finally
Finally found jeans that fit. I'm a woman with sort of boyish hips, and this is the first pair of jeans in YEARS that fits. Why didn't I look in the men's section before?!!

Modern Classic
I bought these jeans for my boyfriend because all of his jeans were relaxed with a lighter wash than I like. He is 6'6", 255lbs. It is hard to find modern looking clothing for a reasonable price. He said his jeans are a 40 in the waist and 34L but I bought him a 42 for his waist and 34L just because the style is a slimmer fit. When he put them on they fit him like a glove! They were the right color, length ans most importantly size! They weren't too slim in the leg but they werent as box like or relaxed as his other jeans are. They give him a long line on his leg which makes him look even taller. The pocket size was good too. As a side note; sometimes I notice ... jeans pocket size in the behind are way too big. Anyway he can wear these jeans on a date, out on the town with the boys or for casual friday. These are a modern classic and I will continue to purchase this style for him.

Terrible - plain and simple
Steam is coming out of my ears. I always get the same style and size of jeans and this time they were way too tight in the legs. They looked like skinny jeans! After 8 years of trying to keep my faith in Gap, I've given up. I've stuck with them because they're the only ones that sell an inseam 28". When I bought my first pair in '04 they were top notch. Great cut, great wear and great attention to detail. Then the quality started going down hill. Premature wearing and odd bleading of color. I wear a 29/28 and one pair I bought turned out to be a 31/31 when I measured with a fabric tape measure (even though the label said 29/28). Then starting a couple of years ago Gap claimed they revamped their quality. Well, they started to look better... but then it proved to be false hopes. Their jeans barely last a year. I don't wash them often, wash them inside out and air dry them. Yet the color bleads and the fabric rips in areas that it shouldn't - like the crotch! Multiple holes there and along the pant cuff it frays. The wear starts to occur about 6 months into the life of the jeans - I wear them almost daily and I have an office job so I'm not working on a construction site. Needless to say, I've given up on Gap. If you're looking for disposable jeans, you've come to the right place. If you're looking for denim that is supposed be what real denim is - DURABLE - run! Welcome to the world of disposable clothing!

TAILORED & CLEAN - TAILORED KHAKI (SLIM FIT)
I've been wearing more tailored styles of clothing, from shirts to pants along with slimmer ties. I wanted a really clean chino with a slimmer leg all the way through, without it being super tight. I have slightly wider hips, so a super slim leg looks odd on me. These were perfect. Got them at a 30 (as opposed to my typical 32 which leaves a break) length so there was just a tiny bit of skin showing at the ankle. Very modern without being too "Thom Browne."

Perfect pair of slacks!
I always have a hard time finding decent fitting clothing, especially pants, since I am short for being a male. Some "slim fit" will be too tight and some "straight fit" will be too loose. These pair of GAP slacks are right on the money; perfect on the waist, hips, thighs, and ankles. The only downside is that GAP only offers two colors. Hope this changes in the near future because I'm ready to purchase more!

FINALLY!
I have a super slim teenaged son. He is too tall for boys' 16 slim and it is really hard to find an 18 slim. We decided to try Gap. I noticed they had slim fit in the store. He needed some black dress pants for a banquet. He tried a size 28 ... 30. When he came out of the fitting room I think we were both in shock. They fit him just as if they were tailor made. Never has he had a pair of pants to fit so well. I picked up a pair of khaki colored on the way to the register and he told me that he already had some that fit, so I put them back. Needless to say, I ended up ordering a pair of khaki colored after we got home. The fit and quality just does not compare to anything else in his closet. Thank you Gap for extended sizes in excellent clothing!!

Perfect Khaki
I've been searching for a khaki pant exactly like these for my fashion concious hubby for a long time. These can work for any setting. Versitle is an understatement! Perfect weight and look. Fit is perfection--not too thin, not baggy at all. My hubby is very fit and wears 'slim fit' regularly. Regular fits look like he is wearing other people's clothing. Get multiple pairs before Gap gets silly and stops making these. (Gap--please don't stop making these anytime soon!)

These pants are a great buy. It's a must have in every men's wardrobe.

Yeah! They fit.
These pants are truly thin yet still dress pants. My teenager hates all the excess leg material typically found in men's khaki pants. These were the first pair he was happy with. They are a little expensive for a teen but required for school.

Great, versatile pants for the Tall man!
This is my 3rd pair of Slim Fit Tailored Khakis. I am 6ft 8 and have a pretty large frame. I have serious issues finding clothing that not only fits, but looks somewhat fashionable, as I work at a younger company in NYC. These pants are amazing. The waist is perfect: not too loose, nor too tight. It also has a fairly fashionable rise. Not too low, but not so high that the pants are crawling up your stomach. The legs are really nicely tapered. They look good as casual pants with regular, casual type shoes, but you can throw on a long sleeve, button down shirt and a tie and they dress up really well, also.I can't recommend these enough. I have bought them in every color I'd buy them in more colors, if they were available. Also, it would be great if they made some nice jeans in this fit. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

No better work pant
These pants are slim, wrinkle resistant and fit so well there's no need to tailor. I'm pretty picky about my clothing but for the price and style, these pants can't be beat.

Finally! The perfect V neck Tee
I never write reviews for clothing. In fact, this is my first one because these shirts are perfect. Before buying these, I had bought a LOT of different v necks from different stores, and I was still searching for a great tee. I wanted a nice fit. I am tall, so some mediums would be too short, but large would be too wide. These fit me pefectly. I also didn't want too deep of a v neck. Many others I've tried are too deep. Also, some that I've tried the neck is too wide. These, again, are perfect. Lastly, many that I've tried, the fabric is too thin, and they don't hold up well after washing. These are great. I will be buying every color!

It is a nice V
I'm 6'8" tall 210lbs. I generally wear tall sizes, but with a lot of the gap clothing like T's or short sleeve button downs, I generally stick with the regular sizing (unless I plan on tucking it in). I love the Essential V. I purchased a couple a while ago and just picked up some more. They hold their shape really well and retain their color after several washes (if cared for properly).

Soft and comfortable, worth borrowing from the boys.
When these hit the sale rack, I'll pick one or two up to kick around the house and sleep in. They're soft and comfortable, the "V" isn't too deep, and they seem true to size compared to other men's small tees.

The White T is great but....
I order these tees all the time, and generally I love them. I am tall and Gap/BR are my go to for fashionable tall tize clothing. There is one strange thing about these tees though, the white ones are a great, solid, smooth material and hold their shape on the arms. The colored ones (especially the black) are thin, flimsy, loose in the arms and feel like a different material. I even put them on a digital scale and the sure enough, the white ones weigh more than the black!! I will still continue to buy them but I find the difference frustrating.

My husband loves these t''s
My husband has asked that I order "more" of these t shirts...he loves the fit, the soft fabric....he rarely raves about clothing but these are very lightweight and comfortable. They may run a little small, not sure about this. I ordered XXL for him but in many things do order this size. I also tried the XL Tall which seem to fit about the same, maybe a little longer. He tucks them in so that doesn't matter.

great undershirts
We bought these in white to use as undershirts, and were so pleased we ordered several more. A little spendy for undershirts, but we waited until we found them on sale. By far better than any of the packaged men's undershirts we've found at department stores.

Gap ping ''around
I like these shirts.. I have them in various colors and in the pocket t version. They do have their minor little flaws like any other clothing but not as bad. Out of a lot of Clothing Brands, Gap by far makes the best tees in my opinion. Tees are suppose to be kinda thin for comfort and simple for casualness. And, they do hold up very well wash after wash, maybe some of these peoples are washing the wrong way. Anyways, I don't get why the majority of these reviews are so negative. They're just plain tees for a fair price and for the casual, active person. Don't get discouraged, try them out

Fabric too thin
I didn't expect the fabric to be so thin. Obviously GAP didn't listen to the right people in their redesign to introduce their All New Men's T shirt of Better Fabric.

Girls Like Ts Too
I like wearing regular T shirts, but don't like the short, just passed the shoulders length of "Women's" tees. So I look for Tees anywhere I can find them, even in the Men's. This is my first time buying Gap tees. I liked how they looked Unisex and the variety of colors to choose from. After I got them and tried them on for the first time. I loved how they felt so soft and thin, but not fragile. I didn't like how the size fitted because it felt smaller than labeled. I heard Gap/Old Navy sizes aren't sized like most stores and tend to fit smaller than labeled. I tend to keep these, because they still fit good enough to be comfortable and not be 'tight", but "fitted". Plus, I look good in them!

Too small!
My husband normally wears an XL Tall from men's stores. This was our first Gap t shirt purchase for him, and the shirt fit like a regular L; way too small and short for his 6'8" frame. So unfortunately, back it went. Very nice color, though!

What happened to Gap''s t shirts
I would've given the t shirt zero stars if the option was available to me. The quality of the new shirts is very poor, particularly in contrast to the excellent t shirts Gap previously offered. Specifically, the material is thin enough to read through. I decided to wash the shirt before wearing it, and I foolishly assumed that a cotton shirt could survive a normal wash cycle with other cotton clothing. Boy, was I wrong. Holes opened in the shirt during that FIRST wash.
