make your legs and butt look great!
I'm 5'7", 130-135 lbs, size 4-6 in pants, and I purchased a medium. I don't think they run small at all. I'm not curvy at all, but I generally take a medium, anyway. And I'm not sure where other reviewers are finding the high waisted fit, because these fit like any other low rise capris/yoga pants on me. Extra stretchy, fit like a glove. These are also thick enough so that there is barely any VPL (visible panty line), even if you're not wearing ideal underwear. And they look good enough to go run errands after the gym if necessary. I wouldn't be embarrassed at all wearing these without a long shirt to cover my tush. These are high quality, but not super expensive...and I love them!

i love them
i love this leggings, i use them to work out and i spend 6 days at the gym. they look great on me. very good quality (at pilates class you an see thru other girls pants, but not with this). i own 7 pairs. and of curse i have matching tops lol. and by the way it's been over a year and they all still look like new.

Bought My Second Pair Yesterday!
I truly love these workout capris. I bought my first pair about a month ago and after reading the reviews I went with a size smaller than normal (small while I'm 5'8" and 140 and would normally go for a medium). They are perfect for running or vigorous workouts. Going a size down definitely gave me a 'compression' feeling and makes for a much more confident workout at the gym. My only qualm is that since they are snug and I have wider hips there's a definite difference in my silhouette where the capris sit around my waist but nothing that can't be solved by a looser fitting shirt. I have the yoga capris and pants in a medium and I would not recommend wearing those (at least for my size) for more strenuous workouts. Also, like other reviewers have commented, I've tried Nike, Adidas and every other "workout" brand known to mankind and NONE are as flattering or moisture absorbing as these. I was SHOCKED the first time I wore these and they didn't bunch in the crotch, show any sweat below the belt even if I went from running to machine workouts and I didn't have to adjust them ONCE or even fidget with them while moving from machine to machine. GREAT, GREAT workout capris (as long as you go a size down)

Very slimming
Great capris, they are very slimming. These are kindof like tights, you have to pull them on b/c they are so tight. BUT they are still very comfy. Only issue I could have is that the material is so thick, I think it's going to be uncomfortable to wear these anywhere when it's really warm out (so far it's been cold/cool). All in all, very flattering capri bottoms. Perfect for yoga and the gym, or for a run.

Give them a chance!
When I first tried these on after being delivered to my house, I was disappointed because they were so tight. I took them to my local Gap store to try a size up. The girl I spoke to discouraged me from doing this; explaining that they would stretch out. I took them home and tried them on again and wore them around the house. It didn't take long for them to stretch just the right amount. These are now my favorite pair of capris for the gym. I'm waiting for my second pair to be delivered this week. I am 5 7 and 142-144 and the small fits perfectly (I generally wear between a size 2 and 4 jean). These capris are very flattering and hold you in in all the right places.

Great for the gym
Love them!! Just wore them to the gym the other day and they worked out perfectly. I'm 5'4 and 125 pounds and the medium fits me just fine. The small seemed way too tight whereas the medium kept it's shape even after a really tough, sweaty workout. Totally worth it.

MY OBSESSION!
I wear these pants literally every single day of the week. I am obsessed with them because they fit me perfectly. Never in my life have I come across a more flattering pair of pants. I am 5/9 and weigh 140. I'm VERY picky about bottoms because I'm self conscious about my legs. I have bigger thighs and calves, basically no hips, and a pretty lean upper body. I don't like this style of pants from any other brand (including lulu lemon, nike, calvin klein, victoria secret...etc) except gap. All the other capris normally just emphasize my thick thighs and calves. NOT THESE THOUGH! They are tight enough to suck in all my thigh fat and lean out my legs, but not so tight that you can see the outline of every muscle and fat roll on my lower half. I've made a few of my friends try them and they love them now as well. If you want to look leaner and feel great about yourself at the gym BUY THESE PANTS! I swear by them!

Great pants for working out!
These capris are wonderful ! I am always trying to find good fitting workout leggings, and these are great. You can tell are made well, much thicker than other workout pants I've owned, and they accentuate your curves. I am usually an 8/10 in bottoms, and the Medium fits fantastically. I wear these to the gym for workouts or even to run errands or go to class. I am also tall, 5 ft 10, so I worried that they wouldn't be long enough, but they fall a few inches past my knees and look fine. This ... line is really impressive when it comes to price and quality, and I will continue buying in the future.

Nice for working out
After reading many reviews, I chose this for working out at the gym. They were a good choice, does not show sweat, comfortable. They wash well. I did find myself occasionally pulling them up throughout the class, but otherwise, I have been using them, and enjoying them.

Worth the $$$
Love these pants. i thought the price was a little too much for work out gear, but after trying them on, they are totally worth the extra money. I'm 5'4", size 12 and felt these pants really made me feel cute in the gym. Kept all of my not toned parts in check throughout my work out.

NICE
I like these workout leggings. I bought a size S because I didn't want them to be too big (based on other reviews) but I think I could have worn a M. I am 5'2" (133pds). My legs are muscular so they do fit snug. When I run in them (at the gym) they don't fall down so that's a plus.

Amazing
I have had these pants for a year and they have been great. I can wear them for anything- working out, hanging out, or even going out. I can wear them with sneakers as workout pants or pair them with heels and a fancy top and go out to dinner in them. You can't tell they're my workout leggings :) I have them in all styles and love them. I am very careful with washing my clothes (I always wash cold on low spin and never put them in with different textures) and they still look like new and have not pilled. They keep their stretch all day and I feel comfortable in them and feel like I look good. I felt like I should write a review because I was just looking at my $65 nike leggings which I wear much less and look 10x older than these. I have purchased these for presents for friends and they love them. I would suggest going a size up though if you are in between sizes.

The New Gold Standard
when you factor in the price, the fit, the weave, and last but not least, the look of these workout leggings: they win top place. i have been spending twice as much at lululemon and nike and neither running tight has me this impressed. my two top favorite things about gfast? they look good, and they're thick enough to feel "covered" on the way to the gym. my new staple.

Really Are Go Faster Tights!
Possibly the most perfect winter tights out there, I like these much better than my Nike tights. They are long enough, and they don't pull down when I run, which I love. The fabric is totally girding, yet allows free range of motion. I am a personal trainer and wear these at the gym too since they are nice and sleek. Definitely need more than one pair!

Great!
I really like these workout leggings. I wear them for running, yoga, and i layer another pair of leggings with them for snowshoeing or walks in the woods. I also wear them around the house chasing after my toddler. I am 5'3" and 128 pounds and I got a small. I find that they fit very well. The medium was too big in the waist and since I wear them for running I need them to stay in place. The fabric is stretchy and thick - I have not had any issues with sheerness. I used to wear lots of lulu wunder unders but the price of those is going up while the quality is going down. I think these are a great option because the fit and quality is comparable, if not, better! Especially if you get them at whatever % off gap is offering. I would like them to come with a hidden drawstring in the waist just so i can cinch it and not worry about my leggings sliding down when I run. Other than that, highly recommend! Thanks gap for making affordable, quality workout clothes that are also flattering!

Obsessed with these leggings!!!!
I have 3 pairs of these leggings and just ordered 2 more!!!! I literally wear these to class, to the gym or even going out! They are amazing. I would reccomend these leggings to anyone and everyone :)

Want to wear these everyday
I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS! I wear them all the time for working out. They fit great, do not sag, are not see through and very durable. Even after a gazillion washes they stay intact. They are a bit of a struggle to get on because they are very tight, but I believe this is because it is good quality material...but once you get them on, they are AWESOMEEEE. I have these leggings in several colors/versions, some of them seem to be a bit longer than others, but I also have very short legs for my frame. I just fold them up about 1-2 inches and the fit/fabric is great so the fold lays flat/smooth against your ankles and nobody can really tell they are folded up. The plain all black ones are also great for nights out dancing--I have worn them with a fancy top and nobody could tell these were technically "gym leggings." BUY THEM!!!!!!

A drawstring would be nice!
I am an avid runner and got these in the hopes of being able to wear them outside. Unfortunately, it got a bit too cold too fast, so my outdoor runs were limited. Well, let's say these pants are nice and warm, 'cuz they were too warm when I wore them to the gym. My legs were uncomfortably hot. But, if you want warm running tights, these will do for that purpose. However, my biggest gripe is that the waist is a bit loose on me, yet the thighs are tight. Unfortunately, the tights slip as a run and so does the crotch... not pretty or comfortable. A drawstring would help with this matter, but there is not one. I recommend trying these on in the store and considering that the waist will stretch a bit when you wear them. Make sure they won't be slipping down your waist as you run!

Eh - Not For Me
I usually only work out in capri length pants, but as the walk to the gym is getting quite cold, I decided I would try these ankle length pants. Although they are tight (I was concerned about potential muffin top) they continuously fell down (i.e. - saggy crotch) while I was doing Zumba the other night. I spent the first 20 minutes of class constantly pulling them up and adjusting them. Only after I was warmed up and sweating did they finally cling to my legs and butt enough that they stopped falling down. I will never wear them for Zumba ever again - too much of a hassle. I may try them for running, but I'm sure the result will be the same. I'm thinking these pants will be destined for bum around the house days and grocery shopping.

cute, well fitting capris
... very cute. the waist holds the stomach in but does not pinch, so it doesn't create a muffin top at all. ... very comfortable and the length and flare at the bottom are just right. very good for working out at the gym or running/exercising outside. great price for a great pair of workout ... :)

I would gladly wear these every day
Fantastic capri pants that fit great and feel so comfortable on. They are perfect for those in between days when it's not warm enough for shorts but too warm for pants. They fit great and are so flattering. I feel good and confident wearing them in the gym, around the house and running errands. Very versatile and so flattering.

Just what I needed
i was looking for a new style of capris for working out at the gym. I loved my old gap capris, but ... much heavier weight and flatter your figure much better. The only downside is ... do feel a little hot well into my workout..but I will keep on wearing them since ... make me look good and feel so comfortable!! Try them.

Great workout ...
I love ... workout ... own the Gflex capri (this is my second pair), Gfast capri (also bought a second pair), and the Gflex sexy boot (hope to get a second pair soon!). The fabric is great: thick, durable, and tight. They keep their shape and don't get stretched out after one wear. I wore my Gflex sexy boot ... night for like 4 days in a row and they were still just as snug (in a good way!). I just wore my Gflex capri to the gym this morning for strength training and they are great. They are slimming and hold you in and don't get stretched out or in the way of your workout. Same applies to all three I've listed. Note: I wouldn't put them in the dryer on anything higher than low. They'll shrink just a smidge but when ... form fitting as these just a smidge smaller can make you feel like you need to adjust them a little bit when you put them on. Highly recommend!

a bit disappointed
I read many of the reviews saying these ... run small. I typically wear a med, so I ordered a large. ... fit fine through the hips/rear, but left a gap in the waist..which made them annoying to wear to the gym since I felt like I had to keep pulling them up. I do have a pear shape so I often have this problem with jeans, but usually exercise ... OK. I'm just going to try to take in the waist a little bit, but I'm kind of disappointed with these given the price.

Long and Lean
Love the fit; hugs and smooths all the way down. Very slim in the upper thigh to knee, which surprised me, but fit my shape : ) I like the hefty weight, feels like these will last. Nice clean look that I might even wear out, and not just the gym, at night. Very comfy.

Great Pants
These are my new favorite pants for the gym. They are really comfy and the long was long enough. I feel like they are a big pair of spanx, they suck you in and give you extra confidence. Gap, please make these pants in navy!

My husband loves these!
The pants rule. I've got several pairs of bootcut, yoga pants (mostly Hardtail). Thought I would give these a try since the reviews were so positive. I love that they come in ankle length! That's a major bonus. The fit and fabric are great. They're good for the gym, lounging or travel. I like the tiny pocket in the waistline. Plus, my man loves them! He immediately took interest in how the pants hug me in all the right spots. I'll definitely be getting another pair!

Great Pants - Worth the Price
Great Pants, worth the price, love them. The length is too long even in regular length. Will have them hemmed a bit. They make my not so flatting rear look like I spend alot of time doing squats. Been needing a pair of pants to make me feel good while I am out on the gym floor. Now my focus is on my workouts and not how I look. I bought 3 pair (medium) and SOO glad I did! I'm 5 feet 5 In and have thighs like a horse lol and I weigh about 145lbs. I look slender in these NO LIE!

Perfect!
What a great pair of pants. You can go from yoga to Gym to travel to dinner. Dress up dress down. They are so flattering and long. I bought two pair and also gave them to my daughters in Long. I highly recommend them. Priced right too!

Actually bought these to wear to work!
These pants are advertised as great workout pants but I actually bought them to wear professionally to work. Throw on a nice blouse and some cute flats and these pants totally blend in as a pair of fitted slacks except they are 1000x more comfortable. These are great pants for days when you want to look put together but feel like you are lounging. Plus you can head straight to the gym by just changing your shoes! Only thing I'd recommend is buying Long instead of Regular length. They shrunk up a bit when I washed them.

Amazing Pants! The Best I Have Found!
These active pants are amazing! They have a great slim fit that will flatter any figure! I love to work out and wear these atleast five times a week to the gym and on walks/runs. I can tell you they are versatile and comfortable in all athletic situations, both high or low intensity! I have worn these pants to yoga, pilates, lifting, zumba, spinning, cardio boot camps, and step classes and they stay put and fit wonderfully! They look amazing with the half zip pullover and are very comfortable, I would highly reccomend these pants! They work well for gym time, outdoor activities, shopping, and look great even when I go to coffee with friends and family!

I freakin love these pants!
I LOVE these pants. In January, I ordered the gdance, gflex, and gbalance because they were on sale and I had a coupon. I got four pairs for around 100 bucks. Of all the styles, this one is my absolute favorite. I've washed them at least 40 times, wear them several times a week, and have gone from work, classes at night, and taking care of my kids and these still will hold their shape and hug your curves and provide support. Heck I have slept in these after wearing them all day and when you wake up they still have great shape and support. I love them. I didn't pay regular price for them but for the wear you can get out of them I would pay [$] in a heartbeat, what other pants can you wear to work, the gym, and on the weekends with complete comfort and support?

Perfect pants!
Very happy with these. They are very slimming. I wear size 12 (size 10 in Gap pants), and size L was perfect. I got them in ankle length, and they are just right for my average height of 5'5. I love the slim/trim look these give me. Use them for Zumba classes and at the gym, and they are perfect in every way. Washed and dried them per label instructions w/o a problem.

Nice

Get your groove on with these pants
Well I'm a Zumba maniac and gym fanatic so finding nice pants is always a challenge, especially if you want them to last and wear/wash well. These pants are perfect, they are a nice light weight, fit perfect to size and are flattering. I purchased black with blue band in XL, I'm a size 16 and they fit perfectly. I ordered ankle length for my height and although a tad long still I can work with it and my tennis shoes, with no dragging. They absorb sweat without showing marks which is nice. I purchased these on sale and am quite happy will be back for more.

Great comfortable, supportable pants
I am 5'2" and weigh 112 lbs. The xtra small fit great. I love the comfort and feel of these pants - I wear these for colder days in the gym and for casual wear.

In Love with these pants!!
What else can I say. I am 5' 1" so I got the ankle length xm, they fit beautifully I don't even want to wear them to the gym that's how nice they are! I really like the foldover waist because it helps hide any imperfections in that area.

My all time favorite
I'm 5'4'' 110lb. Got these in XS Regular and they are perfect. The size is perfect and the length too. I am not very tall but I guess my legs are a bit on a long side because everyone seem to be complaining about these pants being too long. Not in my case. They just go over my shoes and I am not dragging them on the floor when barefoot either. I was so tired of ON yoga pants that run either too short or too big. These GAP pants are just super comfy, very flattering. Initially my husband got me these in black 3 years ago. I am still wearing that pair and they wash really well, hold their shape. I wash them in hot water and toss them in a dryer with my kids' clothes. I've wanted to get a new pair of the same pants for a long time but they are always pretty expensive even on sale. Well, until now. Gap had the grey for [$]after coupons and I got myself 4 pairs to last me long just in case. I love grey ones just as much as the black one. For those of you who are not sure, don't be afraid to order - exchanges are free.

Great work out pants
It can be a bit shorter, but I have short legs. I figure with work out shoes it should be fine! Overall, great stuff. I just need to get myself to the gym

I love that I can drive long distances in these and be comfortable. I clean house in these. I use them as my PJ's, and If I have to run to the grocery store I feel Ok in public in these. Very versatile. All this is in addition to the gym.!

Love them!
This pair was sent as a gift because I own 3 pairs and wear everywhere. I can dress up with the right shoes or wear to the gym. I am 5"3" and ankle is a good length. I am small frame so Small works. Totally recommend.

Lengthy but Great Otherwise
This was not a huge deal being that I can (and often do) alter clothes myself, but if you're neither an amateur seamstress nor Nicole Kidman I'd recommend getting the ankle length. I'm admittedly pretty shrimpy -- 5'4", X Small -- but I don't really have short legs and I still had to chop a few inches off the regular length. Otherwise the fit and material are perfect and of nice quality, and I'm loving the foldover waist.

Nice pants
I'm picky about my workout pants. Most either fit weird or I don't like the material. These are great. Very comfortable. I'm 5'1" and 115lbs. The medium ankle are a good fit. They may be a little long for running but for the gym, they are a good length. I also have the gFlex pants in the same size. I like both pants but the gBalance are definitely more flattering. They make my stomach and hips look good.

Size up one, two, or three sizes depending on how much booty you want to show!
I usually wear an XS on bottom but found I needed to get this in a Medium because I'm not into showcasing my rear. I don't know why these are sized so small, but I am perfectly happy sizing up three sizes to get the right fit because they are so comfortable! The ankle length was still too long on me so I had to hem them myself. Not a prob. If you work out at a gym where people like to show off their toned bodies and you yourself have an awesome body, by all means, get your correct size! For the rest of us, size up!

Great Fit!
I recently received these pants and I absolutely fell in love with the fit the first time I tried them on! the fit is amazing! they are not only comfortable to wear, but they flatter your rear, curves and give you support in the tummy area. After working out, they did not stick to my body and I felt comfortable to wear them out of the gym. I will definately invest in a couple more pairs of these pants.

good pant, used to be better
love the pant- good fit. I am a size 2, with hips and thighs...most athletic pants are too tight in legs but these accomodate the leg. can wear outside of gym atmoshere w/o feeling inappropriate. I AGREE w. review by klpm57-bought 2 pr last year and recently ordered 2 more: fabric IS lighter weight and pant runs slightly larger. disappointing, but still better than others in the marketplace.

Perfect Fit & Feel
Have been looking for months for this type of wide leg athletic pant to replace the worn pants I bought years ago and love, but which have since been discontinued. What I love about my old pants were the light weight, stretch material because they are breathable for workouts in the gym as well flexible for yoga. The gStrech are even better than my original pants.The material is light weight and has a bit more of a silky feel on the skin.They also are so flattering to my hips and butt. I also like the simplicity of styling...no sporty color accents, just black. Am buying more right now!!!!

perfect
I now own 2 pair of these pants and ordered a couple more the other day. They fit well and look polished even after many washings. They wear better than my lululemon pants which got a crunchy feel after about a dozen washings. And the Gap pants are a more reasonable price. I also own the zip jacket and it fits well and always looks great. I wear these ... clothes around the house and for almost every occasion except work. I wore them on the plane to and from the far east and europe on recent business trips and arrived 'crisp' vs rumpled. I just ordered two black tank tops to see if i can start to substitute them for my basic spanx tanks. Please Gap don't EVER discontinue this gStretch style!

Reviewing the "long" version
I really LOVE these pants. They are perfect for lounging, doing weekend errands, and going to the gym. the little pocket is great for my ipod and a little cash if I feel like grabbing a starbucks on the way home from the gym. I bought these pants in LONG and I am annoyed that the gap is having a huge role out for their new active line but isn't offering all of the lengths online that they do in the store! Would have bought another pair today if they had these in long on line. That being said the pants are great; they wash really well and are designed not to fade (yay!)

You''ll want more than one pair.
These workout pants are great for not only the gym but also for casual. The fit is perfect and slimming. I pull the tie out of mine as it's more there for show and not needed for fit. I have four pairs of these and love them. Only negative comment I have is the material tends to pick up lint, etc., easily, but a lint remover takes care of that issue quickly. Try them, you'll love them.

Not what I expected
I bought these thinking they were like the gap body cotton pants I have. They are more of a lycra workout pant than the lounge cotton pant I was looking to get. These are going back. Great pant in size and shape if you are looking for workout clothes.

Too short!
I typically wear the regular length in Gap pants/jeans, etc. but these were just way too short overall. Even though I do not like my gym pants dragging on the floor, these were just too short--up to my ankles even without my shoes on. I am a about 5'7" without shoes, so if you are even taller, definitely go for the tall version. Regardless, the rest of the fit was nice--a bit big in the thigh, but as expected since they are more of a relaxed style.
