The best jeans I have ever owned!
I bought these jeans (in both Vintage and Pale Blue washes) because I could get them with a 28" inseam. I have been buying my jeans from Old Navy since the late 90's and have always been able to find my 28 inchers (so long as I kept my waist size below 38") and for some odd reason, they stopped carrying that length altogether. So the hunt was on for my new brand of jeans. This was one of the brand names I first considered, but the price was so steep that it put me off to the brand. Then I figured out (after a couple of weeks of research) that the world seems to be conspiring against short people and that in this case, the phase "beggars can't be choosers" applies to me. So I bought these hoping they would at least be a good fit length wise, even if they might be a little snug (since I'm a bit of a pessimist). They honestly have turned out to be the most comfortable and flattering (so says my girlfriend) jeans I have ever owned. They aren’t snug at all, and not too loose either. They are just perfect. Do I like the price? No, I don't. I think a fair price for these jeans would be somewhere around the $40-$50 price range. But at least I have a place once again that I can find jeans in my size and that alone (to me at least) makes them worth their weight in gold. I think I've found the brand of jeans I'll be wearing for the foreseeable future, assuming of course they continue to carry my inseam length. Thanks Gap!

Classic pant can''t go wrong!
I recently had to retire a pair of jeans that were similar to this. I used to own a pair of ... like this from GAP but then switched to a pair from Old Navy that looked similar. I stayed away for awhile because of the price but finally gave in as the Old Navy ... now needed retiring. Fresh out of the bag these pants fit beautifully, just as everything I've ever bought from GAP. Thanks for a wonderful product!

Too Small!
I ordered these jeans for my husband who has 3 other pairs of the EXACT same jeans in this size, but these were way too small :( I hate how there isn't consistency among the jeans. The nearest gap is 2 hours away, so we do most of our shopping online. It won't stop me from purchasing them in the future (because overall these jeans are of great quality), but it is an inconvenience when things don't work out. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for shipping, or I would have been more upset!

Sizes are random
I had been waiting for months to buy these new jeans, and every week I was going into my local Gap for the sales person to say "we will get a shipment in next week". Finally I decided to just purchase online [...] since the 1969 loose seemed to be available. Well the months of waiting was all for not. These jeans have been the biggest let down. I ordered 3 pairs of these jeans and only one of them fit, yet all of them were the same size. What is the difference you might ask? The difference is that they are manufactured in different countries. Two of the jeans were manufactured in China and one was made in Guatemala. The jeans made in China were too small all around. They were tight enough in the waist that I knew if I washed them once they would be too tight to wear. The length also was a full inch shorter than I would have liked or that my other older Gap jeans are. As for the one pair that was made in Guatemala, well those jeans were almost too big. I figure a couple of washes they will be perfect. I am planning on returning the two pairs of jeans made in China and keeping one one pair that fits. I do think it's disappointing that you can't buy jeans that are consistent anymore. For as much money as Gap put into this new jean campaign I would think that they would have locked down some of the basics like making sure sizes are what they say they are. "America's best fitting jean"? Well, you are only 1/3 right Gap. FAIL!

Change of design and fabric is unforunate
Sadly my old favorite relaxed fitting comfortable jeans are no longer. The change in design may be trendy and hip, but what about those of us who liked the confort of our old friendly jeans. While the lower rise jean may be popular, those of us who have been wearing jeans since 1969 would appreciate being able to get what we have loved for years. If I hold the new design up to a pair of my old jeans that are a smaller size, they match up in waiste size where they should be bigger and they're smaller through the butt and shorter in rise. Additionally the new fabric will no longer stand up to years of wear and what happened to the double stitched inseam?!! Design has gone down the tubes and the quality of material went right with it. Blah.... no more GAP jeans for me!
