New Gap Style Works for Me
I had already purchased two pairs of Perfect Boot ... store when there were promotions to get me back to the Gap. The fit is excellent for me - the wider waist band works for someone who doesn't have a completely flat stomach. Also, the ... come in a few different lengths so that I don't need to hem them. Unfortunately, I was never able to find my size in the dark wash. Since I knew the fit and size and I knew that I could return the ... local store, if something wasn't right, buying the ... line wasn't a problem for me. [...]. I'm a stay at-home mom and wear ... every day and everywhere that I go. I'm always looking for the perfect ... (comfort and lenght wise). When I went to the GAP store in the Bloomington, IL mall looking for ... sales girl on the floor and the manager on the floor (a male that day) were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and nice to me. I was impressed. The manager noticed the brand of ... had on and suggested a pair of GAP ... were very similiar to the same fit. I loved them. They were the most comfortable ... had ever put on, long enough, and light weight, too! He offered to order them on line right there from the store. Another perk, I thought. The lady that I spoke to on the phone that placed the order was also very helpful. I really appreciate the help of everyone that day, and have passed along the information to several of my friends who also are always in search of the perfect ... One last thing, both pair of ... purchased that day (one in the store and one on line) are great because they come up a little higher than most. Trumps [...]!
I had been a faithful customer of [...]particularly for ... since the Express Bleus and begrudgingly through the elimination of that line and the lines since, settling in with the Stella boot cut ... after all the product changes. Their ... started buying them were $44.50 but could be bought on sales for ball park $30 ... anyway. So the price has gone up, and up, and up, and I've stayed with them until recently. I have thought for awhile now that the quality of their ... has been on the decline. Recently I picked up two pairs of Stella ... - for $120 - and no joke, when I went to wear the second pair later that same week after I had already taken for granted that I could throw away the receipt - the button popped clear off the front! Hadn't even worn them! Bears mentioning I DO buy my correct size too. I don't mushroom over. So I went in to get another pair - didn't even bother attempting the exchange because the receipt was lost - and I found that the ... had just bought had been jacked up in price again and were marked as $98.50. Seriously?!?! They are NOT worth that. So I walked out. Went to the Gap, because I had heard from my girlfriends that the Gap is great for ... anyway. Tried on the "perfect" boot cut ... true to name, it was. Crazy good. Couldn't believe the tag, at just under $70 - I mean yeah, that's not cheap either, but for what the ... do, it's SO worth it. Much better quality. I can run outside at the park with my kids in them, I can look good at work in them, and every wash they bounce back and look just as good out of the dryer as they did in the dressing room in the store. SOLD - I've been converted, I'm a Gap ... girl now. And thank you, Gap, for picking up the ball [...]dropped.

I LOVE these Jeans X Long :)
Wow!!!!! LOVE these jeans. I am 55 years old, 6 feet tall and wear size 14-16. These jeans fit perfectly!!!!! They are super long and I LOVE that. Love the lined tailored waist band, very nice! Thank you Old Navy for making X long. I am ordering more. PLEASE continue to make XLong for us tall gals with long legs.

My Go To Jeans
I discovered this specific style of GAP jeans three years ago and no other pair has met my expectations since. I am now on my third pair and will definitely buy more in the future. ... fit is a highly personal thing, but, for me, as a short yet-curvy person of a healthy weight (though not "skinny") in her mid-20's, these are the perfect ... usually find petite ... ever so slightly too short and regular ... too long--but the ankle cut on these ... perfect lenght for me. It works well with flats and some lower heels. I do think this means, based on my experience, that they run a little longer in general. The dark wash is beautiful and very flattering. Can easily dress these ... up. My flat butt, too, is flattered in these pants. I also often find the boot on ... starts up too high for my short legs, but these fit slim through most of my calf and flair out at just the right spot. They held up OK. I don't think I ripped a belt loop, which is a record, but, like all my ... material at the inner thighs eventually thinned and ripped. (After about 3 years, though, so that's not so bad.) The color does fade signficantly with time, so do wash inside out and treat well. I always air dry my ... these were no exception. As others mentioned, the weird thing about these ... found, is that one pair may fit slightly differently than the next, so do try on a few pairs to find you literal perfect pair. I bought my last two about a month apart and the newer pair was always a little tighter around the waist and hips. Not hugely, though. Anyway, I can't say enough positive things about these ... It's best to get them on sale, but they're a worthwhile investment either way.

Best pants ever!!
I absolutely love these pants! They are very comfortable and incredibly flattering. They are not lined, so if you want lined pants, these are not for you. But they are a great pant, especially for the price.

Amazing Fit
I'm back to work after maternity leave and had to put together a small post baby work wardrobe without breaking the bank. A black pant is a staple but one that can be hard to find if you hit the stores (especially rocking the 3 month post partum body). I'm so impressed with this trouser pant. I have it in a brown pin stripe from a few years back so I thought I'd try this and ordered it online. AMAZING. Fit so well and the fabric hangs very nicely despite not being lined. I'm almost giddy at not having to wear maternity pants and these fit and look so nice I'll be buying a size down when I start to loose the baby weight. Thank you Gap!

These really are perfect
I am 6' tall so I have to order the tall online - I was able to try on the 12 in the store so I knew it would fit my waist and hips, and when the pants arrived, with the extra length they are fantastic. Fabric has a little stretch which is nice, however they are not lined and the material is really lightweight - good for staying cooler in the warmer months, but you may need to watch what you wear underneath!

A little bit big
I measured myself and ordered according to the sizing chart. So it's a bit surprising that these pants are too large. Other than that, I really like them, and will have them tailored to fit. They seem pretty well constructed, and I didn't expect lined trousers from the Gap, so no disappointment there. The pockets are basted, so you will have to clip those threads. I can't help it; I'm still laughing about "not being able to fit more than one finger in the pockets."

Great Fit!
I'm 5'5" and 144lbs. I have very small hips and I'm currently wearing mostly a 4 and a few 6's. I got these in a size 4 because of the stretch and it's a perfect fit and by the end of the day when I feel bloated, they are still comfy. The length was perfect for me w/ a little heel (not as long as some of the regulars out there right now that I need hemmed). The only thing is that these pants are thin and if it's a cold day the wind will go right through them. The pants are not lined. They are nice, but I'm not sure they will last 10+ years like some lined BR dress slacks I have. Regardless - I'll most likelly get another pair as they look so great! No muffin top w/ these. I got the grey and the color is very nice - a darker grey!

just ok
These pants would be great with a ... them. The material is very thin, so there is no way I can wear them without spanks. I feel if Im going to pay over $50 for a pair of dress pants, I want them to be made well and be lined.

Good work pants, but should be lined
I'm annoyed that all their "perfect" trousers aren't lined. They look good, but they're all a little itchy on the seams on the inside. These are nice work pants and have a fair amount of stretch in them; they do get a little baggy after wearing all day. Otherwise, good pants for the price.

What happened to the sizing??
Got these a while back & they still fit but are well used so I was due to get some more "Perfect Trousers". I even checked the tag on the old ones. This years cut is about 1 1/2 sizes smaller than the ones from last year. Makes it difficult to reorder something you love. I returned them for a pant 2 sizes larger but they are too loose. If I lose any weight at all, they will be side lined but the size in between would be too tight but wearable I assume. I hate tight clothing. PLEASE be consistent in your sizing!!

Ok pants
I bought 3 pairs of these pants, navy, gray and black and they ALL fit differently. They are fine for work, but as others have said - they can be tight or to long or average. They are not lined and inside the legs tends to pill after a few washes (will it make a hole?). I agree with the person who said buy them but not at full price unless you are crazy and have money to blow. The gray pair I have hook and eye broke as well. Which is very annoying when you need to get through the rest of the day and your zipper keeps going down!

Not so Magical...so sad.
I was really excited about "Black magic" happening when I put on these trousers, however I was disappointed by the fit. And the quality didnt match the price point. I would pay $35-$40 for these, not [$]. 1) THE FIT: too tight in thighs and the rise was much shorter than expected. I typically wear/LOVE Long & Lean Tall ... trouser fit (also ordered in Tall) wasn't a good fit for me. 2) QUALITY/PRICE: At [$] I would expect the pants to be lined. 3) FINAL THOUGHTS: I am going to go with pants from the Limited and perhaps pay a bit more (and hopefully find them on sale) at Banana Republic or Jcrew for a lined pair.

Recommended Pants
These worked perfectly fine for me. A few things to know: 1) they are not lined, 2) they run a little big (I'm usually a 0 petite, but I needed a 00 petite), 3) they are very long (but as I said, I'm petite, so this is a problem I know how to solve). But they are great professional looking pants for petite women - wide legs tend to swallow us up, and narrow legs make us look unprofessional. The material is great, despite not being lined.

These pants are not lined which makes the fit and feel unattractive. The fabric doesn't feel fine and expensive and the overall look of the pants is not elegant and refined. Would certainly not recommend for work. Had hoped for a nice pair of black pants to wear with flats and pretty tops but was very disappointed.

Beware of DEFECTIVE pants!
I ordered these pants online because they don't carry 0P in the stores. When they arrived.. I noticed that one leg felt tighter than the other side. I lined the pant legs together and noticed that one side was smaller in width than the other. Returned them and placed another replacement order... I ordered two this time and realized on one pair the pant leg was 1 inch longer than the other!! The second pair were okay until I noticed a small 1 inch hole on the side near waistline. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with GAP's defective products. They need to work on QUALITY CONTROL. They sent me 3 defective pants 3 times!

L&L dark wash yes! Other washes no.
Love the dark wash long & lean cut ... just bought! Take note though: not all of Gap's Long&Lean ... same. The dark wash pair have been fantastic: better quality denim keeps the knees from pooching out and the behind/thighs from drooping. The waistband is lined too--a nice touch. After falling in love with the dark wash pair, I bought all the other (slightly cheaper) L&L washes/colors--but returned them all right away: The denim quality isn't the same--too much stretch and fabric memory. After a few minutes of sitting you've got a droopy butt, lumpy knees, broken heart! Sad! :( Keeping my fingers crossed that Gap uses the better denim on future Long &Lean washes so I can buy them all.

LOVE
LOVE the new comfort lined waist in these ... it's soft and comfortable enought to wear all day. perfect amount of stretch to be flattering , but not too much to stretch out and look sloppy. gave these only 4 stars because the length is about 2" too long! i want to wear these everyday with my MERREL clogs, so I will have to hem them.

go smaller
i love these ... am 5'8 (border ... 5'9), 35" inseam, 150 lbs, med build. i tried the curvy ... first since I have a good 11" difference between my waist and hips, but they were way too low for me and were cutting my hips at a weird place. so i figured, i'm kinda tall so I gave this cut a try. the med rise kept my hips and lower belly in place and the darker rinse really stream lined my hips and thighs. they are made out of a really soft denim too which is very nice. i bought them over a year ago and they still look nice although the color as faded a bit. my only problem with the ... think the sizes might be a bit off. I normally fit anywhere between a size 10 up to a 12, but these ... had to buy a 8 and they still stretch out about too much for my liking. after a couple hours, the waist stretches out. i prefer to not have to wash my ... like crazy and get a couple days wear out of them, but i can't really do that with these. i'm planning on buying another pair but going down a size and hoping they don't stretch as much.

Best jeans...ever!
I love these ... They are a very comfortable denim. The waistband is lined so it doesn't rub or irritate your skin around the waist. They are great for girls with curves. I bought 3 more pairs!

Perfect fit
