The best jeans I have ever owned!
I bought these jeans (in both Vintage and Pale Blue washes) because I could get them with a 28" inseam. I have been buying my jeans from Old Navy since the late 90's and have always been able to find my 28 inchers (so long as I kept my waist size below 38") and for some odd reason, they stopped carrying that length altogether. So the hunt was on for my new brand of jeans. This was one of the brand names I first considered, but the price was so steep that it put me off to the brand. Then I figured out (after a couple of weeks of research) that the world seems to be conspiring against short people and that in this case, the phase "beggars can't be choosers" applies to me. So I bought these hoping they would at least be a good ... length wise, even if they might be a little snug (since I'm a bit of a pessimist). They honestly have turned out to be the most comfortable and flattering (so says my girlfriend) jeans I have ever owned. They aren’t snug at all, and not too loose either. They are just perfect. Do I like the price? No, I don't. I think a fair price for these jeans would be somewhere around the $40-$50 price range. But at least I have a place once again that I can find jeans in my size and that alone (to me at least) makes them worth their weight in gold. I think I've found the brand of jeans I'll be wearing for the foreseeable future, assuming of course they continue to carry my inseam length. Thanks Gap!

I have large thighs and rear. These jeans ... comfortably loose. May need to go a size down.

I have larger thighs and used to always wear Levi's silvertab baggy beacuse they ... well. They have stopped making them so I was looking for options. The GAP jeans ... bill for a loose jean. I thought the price ([$]) was steep but I had a gift card to cut back on that.

Great Jeans for a tall guy...
Recently purchased a pale blue wash loose ... jean for my Marine son. They ... great. I was concerned about the length because he is 6'6" but the 36" length was perfect. Thank you GAP for making 36" length jeans. On a side note: WISH THERE WERE MORE SPECIALS ON JEANS......most coupon codes exclude . Thank you GAP for the free shipping......

Sizes are random
I had been waiting for months to buy these new ... every week I was going into my local ... sales person to say "we will get a shipment in next week". Finally I decided to just purchase online [...] since the 1969 loose seemed to be available. Well the months of waiting was all for not. These ... have been the biggest let down. I ordered 3 pairs of these ... only one of them ... yet all of them were the same size. What is the difference you might ask? The difference is that they are manufactured in different countries. Two of the ... were manufactured in China and one was made in Guatemala. The ... made in China were too small all around. They were tight enough in the waist that I knew if I washed them once they would be too tight to wear. The length also was a full inch shorter than I would have liked or that my other older ... one pair that was made in Guatemala, well those ... were almost too big. I figure a couple of washes they will be perfect. I am planning on returning the two pairs of ... made in China and keeping one one pair that ... do think it's disappointing that you can't buy ... consistent anymore. For as much money as ... put into this new ... campaign I would think that they would have locked down some of the basics like making sure sizes are what they say they are. "America's best ... Well, you are only 1/3 right ... FAIL!

GAP jeans aint the same size anymore
i've been wearing the same size and style of GAP jeans for years and could always order without worring about ... went to the store but didn't have the loose ... stock so ordered on line. the waist ... fine but the leg was too sort and uncomfortale. held the new pair og jeans next to my old pair of loose ... they were about 1/2 in. shorter. i think this is a cost cutting measure by the GAP, but they just lost a valued customer.

Vintage Khaki Pant
These are good quality pants. The material is soft and well constructed. The pants have a nice compromise between room and fit--meaning these pants are loose enough to provide good comfort while formed enough to not look baggy. These pants can be worn at casual occasions and for business casual. The color is a bit darker then the picture but still neutral enough that they can be paired with a variety of colors.

Happy Accident
I ordered the vintage khaki with straight ... but I received the classic ... Initially, I hated it and I should have returned it. However, it was nice having a pair of pants that was not so straight legged. Nice pair of pants.

Bought a pair a few weeks ago. I'm very particular about comfort in wearing pants. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs. I tend to like pants a bit loose. I own a couple of classic GAP khaki's and add an extra inch to the waste for these. These vintage khaki's ... like a glove without being constricting and I wear my standard 34 x 32 size. Even after a couple washings and drying, they still ... great. I wear them at work in business casual environment and on weekends.

straight forward pants
great ... feel. nice colors. esspecially like that they are not worn out upon purchase. don't loose length in washer and dryer. stylish. my first time owning casual pants from gap, hopefully they stand up to daily wear and tear.

My new STANDARD
The Standard ... brought me back to Gap jeans/pants after many years, not too loose, not too tight. Please don't change anything!!

My fiance has a really hard time find pants that are long enough and not too tight on his muscular thighs (or they are falling off his waist). He loves that Gap does tall (34-36) size pants. This style is relaxed through the thighs. It looks tailored and great on him. I would recommend this ... dressy look on people with larger thighs. The classic straight ... looked like he was trying to wear skinny pants! This ... looks great and we will order in other colors if available.

a little baggy
These pants ... baggier around the legs than the Classic Straight ... really wanted them to work but they just didn't look right on me. I am 6' 190lbs at a 34 x 32. If you are a 30 or 32 waist they might look better but I found them just to baggy around thighs.

Good overall for work
wear them to work at as a business casual setting. Slightly too loose in the legs but still alright to wear for work not too dress purposes.

Great, but...
My first pair of Vintage, Standard fit was superb, unequaled in exact 33x34 ... every respect: rise, roomy but not baggy, comfy standing, squatting, sitting. I wanted MORE 33x34 pairs. Online I go; click click; doorbell rings, try them on -and disappointment ensues. Mirrored in every way to my first excellent 33x34 pair, just different color. Calls to GAP helpline , trips to an actual store, now on my 3rd try to find another perfect 33x34 pair. 34x34 far too loose and 32x34 way too tight. All I want is another Vintage pair, Standard ... chino bench, to ... way my other 33x34 Vintage pair, Standard ... pants are SO GOOD, I will keep trying, although I sincerely wish the ... more consistent.

Another new favorite!
The ... finish of these pants is excellent, ... absolutely true to size, and the straight ... gives them a clean modern appeal. The back pockets have a loop and button closure that adds a little extra refinement. The fabric is substantial with a subtle sheen to it, and has the advantage of being wrinkle resistant! ... ready to wear straight out of the dryer! I'm stocking up!

Perfect dress pants for the slim tall build males,not to tight nor to ... once you order your correct size.I ordered the 29x34 but should have order my size 30x34 which would make it for me 100% perfect.Great quality pants also.

Too Good To Be True, But It Is!!!
I must admit that I hardly EVER buy pants from ... because everything is too slim/skinny for my taste, but I decided to give these Classic Straight ... try. I was amazed at how well ... fit--it's the closest thing to a true straight ... I've tried at ... I'm in love and want to stock up on this find! The leg opening measured 16 inches--every inch counts in this era of skinny and slim ... had to double check this but the online description says the ... wrinkle resistant. I didn't think it performed very well on this front but that's not why I bought them.

frustrated about length
I adore these ... own straight and tailored ... every color that ... has made so far, and I wish ... would make more. My frustration is that after I started buying them, the straight ... stopped being the right length. ... now consistently too long -- put them on top of the tailored chino, and you'll see ... not the same length.

Not a straight ...
I bought these for my husband as casual/work pants. The pants are attractive and true to size in the length and waist but the legs were way too ... "Straight ... not an accurate description.

The ... Classic ... Khakis by ...
Overall, the purpose of this/these ... its extreme versatility and repetitive uses (i.e. work ... but also casual/going out a night in the town). The cut or ... these ... do not offer enough room for a normal sized person who traditionally wears a 34 (waist) by 32 (inseam). Its unlike Gap's ... which ... great with those dimensions under its straight ...
