real" flat front ... baggy ... ordered the 35W ... better ... shrink) because 36 is just ... big and the 36L inseam. Great ... I'll order more of ... have to because I cant shop for my size in stores :)

This is the first pair of ... can actually wear to work without feeling compelled to change into my comfy jeans the minute I get home. In today's age where ... either oppressively skinny or shapeless and baggy it is refreshing to find a pair that is laid back and comfortable while somehow remaining impecably fitted. First off I'll point out the waist like many others (I'm glad I listened to the other user reviews): I wear a 34 waist for pretty much every style ... read the reviews here stating that ... inch ... big. So, I ordered a 33 waist with ... usual inseam. ... absolutely perfect. ... very comfortable ... without being so loose it looks like you're wearing parachute ... tent. :D

Great business casual ...
I really like these ... wish they had other colors. I find these ... best and don't look baggy like the relaxed ... other popular khaki companies. I am 6' 190 lbs and have to buy 34 x 34 where I am a 32 length almost in everything else. After a couple washes and dryings on low, 32s are high waters. I complained to a Gap manager and she was nice enough to give me store credit for some new 34 length ... 32s after a few washes ended up being about 30.5 in length so be careful. These give a modern look without being too tight, give them a whirl.

They ...
My husband has a very hard time finding ... him comfortably. He has always been an athlete and ... always either too big in the wrong area or just awkward. These ... him great. After a few days of having these ... he asked me to get him a few more pair. This never happens. They wash great, and even better (no lint etc) if washed with other chino type fabrics.

I'm ever grateful to Gap for offering sizes (online only) of men's khakis and jeans with inseams of 29 or 28. I always had to settle for ... were too long for me that not only bunched at the ankles, but were too roomy in the rise and rear since they were cut for a taller frame. The selection, even at ... unusual sizes, is great in both jeans and other ... know it looks good cause it's from Gap. I just discovered all this less than a year ago and have made three orders since—been thrilled every time.

Happy Hubby
My husband LOVES these ... He doesn't own any Gap ... normally wears designer khakis. He was looking for a specific gray colored ... (online), but wanted the feel and look to be versitile. Some of the gray ... we looked at were either a wool fabric or polyester/rayon feel, which was too heavy or too suit like. I ordered these to pair with a striped button down (has gray in it) and sweater for a holiday party. My husband tried them on and was highly impressed! He loved the color, the straight cut and the length was perfect for him. I had to order a size 40 x 30 (he's 5'7" and husky) because the Gap in my mall doesn't carry sizes passed a 38 waist . The length is perfect if wearing dressy 1" loafers, no need to hem them. He now knows why it's a customer favorite. I went ahead and purchased them in the "pool' color as a Christmas gift, can't wait to give it to him.

Size matters, and I am soooo happy that The Gap offers an inseam length of 28 inches! Wish they would stay in stock longer and I wish they carried them in the store. These ... made of a durable and great feeling cotton. It hangs well and doesn't wrinkle too much so it looks as good as it did at the beginning of the day. A little snugger in the waist than I thought it should be (but then again I am a little looser in the waist than I should be) ordered a 33 instead of my usual 32 waist to accommodate tucked in shirts and it is more comfortable but was hoping for a little bit more room (but I don't fault the ... Just thought it might be something to consider. A 32 would have been too snug to tuck in anything more than a t shirt. Good construction and quality materials, hope the color holds because I cansee myself wearing these for a long time.

Nice ...
I already have these ... every other color you offer, except the cool color. I ordered these ... color, pool ( dark navy). The color is a good alternative to wearing black ... during the spring/summer seasons.They are a great ... Straight fitting through the hips and legs, without being too constricting. Also, with a narrow leg opening. I love the weight of the ... They are very soft, without being too thin. I like the fact that they have on seam front pockets and back welt pockets. These ... can be worn with casual suede oxfords, or a simlpe fashionable sneaker. These are nice ... am glad I ordered them. They will become an instant updated classic in my wardrobe.

I ordered these ... friend. Thanks so much for carrying a SLIM tall (as opposed to big) tall size! This is a rare find, and much needed in the market place! These ... wonderful in everyway except the rise is too low!!!! These are hip huggers, not SLIGHTLY below the waist. I call the rise on these ... LOW rise!

Not bad, but not great
These Khakis are pretty good. I have the hardest time finding ... my size (36x36) and GAP had the best prices online. When I got the khakis, the seemed to be just fine, but after 3 days of wearing them, the inner button popped right off the ... thread and all. The thread wasn't even torn so it was never sewn on right to begin with it seems...

I care for the material of the ... But the rise is so short that ... strange. In addition, I ordered the black but white ... arrived. oh..

Love the ... but some kind of chemical reaction with the dye.
My husband loves ... but for some reason each time they go into the wash they come out with bleach stains. There is nothing else in my laundry that does this and we do not use bleach in our household. This is the 3rd pair that I bought in the dark grey and I have to say I will not be buying anymore in that color because I think the dye is reacting to something and bleaching it out. I have to throw the ... away each time because my husband cannot wear it to work. Please have this fixed so we do not have to look elsewhere for dark grey khakis.

A ... My In Between Boys Sizes/Men Sizes Son!
Purchased for my middle schooler who no longer fits in boys husky sizes but not quite tall enough for mens sizes. He is technically 34 waist, 26 length. The challenge is not the hem, I can always hem ... but the rise. The rise is usually crazy long on him. However, after washing and drying, ... 28L aren't bad at all. As a plus they are better constructed than the boys' ... seem nice and sturdy. They are pricier than boys' ... but I'm hopeful to get a good year of wear out of them.

... well made and very comfortable. However when ordering ... not true to size, ... least a size bigger. I ordered 36W30L ... (which I always wear) ... were very big in waist area. Also I ordered shirts and ... too are not true to size ... tend to run small.

Shrinkage
I was interested in GAP's new line of ... tried on both the Straight and Relaxed ... version of The Classic. I am short with muscular legs, so it's hard for me to find ... correctly. The Straight ... were simply too slim for me. I tried on the Relaxed ... they seemed much baggier in comparison. Since ... 100% cotton, I knew there would be some shrinkage after the first wash. I decided to buy a pair of the Relaxed ... hoped they would slim down a little after putting them in the dryer. Thankfully, I was right and ... just about right now, not too slim or baggy. In contrast to some people here, I like the material. It is wrinkle resistant, so it looks fairly clean straight out of the dryer. ... very versatile, just short of being suitable for a more formal occasion. I'm pleased overall. I hope ... offer more colors. Unfortunately, GAP seems to change their lines of ... so often, you never know.

Not all change is Bad...
I just got ... so out of the package ... feel very soft, but have a dressier feel. I wear plain front, and guys if your waist is over 36, you should be wearing plain front too, Slimming...The ... great, I have larger hips so the extra room in the leg area is nice. I am 6'5" tall and 240Lbs. 38 waist 34 length hit me just right. ... has changed up their materials from back in the day. How ever its not a bad change. The ... have a little more dressier feel, but can still pull off casual with no problem. If you are looking for that Abercrombie, Ralph Lauren Chino feel, ... not your ... great ... none the less. The material is good enough for all seasons, ... if you live in Northern areas, I would consider thermal under ware. I live in the south, so ... work great for me in winter or summer.One other thing...if you are wearing plain front ... should not have a crease. Creases are meant to follow pleats.

Not impressed
I've bought ... chinos/khakis for many years, and was always pleased with the quality & ... Well, that changed with this pair of ... may not be buying from ... again unless the quality improves. The ... used to have a comfortable relaxed ... fabric was heavier than other brands. The pockets were nice and deep. I still have a pair, so it's easy to compare with the newer product. The new product is a tighter ... front pockets are quite shallow (doesn't ... cellphone as well), and the fabric is much thinner. If the tighter ... only change, I might be able to accept it as a change in style & fashion. ... fabric is much lighter and with the shallow pockets, I'm just ... all impressed with ... I'm pretty sure I could find better value elsewhere at this lower quality level.

Get out a tape measure, ...
... should not be this difficult. Most ... my waist size (35) are too tight through the hips, rear, etc, ... relaxed adds a bit, so they're really comfortable that way. ... 35 inch waist is no where near 35- ... were huge! I compared them to my BR 35 in waist khakis and ... were a full 3 inches bigger. The tale of the tape: my tape measure confirmed this. BR ... were 35 on the nose, the ... 38!!! I understand different fits, ... 3 inches bigger?!? Had to return for smaller size.

NEEDS A LITTLE WORK
... look really nice but the ... kind of sucks. I like relaxed ... loose ... jeans. No matter where I buy my ... jeans from I order 38x32. I really wear 36x32 but after washing the ... usually shrink up and are too tight. I ordered the 38x32 at first and washed them. Tried them on and ... were comfortable but the rear looked huge. I did have a couple inches still in the waist. So I ordered the 36x32 and tried them on before washing and ... tight. The rear looks better but I know after washing the waist will be uncomfortable. I had the same problem with the Old Navy chinos. I bought them in 38x32 and after washing I gave them a way and only wore each pair once. This happens a lot. The Salvation Army must love me. People need to learn how to perfect a good pair of ... can't believe it's that hard!

Nice ... Too Big
Very nice ... waist was not sized properly. I need a short inseam and can only get that at a few places. I ordered the same sized ... someplace else and ... very well. I was suprised the ... weren't even close. I'd say ... were at least an inch too big in the waist. The legs were very loose as well and I have big legs for my size. Perhaps I will try one waist size down and not get the relaxed ... even though the other ... other place were relaxed as well.

Purchased Two Times (12 Pair Total) and ALL TOO SMALL!!!!
I purchased ... "Black" ... two occassions to find that ... were cut "way too small." I returned the first 6 pairs to my local retail store. The male clerk told me that the "Black" dye caused the ... "feel" tight ... would "loosen" over time. I got a refund ... ordered another 6 pair of "Black" ... too were too small ... took the male clerks recommendation and washed them. Now ... even smaller and I would have to lose 15 lbs to wear them. I am out ALL THAT MONEY because of inconsistent sizing by ... bad information by a ... employee! Thanks a lot ...

Gap Khakis
I feel like the men's Gap ... make now are patterned after women's ... waist is low, the rise and legs are tight, and ... do not offer any pleats or cuffs anymore. Also, the material feels like a women's ... much softer and has less of a "khaki ... feel. I bought some gap ... (relaxed ... pleated and cuffed khakis) back in January 2009 and have worn them until now. Two years later I can't find them on gap.com and ... has gown with a more feminine approach to their man's ... Some may like this, but others don't. Bring back the khakis that sit at the waist, have cuffs, and have pleats! ... timeless regardless of current trends.

I must say ... very flattering as well as a nice rich color ( I bought the black, ... am also ordering the Academic now). I was iffy about getting them because sometimes slim ... means very tight, ... must say ... perfect balance between skinny & comfortable. ... very versatile, I've had them for about a few weeks & I ... worn them to the Symphony & then the next day a regular night out. I ... worn them when some casual sneakers, and dress up with them in some nice shoes. There is ... much ... cannot be worn for. One thing I will say the rise is lower then most dress ... so if you're looking to tuck in a shirt, it cannot be very long. runs short
I typically where a 30 length and there just right in any ... however I purchased four pairs of ... all ran different lengths. I ended up with 2 30's and 2 32's I'm glad I tried ... store. If I order online I will definitely order the bigger length, great ... other than that... ... relaxed closer to a straight ... very nice!

... had an extremely tough act to follow; I've been wearing ... flat front, stain resistant ... fifteen years, purchasing ... online without batting an eyelash, and now ... suddenly discontinued. I chose ... because ... seemed to be a close match although perhaps a bit more dressy, which I felt was a little better for ... shirt/tie combos with Skecher type shoes (I'm a high school teacher). ... wear well, ... well, wash and dry well, and iron well, even without steam. ... very comfortable and ... bit like dress ... yet still remain ... like in their comfort and mobility. ... definitely ... stain resistant so be careful; even water marks from a leaky iron or wet sink top are very visible until ... dry. Although ... come pleated, I iron ... flat and ... look great. The rise is a bit lower than I expected ... used to on ... that's ... surprise. I will buy ... again.

The ... has a winner here, ... need to fix a major flaw. The ... SHORT. Brand new, ... 36" inseam ... were only measuring about 35" - 35 1/2". With one wash, ... barely measure over 34.5", and that's washing on cold and hang drying. Really frustrating! This issue aside, I love the ... Comfortable, nice ... great fabric, ... Just please please please fix this length issue. Then once you do, let me know and I'll pick up a few more pairs.

I'm ... opposed to getting ... altered to ... me, ... saw the 28x28 option online, I couldn't wait to try ... see if ... without alteration. Imagine ... surprise when I tried ... on...and ... sack! ... many others ... noted, the sizing on this ... inconsistent. It's the EXACT same pant--I checked EVERY single label and tag, and ... all the same on both ... ordered online is about 2 sizes LARGER in the ... more ... 30 or 31. And the length of the 28x28 ... even a half inch LONGER than the 28x30!!!! What gives, ... can your clothing be ... inconsistent? It's a great ... I'm going to keep the 28x30 and get ... hemmed. ... hope you don't sell any more of ... unsuspecting customers. Be warned, guys: try ... store!

Great fitting pair of dress/work/casual pants
I own two pair of these paints, one in khaki, one in navy blue. I bought them both times because they are one of the only pairs of dress/work/casual pants I can find that ... well without being too tight/skinny for work. I am moderately tall and slim at 6'1" 165, size 31/34 pants. Most pants like this are too baggy in the seat or too wide in the leg. Or if I buy slim/skinny ... they are too tight at the bottom of the leg. These pants look like they were tailored for me and are the best fitting and most comfortable pants I have yet to find. Sharp, clean lines and can be worn dressy or nicer casual. And if you find them on sale they are very affordable.

Finally, pants that actually ... tall, skinny guy!
I've spent months trying to find a good pair of pants that actually ... me properly. I'm 6'1" and 150 lbs, so I need a 30-34 ... which almost nobody makes. Pants that are long enough are always too big in the waist, and those that ... me in the waist are too short. And sometimes I'll find a pair of pants that ... waist, but make my skinny hips look really awkward. The tailored straight ... pants take care of all of those problems and I'm overwhelmingly thrilled. I've ordered two pairs in different colors and one has arrived and I'm really happy with it. Gap, if you're listening, please keep making pants in 30-34! I should note that in Levi jeans, I'm a 31-34 (30 is too skinny in the waist), so buyers may take that into account. I went into the store and tried on 30-32 pants to find that they ... my waist properly, then went online to order the more rare 30-34.

INCREDIBLE Pants, but size not consistent
Alright, I am 6'8"- 235lbs and the cut on these ... EXACTLY what i've always been looking for. I love the lower rise because that's where my ... sit on my waist. I love the material and the way they are cut and fall on my hips is absolutely perfect!! MY ONLY complaint, which i've seen others describe the same problem in reviews, is the inconsistency in sizing. I originally bought three pairs of ... (Black, Khaki, Heather Tailored - all Straight ... 38x36. The only one that ... really good were the Black pair. The Khaki and Heather were both too big. It was dissapointing but at the same time I was so happy with the black ones that I didn't fret for too long :). I might try reordering the Khaki's in a 36x36.LOVE THESE ...

I bought these ... my husband. He traditionally does not like khaki ... black, but the material on these made him change his mind. The ... have a nice finished look to them, are thick and keep him warm on winter days, and are comfy enough to work in as he is on his feet all day. We already ordered a second pair.

A+ School Uniform Chino
My tall and slim son will be required to wear khaki chinos as part of his high school uniform this fall. He is a fan of skinny jeans, but skinny chinos are considered inappropriate. He refers to most khakis as "dad ... most cuts ... too generously (sloppy) on his teenage frame. After reading the many positive reviews of these ... ordered his dress ... size and they ... perfectly! Although they are cut wider than skinnies, they have a neat, trim, and professional appearance. He is so happy to have ... truly ... look "cool", and satisfy his school dress code. Thanks Gap!

Teen or Middle aged Man - Great ...
I recently bought these for my teen aged son to wear to high school next year. My husband has been frustrated that he has been unable to find great fitting, professional looking ... himself, so imagine our surprise... this style is the perfect ... him as well! We went to our local Gap and he tried on his regular size. For a middle aged guy, they ... well in all the right places and are very slimming (not tight at all) without looking like he is trying to appear younger. This style should be patented! From 13 to 50+, these ... sublime! I plan on telling my dad and father in-law about these ... suspect they will look great on them too! Imagine, three generations happily wearing the same ...

Great Pants - Watch the Sizing
These are awesome pants for guys like me who are slim. I am 6' 155 pounds with a 30" waist. Apparently that translates to a 29" waist for these pants, however, as the 30x34 pants I bought were too loose in the waist. But other than that, these pants ... great in the seat, rise, and the tapering of the leg. Actually, I wish navy came in the slim ... has an even more tapered leg which works better for me, but regular ... still works well. But, alas, solid navy is not an option in slim ... All that aside, there is simply no better ... sale by anyone right now for slim guys than these tailored khaki pants by Gap - great job Gap!

Tapered or not?
These ... look and feel great with one exception. The ... do not appear like they do on the model because they look they're tapered on me. I normally wear 32x32 and these ... me like a 31x32 slim ...

First time return
I love Gap ... because of their style and their availability in size. I have read reviews before were there sizes haven't stayed true to the ... they are saying they are. These are the only pair when compared to my other straight ... gap ... their is no parallel. If you would've told me I would've believed these were the slim ... not the straight ... But on the tag they say straight ... They are tighter then what you typically see with the straight ...
