Great ...
I ordered these ... my 12 yr old son after we had purchased a pair in a GAP store and liked them. Unfortunately, the nearest store is 22 miles away, so ordering online was easier. My kids are slender but slim sized ... too tight. These ... have the adjustable elastic waist that makes it easier to get a good fit. The boot cut style offers more ease in movement than the skinny leg and my boys prefer that. The dark rinse gives the ... dressier appearance, too. ... they are a terrific product. I just wish the price point was about $5 less!

Adorable, Perfect ... all ages
I bought these ... my two young sons. and they're fantastic. I love the fit, great for tall, thin children. The elastic on the inside of the waist bands are a must, and make it so much easier to keep the pants ON the kids! The ... just the right shade, and they are thick and very durable. Perfect ... I'll buy more!

best style for kids ...
the cut and style of these ... wonderful. that's why i continue to buy these ... year after year. they may not be the most durable ... market, but the kids usually outgrow before they can wear them out. i think this also helps with the comfort of these ... if they were "tougher", i think that they would be much less comfortable for my kids.

Great ...
I bought these ... great sale. I couldn't have been more pleased with the pricing. And the ... very cool for kids. Just like the big boys but small enough for the little guys. He will outgrow these before they wear out, and I'll be seeing my young nephew wearing them in a few years.

These are so superior for preschool kids! Especially for boys! These last and last. These ... last the whole school year for my boys! Plus, the easy fastener really makes them feel grown up. My sons love that they can easily get dressed (do up their ... all by their self!

Great pair of ...
I LOVE THESE ... 5T were just fitting my son, after a few ... they length was a little too short & the waist was getting a little tight. My sister in-law told me about these original slim fit ... they are perfect! I love the adjustable waistband, the length is perfect and they're not too baggy in the legs. I would definately recommend these original slim fit ... kids who have grown out of 5T and not quite into original fit boys.

Regular old blue ...
Back to school shopping for slim size 16 boys is a head ache - These aren't flashy or trendy or special - They are just regular ... regular color blue - just the way my kids like them! The bonus is the adjustable waist for a a size 16 (which you can not find anywhere)! I got them on sale and bought two pairs We love them!!

old fashioned fit
I'm sure these ... would have held up for a long time but we returned them. The have a very high rise and are much slimmer in the hips than other brands of slims we have purchased. My son usually wears an 18 slim but in this ... he needed an 18. We returned these ... ordered the lower rise style of ... Gap Kids offers. Although they are much more expensive, I think the fit will be great.

Original Fit "Slim" Not So Slim
I bought these ... size 7 slim for my son. He is 6, fairly slim and average height for his age. The adjustable waist system on Gap ... has always been our savior. I ordered 4 pairs of Original Fit ... specifically in slim. I have them cinched up on the 8th button hole (there are only 10 button holes) which seems a bit much for ... supposedly "slim". Not to mention the waistband look like a cinched paper bag. He has been wearing Gap ... since he was a baby and I have to say I am disappointed. What are thin kids supposed to do?

Had to return
I thought these ... would be perfect for my 3 slim boys, but I had to return all of the pairs I ordered. They were all too big, in length and in the waist. I had expected they would be a slimmer fit, but instead they looked baggy. I also did not care for the denim. My kids complained the fabric didn't feel good.

I have found GAP has the best ... kids, It makes me easy to buy for my kids because sizes do no vary much.

No holes in these knees
I love Gap denim for kids. These always fit true to size and the adjustable waist comes in very handy. Also, my son has a tendency to wear holes in the knees, but he usually outgrows these ... before he does.

Buy them every year
I have three kids and buy these ... every year. At the end of the year they do not have holes and they come out of the dryer without needing to be pressed. They hold their shape and look like brand new at the end of the season. If you measure your children and look at the charts your ... fit on the first try.

Gap ... ROCK!
I don't buy any other brand of ... my kids. They hold up very well and it takes my kids forever to put holes in the knees... something that doesn't take them long with other brands. Love them!

My boys tend to be rough on their ... most boys are. I have been a gap costumer for years. Through these trying financial times that we are all impacted by, I have tried to "save" money by buying less expensive brands. Only to find out, I am actually saving money, buying GAP quality ... Many other brands just dont last. It amazes me that I found blue ... hold up to my kids, because most other ... eventually fall apart after being ... several times, or my kids wear holes in them. Gap ... not only hold up, but look nice too. I am thankful for this product.

My kids will only wear Gap ... We have tried several other brands but always come back to the Gap. My children are on the slim side, but not enough to need an actual SLIM size, so we love the adjustable waist. I love the different ... style for the kids. They can be stylish, but still be kids. Great ... if your kids where school uniforms these are a great replacement dark in color and it stays dark blue longer than the school uniform pants.

I love to buy everything from gap because they use good fabric that are comfortable,durable and stylish.I buy everything for my three kids from gap ever since they were born. All my friends call them Gap kids because they wear gap clothes from top to bottom.

i have a husky boy who did not like the tight fit of most ... so avoided them. After reading the reviews for this one, I wanted to give it a try and I am now very happy with the one and only pair of ... my son's closet. He seems to be ... ease and happy as well. I could not ask for more!! Thanks Gap for keeping the husky line open for kids like mine.

Good pair
I have bought four pairs over the past four months. My kids had a growth spurt or these shrunk unexpectedly. The material is soft and durable, my son complained about the tag in the bag, had to snip it close to the seam to fix that problem. The store never has a good selection of sizes so ordered it online...always easy.

Happy with purchase
I ordered these ... boys size 10 and felt they ran a bit large. Not big enough to size down, perhaps they are better for huskier kids, even with the adjustable waist, I notice they slip down alot. I would recommend them for quality and style.

Seems that quality control is slipping.
My kids have worn GAP since they were born and until recently things seemed pretty true to size. In the last year it seems like they might be cutting fabric free hand. We ordered four pair of these ... same size for my 10 year old who just wants multiples of the one thing he likes. The ... were vastly different in size. One had a rise difference of at least two inches from the others. Two of them had legs that were about three inches narrower in the thighs. All of them varied in length by as much as four inches. This variance is ridiculous. The ones that are the right size are great for active boys that are hard on clothes.

Frustrated and Disappointed
The GAP kids stores in Westfield, NJ and Short Hills, NJ do not carry the boys' larger sized ... unless one returns them from the catalogue or via on line. I thought I was fortunate enough when the Westfield store had an 18 Husky loose fit ... my son to try on. They fit! Since GAP was having a promotion of purchasing one pair at the list price and getting the second pair for $10, I opted to purchase 6 pairs online since the store only had the one pair. They arrived and I could not beilieve that not one pair fit! I just don't understand the lack of quality control within this company. Why should one pair fit and not another in the same style and size? I repeatedly recommend to the store that 1 of each of the larger size ... not normally stocked should be available just to try on so we could then order via catalogue. But with this poor sizing control, I guess the point is moot.

My kids ask for them because they have the best fit. Before I knew Gap had slim ... we spent years rolling my son's pants down at the waist (even ... Now, he loves his Gap ... because they are available in slim and they fit just right.

My son will only wear GAP ... he is a cowboy to heart! They wear wonderfully, withstand the rumble tumble of active boys and continue to keep their shape. They do not fade despite ... after ... They also have adjustable waists which allows you to keep your kids in these ... way longer then some others. The price is reasonable and the quality superb.

I love how GAP ... fit and hold up on my kids. I have been purchasing GAP ... since my daughter was born, and she is now eight and has 2 younger brothers who wear GAP ... well. When ever I have bought other brand ... kids I end up being very disappointed in the quality. GAP ... cute and comfortable... my whole family wears them.

Finally ... real 5 yr olds
I have a little over average sized son and have been trying to find pants to fit. He also hasn't liked ... because they are too stiff. He loves these ... He asks to wear them because the lining on the inside is soft and most important he can put them on by himself! They have a slip hook instead of a button!!! The 5T in gap baby are too small and 6's are way to big, but the 5's in the Kids section adds a little extra room in the waist and length! Thank you, Thank you!

I keep thinking I can find ... my kids elsewhere and i have tried. Each time I do...I regret it. Nothing fits better than Gap ... nothing looks better than Gap ... Each time my kids go somewhere I want them to look good and appropriate for their age...I always choose their Gap ... I've learned my lesson that the first choice is the best.

Love them!
These are just like the women's 1969 skinny jeans in terms of quality and fit. I bought the size 14R (I'm 5'1", 98 lbs, 24" waist, 33" hips, 27" inseam). I've owned a pair of 1969 women's skinny ... 00P since they first hit the shelves, but this kids pair fits much better. The women's pair fits well in every way except inseam (much too long; wear cuffed) when it comes out of the dryer but as the day goes on they become a little too loose in the waist and baggy in the legs so that they fit more like a straight leg. Sometimes kids sizing and styles just do not work for an adult, but these are stylish, comfy, and best of all fit right out of the package. I may have to hem the bottom, though, if they don't shrink a bit in the ... These actually fit so good as is, I'm a little afraid that if I ... them they will shrink and be too tight. Love that 1969 has a kids line! I'm eying the kids ponte pant now, and hope Gap will come out with a "fitted" straight leg or just skinny (not super skinny) that is between their current super skinny and their current straight leg (which looks way too baggy, more like a boyfriend ... cut).

Comfortable
This has to be the most comfortable pair of ... have ever worn. I am a petite lady and usually wear size 12 in kids. Adult ... tend to be too long or just too big for me. These ... fit perfectly. The fit is skinny but I still can still move around in them. They also look stylish and I especially like the dark ...

Awesome pants!
I'm an adult, but I had recently heard about how a lot of smaller women have been buying Gap Kids ... took the plunge, and these are great! I'm 5'4" about 112 pounds and the size 16 fit perfectly! The waist felt like it might stretch out a bit through the day, but they have a hidden adjustable waistband, so I can tighten it if necessary. The color of the ... really deep blue and they are incredibly soft. I'm really happy with my purchase!

Bigger than expected
My slender, 5 foot tall just turned 12 daughter has outgrown her size 12's of these ... She loved them so I ordered the next size up. Unfortunately, they are huge. I am not sure if I am keeping them as they are very baggy. I wish there were in between sizes for these growing kids!

So, so cute
after reading the reviews I ordered a 7 regular when I normally order a 7 slim. I was disappointed to find that they were too loose for my daughter. I exchanged them for the 7 slim and they were too tight to the point of the button popping open when my daughter bent down. I was set to return them too but then the next day we were desperate for a clean pair of ... had no other choice. My daughter wore the ... short while they stretched to a perfect fit, not too tight at all and they are her FAVORITE ... they really look so cute and I am ordering another pair! Gap is the only place I shop for my 3 girls ... they are the only ones who can offer a ... do not have to cinch the waistband-- last I checked....the elastic waistband on denim was for a toddler and does not look good on bigger kids!

I love every pair of ... have gotten for my daughter from the GAP. they fit perfect. not too short not too big. the crotch of the pants didnt hang down like most kids pants do. i love love love them!.

GAP ... all too skinny for my daughter. It took me 5 years to be able to say that we can buy GAP plus sizes thanks to a sale associate that helped us find out the correct size for her. Although I HATE not being able to buy the plus size ... store, I am very glad that they are offered in the majority of styles online. GAP- maybe consider sending 7 Plus to the store (they carry 8 plus there, why not 7 plus too). My daughter LOVES all GAP clothes and thinks these ... more comfortable than sweatpants. Thanks GAP for continuing to make stylist, comfortable kids clothes.

My granddaughter is very happy with her ... They are low rise and fit great. I ordered 4 pairs of these ... we all love them on my little angel. Best Kids ... out there.

Great ... Skinny and tall kids
I bought these ... my son. I did not know they were for girls, but they ended up being better than the ones they sell for boys. They are longer and slimer, which is exactly what my son needs. He is very narrow and very tall and no clothes ever fits him with the exception of these ... GAP slim fit. I hemmed them and they look fantastic. Classic look. I prefer to buy on a longer side anyway as kids grow fast and this way, I can get a better use of clothes.

For really slim kids
My kids are skinny, but these ... were almost too slim. They did fit and the length was perfect. But, just be aware that Gap slim seems to be slimmer than other slim styles at other stores (ie, Children's Place).

good quality, poor design
The pockets on these are quite large and not flattering. Most younger kids won't notice and won't care, but a pre teen that looks at the back of these in the mirror might complain. Mine did. Too bad, because we liked them, but I had to admit, the pockets were way too big for the pants!

Inconsistant Sizing
I normally love gap kids ... My daughter is of average height for her age but she's on the thin size and the gap has many items available in slim. They normally fit perfectly. These are too long, too wide along the leg and hips. The fit is terrible and not what I've grown to expect from gap ...

Inconsistency
These ... bigger than the same ... bought last month in the store. I have to wonder if the financial problems this company is having are the result of their inconsistent product. I have read many reviews about the quality and fit being different depending on where it is purchased. I have found their quality to be lacking compared to what it was even 5 years ago. I have found their sizing to be so inconsistent that I am no longer buying from The Gap. JCREW kids is high quality and consistent in their sizing. Their price point is a bit higher but you get what you pay for. Sorry Gap you've lost another loyal customer.

Not the slim fit I was hoping for... :(
Based on all the other reviews of these ... being too small I was hopeful, and thought perhaps these ... would actually fit my slender girls. Let me start by saying yes my girls are thin by todays standards only, but they are by no means skin and bones. It is always a struggle to find ... don't look ridiculous on them and these once again disappointed.When you have to adjust the adjustable waist all the way to the last button the ... really balloon out and look silly around their little behind. Gap used to be the only place that had slim fit ... actually worked for my kids but I guess as the rest of the nation grows so are their "Slim" fit ...

Finally!
Finally I found a pair of ... my 10 year old son loves to wear! He wanted ... didn't have too much material in the legs, but that were not fitted either. He also wanted the waistline to NOT come up to his belly button, but NOT show his underwear. I thought I would NEVER find this elusive pair of ... We don't have a GAP kids near us, so I ordered online based on the descriptions on your ... page. They were perfect, as were these ... Thank you! I even ordered the next size up for him to grow into!

Don''t forget to read the fine print!
I bought these ... my 9 y.o. daughter online and they fit her perfectly. The pockets are adorable on the back, and she tells me they are very comfortable. However, I did not see the fine print when I ordered them warning of the slight 'distressing' that may be on the ... simply looked at the picture. When the ... arrived, I was disappointed to see to cuts in the ... front above the right knee, and on one of the back pockets. Unfortunately, the location of the distressing on the front made a beautiful pair of ... look 'old." Trust me, kids do a great job of 'distressing' the knees of their ... their own, they don't need a head start!

Sit way too low for kid''s ...
These ... cute and I really wanted them to work. The rise is just too low. I bought them for my 5 and 7 year old and they sit too low on the hips. There underwear shows and we have to be sure and wear long shirts with them. My kids are uncomfortable in them when they sit down and they feel like they need to be constantly pulling them up. I wish Gap made more ... little bit higher waist. The only pair I could find online with a higher waist was sold out in one size and on back order for over a month for the other size. The fit of these ... just isn't appropriate for young children.

Rise Too Low!
We used to buy the ... pants in baby gap and they were fine in the rise but since we have moved to gap kids, the ... pants are just too low of a rise. These didn't even cover my 5 yr olds underwear at top, when she tried them on. We have not been able to buy gap ... pants anymore, and have had to get them elsewhere now, because of the low rise. I don't want my daughter to bend over or play, and have herself exposed in back, as I have seen on some kids. We had to return these. Gap kids needs to make the rise on their bottoms a bit higher. I have even spoken to other moms that work in the gap store and they thought the same thing, for their own kids.

There are holes in these ...
The first pair had a hole in the pocket. This second pair has two holes....i don't want ... holes in them....the kids can't wear them to school. Lightly distressed....means holes?? (about an inch in length).
