Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was hesitant to buy these ... because of some of the other reviews and I just have to say that I don't agree with the negatives! Last year I purchased uniforms from another big name brand store and couldn't wait to get rid of them after the school year due to the horrible quality. Now I get these Gap ... totally love them! The material is thick and feels really nice! My daughter loved the feel! By the way she's an average size 6 year old going into 1st grade and I went ahead and bought a size 7 short for her. I believe she could have fit into a size 6 but with the adjustable waist I fee confident that she will get two years out of these easily. She has fairly long legs and the length is spot on as per uniform standards. I will definately buy more as well as pants when it starts cooling off!

great everyday ...
these are durable, basic ... love that they aren't super short and that they aren't as long as bermudas. i was worried they would look too much like a sturdy "uniform", but they are just a basic tan short that will work with so much. love these!

Way too short!
I love the wash and wear of Gap uniform pants and ... some reason, this year, the ... way too short!! No way will the school allow my daughter to wear these - I have to send them back.

still big
I was afraid to order 8 slim because I thought it might be too small. Unfortunately, it was still way too big. The 7 reg were big also, but not as big as the 8 slim.Frustrating because 6 are too short for our private school fingertip test.Going back.
