Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was hesitant to buy these shorts because of some of the other reviews and I just have to say that I don't agree with the negatives! Last year I purchased uniforms from another big name brand store and couldn't wait to get rid of them after the school year due to the horrible quality. Now I get these Gap shorts and totally love them! The material is thick and feels really nice! My daughter loved the feel! By the way she's an average size 6 year old going into 1st grade and I went ahead and bought a size 7 ... her. I believe she could have fit into a size 6 but with the adjustable waist I fee confident that she will get two years out of these easily. She has fairly long legs and the length is spot on as per uniform standards. I will definately buy more as well as pants when it starts cooling off!

Great basics!
Love that Gap offers basics like these that my kids can wear to school and the golf course, and that I can trust will be good quality for a fair price.

Great for normal sized kiddos
My daughter is long waisted so they are a little snug through the rise! Wish Gap had a solution to this. We also have the same problem with the pants and jeans.

uniforms
My granddaughter has been wearing gap uniforms since kindergarten. She is now in third grade. The first few years we loved them. The last couple of years have been different. The uniform pants and shorts have been wearin out in the back by the pockets making holes in the pants. I tryed changing to another pant but she doesn't like them and they dont fit as well. What happend to the uniforms?We love gap clothes but now I have to keep buying more to make it through the year!

Way too ...
I love the wash and wear of Gap uniform pants and shorts and for some reason, this year, the shorts are way too ... No way will the school allow my daughter to wear these - I have to send them back.

Too Small
My 12 year old daughter is 99 lbs and 5'1". According to GAP's size chart she should wear a 14. Since she wore a 12 last year, this made sense. The 14 is way TOO SMALL. She could hardly close the button. Order a size larger than what the size chart recommends. These were her favorite uniform ... last year because they didn't wrinkle and always looked nice. Sadly we'll have to return them this time.

Not what I expected
I ordered the navy blue and khaki pair for my daughter in a 7 plus, which is the size I order for her in the gap jeans that fit her perfectly. However these ... were not the case. The navy were like a size 5 truly but the tags show 7 plus and the khaki pair also a 7 plus are huge on her. More like a 10. I guess I should send them back since I cannot return these to the store due to them only being able to return by mail. But that is such a hassle.

I love all Gap products, however, I was disappointed with the unifom ... ordered them online and got them just in time for school to start so that was a plus. I ordered a 10 slim and they were definitely not, they were more like asize 6-7:-( I had to return them. The cashier was very pleasant and agreed just by looking at them and put them in the defect pile.

I buy my daughter slim cut gap shorts in the store every year. I pay [$] a pair because she is very thin and Gap shorts are great material and fit her very well. This year I had to buy them online bc they werent offered in the store. When I compaired the material it was obviously cheaper and not as good of quality. I had no choice but to kEep them bc school had started.

Cute but they don''t last!
I ordered these for my daughter, expecting true GAP quality. Although the fit and styling are great, they do not hold up. For some reason these ... have lines that thin out in the rear, and fell apart in a once a week wash in just over 2 months! I have no problems with the skorts/skirts, but these would have gone back if I didn't have to mail them.

Never in Stock!
I agree, these shorts are great but they've been out of stock in most sizes for 3 months! I can see why Gap is going bankrupt and you've had to close a lot of stores -- there's no inventory (except size 2 and 18, which isn't very helpful). Please restock your classics.
