GREAT quality
My ... have to wear uniforms to school one day per week. These pants are the best. Yes, all khakis do sort of look the same at the store, but these are far superior to others I picked up at [...]. Yes, they were a bit more expensive than the pants from other stores, but with the way they've held up and resisted stains (especially from my really messy artist), the few extra dollars were well spent. I've always line dried them, so my assessment of shrinkage is probably not accurate. But they come out of the washer looking nice and smooth and ready to hang, unlike the [...] pants (which really were only a few dollars less), which seem to have developed permanent wrinkle lines no matter how I smooth and even iron them. My only wish is that there would be a size between "regular" and "slim." My ... usually take slim pants, but the slims were way too small. These pants are a little too big, especially in the cut of the legs, but otherwise a WONDERFUL product.

Love these for both my daughters!
I bought these chinos for both my ... we love them. My husband was upset after my daughter went down the slide at the park in her new pants and got dirt all over the backside of her pants. True to form, the dirt came right out in the wash and they didn't wrinkle like so many other chinos! The only small issue is the button closure is difficult for the ... do themselves.

Too expensive
I love these uniform ... have been buying them for the past. why is it that these ... NEVER goes on sale?

Uniforms review - chinos
Gap makes the best fitting, best quality and most stylish chinos - at least for my ... never look anywhere else. 2 for [$] is reasonable. Should just be $20 per pair anyway. I need more length for my ... They are tall and slim. The adjustable waist is great but I need more length in all Gap pants.

The gap chino is a solid go to pant for back to school. It is a good uniform pant. I bought this pant in two sizes for each of my ... They both fit perfectly. The pant washes well and softens up with wear.

Cute Fit Horrible Quality
I bought four pairs of these for my girls school uniforms. All four pairs got holes or runs near the back pockets! It is to bad because they fit my girls really cute. I don't want to have to continue to replace them before my girls grow out of them :(

NOT impressed
Last year was the first year that I switched to these pants. While the price was a hair more, I thought the quality would be better. The pants didn't last the whole year! There were holes in the knees before she was done using them. I have three ... pants I have been using for years, usually last for two ... sometimes all the way to my third! These didn't make it to the end for one!! I don't recommend them, and won't be buying them this year. But I will say this, if you find holes in the knees before the year is out, you can turn them into shorts!

Be warned: Tissue paper has better durability!
I might be exaggerating, but not by much. I was pleased with these ... first because they fit my 8-year old daughter very well. The rise is a nice compromise between modest and fashionable, the length is spot on, and the slim sizing is perfect. However, after she wore the ... few times, the fabric on the knees and around the back pockets was noticeably worn---it has a bit of a sheen to it and became dull very quickly in those spots. Now, the knee on one pair has given out completely and has a frayed, unrepairable tear. The other pairs aren't far behind. My daughter has worn ... other companies that lasted a full school year and well into the next. I bought the GapShield Chinos at the beginning of September, my daughter started wearing them later that month, and now, scarcely more than 2 months later, I have to replace them. These ... were on sale when I bought them, but they were no bargain.

terrible shorts and pants....dont buy
I bought this school clothes back in July for school in August. Because i wanted the sale and to make sure my daughter had clothes for school. I noticed after awhile of wearing them maybe 2 months the ... all had look like a boxs cutter stripes beside the back pockets in the same spot on all three pair. Then the knees started to get holes in them. Never has this ever happened before and i have been a customer for years. i then i noticed all three pair of shorts did the same. BUT i found out the exchanged the ... only because one time friendly thing to do for your customer but they wouldnt the shorts . EVEN though you know that they are defected.. i was very disappointed in the customer service . they just sent them back to me. What am i suppose to do with them? She doesnt wanna wear shorts that you can see her undergarments. they said after 45 days the will not exchange because they have been worn and washed. thats crazy they shouldnt all three pair have holes in the same spot just like the ... dont buy this just trying to save you the money and the time. i guess its a learning thing for me. what happen Gap you used to have great clothes?? very disappointed....

Don''t buy these pants!
The quality of these pants has significantly declined this year. I have purchased uniform clothes for my children for the past six years. Each year I buy the ... uniform chinos. Each year we are able to just make it through the school year and the pants are trashed. My daughter is an active ... but careful with her things. I purchased three pairs of pants for this school year and two pair are in the trash already. The third pair is not going to make it through the year. Holes get worn near the back pockets and they continue to tear. (This is after maybe 10 times wearing the pants.) I am always able to sell my son's Gap uniform pants once he out grows them. Come on Gap, make a durable pair of pants for the ... not purchase from Gap for next school year.

Gap Quality Gone!
I have been buying the Gap chinos for my two girls for six years straight. I typically purchase 8 or 9 pairs between the two girls. This past year all but two pairs got holes in the knees and a few holes in the back pockets within a few months! The price has stayed the same, yet the quality has slid. I will not be purchasing GAP chinos anymore. I am so disappointed that I will have to spend more money just to get my girls through the school year with their uniforms. GAP needs to step up the quality or continue to lose loyal customers, like me.
