The Go To ...
Every woman should have at least one pair of go to ... she can wear anywhere. These are mine. These ... feel and look like $100+ ... but ... gives them to us at prices affordable for working women (as long as you get them on sale!). The bootcut is flattering and classy. The cut is slimming. Pair them with button down shirts or fancy blouses. Wear them to work, church, dinner dates and even holiday dinners. You won't be disappointed.

Great ... Work or Play
I love these ... am a curvy African American who was looking for slacks that fit me without having to worry about them being cut too low in the back or too tight across the thighs. I typically order slacks one size larger to acheiev this but have noticed that most slacks are cut too small for curvy women even when they are one size larger, except the ... slacks. Love them for work and play.

49 and Fine for 1969
Ladies: if you are encroaching 29, 39 49 or higher these jeans offer a great fit, value, and style. Being 5'3 1/2" tall with long legs, long arms, short rise, broad shoulders, and curves this brand is a gift from heaven. I am like an All American Girl outside of Southern California. That is no slide on Southern California women as I am an Angelina born and bread. I just was blessed with the blond hair and blue eyes, but not a tiny bone structure, long bikini torso, and a near perfect figure by nature or nurturing pocketbooks. Thank you to the designers of 1969 for answering this Mommy, Teacher, Marketing Consultant, Wife and moving forward toward 50.

bootcut dress ...
I am 6'1 these ... were perfect. they even dragged a bit. you can wear heels and still look good with them. these ... so comfy and versatile.....def. must have for tall women and wardrobe...

Missed the mark
These ... did remind me of what you could buy at the Gap a few years ago for work, however, I didni't like the overall fit. It seems like recent ... made for women with no curves. As a women with curves, I like a tailored fit, but not tight around the butt. These ... had everything except they were too tight looking around the butt. Tailored ... do not cling to your bottom. Too bad, I had to return these. I did try a bigger size and they were just too big overall. Bring back the tailored work clothes that you used to sell. Some people do still have to look professional; and the last few years, the GAP has offered nothing for the profession woman. The quality has gone downhill as well as the style.

Disappointed
I was so excited to try these ... finally a pair of great black dress ... work. I was disappointed after I received them to find the waist to large, the lenght to long and the rise to low. My previous ... always fit but lately I've found the waist to be to big. Maybe made for the new larger American women.

I Keep Trying!
I am having a love/hate relationship with Gap! I don't know what is going on with me and the Gap, but try as I may, I have no confidence in Gap sizing any more. I am 5'3 inches, weigh 110-112 pounds, and am a "mature" women- and have been wearing and liking Gap jeans and ... usually a size 4, almost all my life. This time I wore myself out in the store- between all the different names- and the fact that the same ... different fabric fit differently, I gave up. I returned home and orded 3 pairs on line -and then had to return them - all baggy in the hips. But, a patient sales person took pity on me and we started all over again- and, after some time, I ended up with the identical ... fit perfectly. But, much to my dismay, when I looked at the new inventory (Spring/summer) I noticed, yet again, more new names for the new, different ... I'm resting up for my next Gap visit!

Great work ...
I love the shape and fit of these. It's got a wider thigh than most traditional bootcut ... so that is a nice change. I have bought this same style before and after 1-2 years of almost daily wear, they have stretched out a bit, making the waist and butt area almost too big now, but I got a lot of good wear from them. The waist sits higher than some of the other ... so make sure to check out the pant description before buying to make sure you're okay with the waist height. Overall, I would say these are a great pair of ...

finally perfect fit again!!
These ... great. Especially the gray color. It is a rich deep gray for fall weather. I bought several perfect fit trousers that were really tops a couple of years ago, and have not been happy with the last couple of years of them. These are perfect. They are a bit higher in the waist than low cut, which is good for more formal look, and the material is very soft and comfortable yet dressy. They are not so wide that the pant bottom covers all of your shoes{I wear a size 6 shoes, so wide leg ... make me look like I am gliding without shoes...:) sometimes} I am 5' 2 inches, I wear 2 inch heels and the 2A fit me in the leg length and crotch. I do not like my dress ... snug, I like them to flow a bit,,,but if anyone does, buy the regular, as the ... leg will hike up a bit. Hope this helps...

Not the same Perfect Trousers
I have 4 other Perfect Trousers (black, gray, linen, charcoal). The Perfect Trousers normally fit me well around the hips and the waist (not tight on the hips, and no gaping around the waist). This one however, was tighter around my thighs and there was some gaping around my waist. (I am 5.6" and 148 lb with a big butt but not big thighs)I am not sure whether I want to keep this one or not.

Perfectly Classy Lady
I love the perfect trouser pants. They are dressy and classy. I can wear them to work and to church also. These ... perfect for the curvy woman. They are extra long for those tall ladies who love to wear heels. The fabric is not too thin and does not cling to your legs when wearing hose. Gap please make these ... more colors. I can honestly say that I would get every color. I have a black and grey pair and now the navy pinstripe. And for those extra tall ladies, there is enough hem in them to get that longer length, but it is not needed. I am 6'0" in my heels, and the ... cover my shoes nicely. I get them dry cleaned; haven't tried washing them. Keep up the good work GAP!! It is so good to know that there are classy clothes for the Christian women in today's world.

Great ...
These are great ... Love everything except the length. They are a little long, as I have been finding is more and more the norm with Gap ... glad that I listened to the reviews and ordered a size up the blue pinstripes run a little small. Overall, a great pant.

Don''t order online, try on in the store. Size chart completely off
I give 3 stars for a couple of fake back pockets too- real women have things like phones, pens, keys etc to carry around work. If I see pockets I want REAL pockets not fake ones. Side pockets are real but shallow. I would highly recommend NOT buying these online but finding a store and trying them on. According to Gap's size chart (and as a seamstress using nearly any pattern) I'm a size 10. Using sewing measuring tapes I fit almost perfectly into a size 10. These ... size 10 are HUGE- I would need at least 2 sizes down. This is fashion sizing just like many other users mentioned. They want women to feel skinny or "oh wow I'm a size 2 in these!" but the unintended consequence is you cannot order them online because the sizes are a complete fabrication not based on actual measurements for your size. I wish everyone would go back to the real pattern sizing it makes life much easier.

False Advertising
WARNING NOT THE SAME AS THE PERFECT TROUSER PANT!!I'm upset with Gap on this one. My ... arrived yesterday and of course I was excited until I tried them on. When describing these ... think the copy writer cut and pasted the description from the perfect trouser pant, which was just wrong because they are not the same cut. They just pushed me toward another vendor for my ... only 2 things I liked was the length and material. They are going back.
