I have three colors now. My long sleeve t's now fit my body!!! I can't believe the value for soft, quality material and longer construction for Tall girls. I am very pleased not to tug on my sleeves or hem to make them "feel" longer. It's a hit!!

Don''t Sleep On This V Neck ...
This ... Truth. I got all the colors! It is worth the [$] and then some. I buy Favorite T's in XL and this fits me perfectly in XL. I have a full bust - DD and It accentuates my bust if you can believe it. Smaller bust for this is awesome too. My friend is a B and she rocks the heck outta this ... EVERYBODY! It is perfect in this weird weather here in Jersey too, I wear it under a Gap Denim jacket and a nice pair of pants to work and I am comfortable and look stylish when I pair the shirt with a silk scraf around my neck or a beautiful necklace. It fits all the curves perfectly and hides the tummy nicely if you need that. If you have a slim waist like my friend. It looks GR8. Buy it! Get it! Don't sleep on it and let it sell out! It will carry you straight through to the colder climates and is perfect for now, U can wear it with just about everything and U wil look well put together. The sleeves are a great length. I'm 5'7" not very tall and it hits me at the waist and the arm length hits on my hands but I like that a lot! Luv the long sleeves so much! They come in handy and look nice. I LUV this ... want more colors.Thanx Gap! This is a winner!

Perfect White ...
Love that this is offered in tall. The regular sizes never worked quite right especially the v neck t's. This one is fabulous. Will definitely order more white ones in the future and other colors.

Better Fit This Year
The sizes of Gap's Favourite T's have been irregular. Luckily, this time PXS fit me fine (5'1", 46kg). I bought 2 Favourite Crewnecks 2 years ago and they were too tight, sleeves too short and shoulders too narrow. This time, it fit right. The only thing I wasn't satisfied with is that the hem is too long to wear the shirt untucked; 1.5" shorter would be perfect.

tall sizing is a little baggy
I am 6' tall, so I ordered size TM. I have a couple of the long sleeved crew neck favorite T's from last year in size TM, and they fit great, but the v necks I got this year were much looser fitting. They're still the same soft cotton that I love. Hopefully they'll shrink after a couple more washings.

Basic long sleeved must have ...
I have this ... many colors. The material is nice and washes well. If I could change anything about it, I would make it a bit longer. This is my go to ... shirt for everything. Goes well with jeans, cargos, under blazers, under sweaters and with camis under it. Also can be dressed up with jewelry to wear with skirts and dress pants. Not only do I wear my favorite long sleeved t's but I noticed my daughters also "borrow" them.

Poor Quality
I love the GAP Favorite Long- sleeve ... shirts. They are true to size, comfortable to wear, priced right and fairly easy to care for. Or so I thought. The one big problem is over time they develop tiny holes in the material. I have tried everything with these shirts. Over the course of several years I have purchased well over 40 of the GAP Favorite T's. My first shirts that I washed were in the washer and dried in the dryer. Holes developed almost immediately after the first wash. I then tried washing them on delicate cycle and air drying in the dryer. That prolonged the holes from developing for half a dozen or so washes. My last batch of T's I washed on hand wash cycle and laid out to dry overnight. This worked better, but the shirts eventually developed the same tiny holes. This is very frustrating, being that everything else about the shirts are great except for the quality and short wearing time due to holes. I wish that GAP would address this issue and bring back a better quality Favorite ... Needless to say I will not be making any more purchases of the Favorite ... because I have wasted hundreds of dollars on shirts that I had to throw in the trash only after a few months of wearing.

Worlds best ...
I order these T's every year in the colors I need and like they are a great basic ... shirt, I have long arms so I like to order the long to feel most comfortable in it. The fit is form fitting but not tight, the cotton is soft not cheap and scratchy, they will fit exactly the same after washing but I never let any of my T's dry completly in the dryer I take them out give them a little tug on the arms and hem and let them hang dry completly. I wear them all year long also. Like I said for me it is the worlds best ... have been a gap girl since the 1980's

Quality is Back, Indeed
I bought the fave ... few months ago at a discounted price...it was alright, but the seams are starting to come apart in a couple of places and it seems to stretch out quickly...I bought two more after noticing the note from Gap asserting that the quality had been improved. Indeed, it has. These last two t's are awesome. I would highly recommend buying the tall size if you have even average length arms or torso, especially if you like a longer (i.e. high hip) length in t's. I'm afraid the regular would have been too short after washing. These are very flattering. I would also say that the sizes themselves run big. I am 3 months postpartum and a L in most tops. The medium fits great on me...not too tight and not too loose.All told, a great ...

Great for Layering
I bought this long sleeved ... white and navy blue. The T's fit great and wash well without shrinkage. I mainly use the T's for added warmth under my hospital scrubs but face it they are T's and can be used everywhere. I would purchase again.

Perfect ...
These classic T's are great for anytime. Also good for layering because they have a tailored fit. The quality of the material is excellent. I've been buying these T's for a long time. I wish they would make the powdered blue long sleeve ... they made a few years back. It was such a soft pretty color.

I love this shirt
This shirt is so much better than other stores for quality. I usually find that these type T's from other stores stretch out to much during the day and loose shape. Not this shirt, it looks just as good at 4pm as it did at 8 am!! It feels slightly thicker so may not work as well if you're planning on using it to layer with other T's. I plan to wear with sweaters to keep me warm at work. Today I'm wearing it under one of those short sleeved sweaters and it's perfect! I'm only 5'4" so the length is a little longer on me but that's to be expected (though I don't have to worry about bending over and my shirt riding up).

Happy with my Purchase
I orderd 3 of these in Medium (i am 5-6, 130lbs) and they fit perfectly. Sleeves are nice and long, good overall length, just a nicely weighted longsleeve ... shirt for Texas fall/winter. Plenty of room, but not baggy or anything--I think they're a flattering cut. I got them on sale, and I wouldn't mind having a couple more.

Love these!
Bought two in white size medium, I'm 5'3 130 and they fit great. They're supposed to be 'favorite t's' however, they're labeled 'essential t's'. I've always ordered a small in the favorites of the past, and these I definitely need a medium. Also a bit thinner than the favorites I purchased last Spring. Overall, a great buy at the sale price.

Better, but not the best
I only gave 4 stars because I feel the material is still on the thin side. They're better than what they used to be. A few years ago they were awful, paper thin. I stopped buying them. I started back buying the T's when they seemed to be making them again out of better material. They're OK, but definitely not made as good as the original Favorite T's.

UGH!!
SO DISAPPOINTED!! These are not the same favorite T's I ordered this past summer. These are very thin and run very small! I normally wear a size small (5'3 130) and these would fit a child. They went right back!

Cheesy, lightweight and cheap.
I bought several "essential" t's with the expectation that they would be similar to the "favorite" t's I've purchased in the past. These were smaller and FAR lighter weight than before, see through and cheap. I returned them. I had always counted on Gap for quality, but now it appears I cannot.

Not impressed
I agree with the other unsatisfied reviews. I used to love Gaps Favorite ... long and short sleeved, up until a year or so. The last few times I ordered the T's - I noticed the material is thin, and they fit small. After one washing these T's shrink. I have the older Favorite T's, there is definitely a difference is the make and material. I'm very disappointed in Gap Favorite T's. To Gap - go back to making these T's like before, your recent favorite T's are awful.

Favorite long sleeve!!!
This is an amazing shirt I wish I had purchased 5 more in every color! The stretch is really nice and gives perfectly on the body! I am 135 lb with a C chest and purchased a medium and fits like a glove! My husband loved it on me! The ink color is beautiful! Even though this shirt is more pricey than what I would pay for a regular longsleeve it is worth it and feels quality!

Good Fit!
Great ... wear alone or layer. I wear a small to medium in Gap t's. I needed a medium in this one. I got a black and grey. Good stretch ...

Love these t''s
These t's are fabulous to wear under sweaters, cardigans and blazers because it doesn't add any extra bulk. I like the form fitting style and are very flattering to the body. I think I have six of them now and plan to buy more because they have become a staple in my wardrobe. This is definitely my new favorite long sleeve ... shirt.

It''s complicated.
I love these T's. They are stretchy and thin enough to layer in the winter. They fit great (I always order a size up so I can toss them in the dryer without having to worry about them shrinking up too much. The one problem that I do have with them is the quality of the stitching that other reviewers have mentioned. Underneath the arms, along the cuffs and the hem of the shirt come tend to come undone. I have had probably 15 of these shirts over the past 2 years and I find myself re stitching underneath the arms on at least half of them.

GAP maternity used to make a favorite stretch t....I LOVED them!!! The pure body ... seems a little too thin. They are great for layering but I miss the old ones. They were about twice the thickness of these t's.

Love them!
I love these T's I have at least one in every color! They feel so soft and silky against your skin, I wear them under everything! The best feature is how well they hold their shape! You can't beat it for this price! The T's used to be a little thicker and that was nice to wear without a cami underneath. Love them!

Great
I use these T's for layering. I can wear them to work or out at night. I have several in all different colors. I will tell you that the only thing I am not happy with is a few of the shirts that i wear a lot have shown a lot of wear on the seam running down the arms. Other then that I am very happy with the shirt.
