ooh la la!!!
I LOVE these ... so excited to find these "flare" ... came in petite sizes. It is so difficult to find anything other than straight or bootcut in petite sizes. If I wanted a flare I had to buy a regular 6 and wear heels. I love that I now have some flares I can wear with my flat boots! True to size, I am 5'4", 124lbs and the 6petite fit like a glove!!!

Sweet!
Tried these on in the store, but I wanted a longer length so I ordered a size 2 tall. I am 5'9 and 140 lbs. these fit perfectly for me. I like to wear super tall heels, and the ... still hit the floor which is exactly the look I was going for. They have a little stretch to them and fit more like a ... cut than wide leg. Can't wait to wear them out! Thanks gap for making great ... fit tall women!

This pant is amazing! I am 5'10, size 8, with a curvy figure, and these pants are great. Especially if you love a good trouser. The ... leg is not too big. It's trendy and fun. I purchased the XLONG. The length is long enough to wear heels with, which is what I was looking for. They are too long for flats, though. I am really glad I purchased the ... My favorite pair from Gap.

In LOVE!
Oh Gap...you finally did it! I've struggled with gap ... few years, trying on a million pairs and holding out - and they've made it worth my while! I love these ... they are so on trend with the season! I'm 5'6" with shorter legs, and will warn that these are extremely long - requiring my highest of heels...but that's what I like to wear with wide leg ... anyway. They do wonderful things for your backside, and fit comfortably true to size. The description states that these are high rise, but I really find them to sit lower on the hips, like a traditional trouser jean - and very flattering in the front and back. Definitely not high waisted like some of their other flare styles. The dark wash is dressy, goes great with silky tunics tucked in for spring! I love these ... bottom flare is REALLY wide, and I feel a little silly when I look down at them. But when I look in the mirror, it's a different story - they're perfect!!

When they say flare.....
They really REALLY mean flared! I'm 5'11 with super long legs & curvy, so I thought this would be perfect for me. And it was don't get me wrong loved the style effect of the ... it's just the flare opening is rather extreme. It's super large flare wasn't really flattering on me so I took it to be altered to my taste. I had it brought in about a inch from each leg which changed the style a bit. And the tall was so long that I had 2 have that altered also, I've never had to do that in my life! Overall it's a very expensive looking pant/Jean just watch the flare opening.

mostly pleased
I'm mostly happy with these ... had been looking for some time for a pair of dressier ... wear to work, and this pair fits that bill. The wash is a little bluer than I typically like. And the flare at the bottom is a bit extreme. However, I'm only 5 feet; the flare probably looks great on a taller person. Overall, though, they fit well, they are flattering, and they seem to be made well.

Cute, but far too long
I'm 5'4" so ordered the petite — you know, for 5'4" and under. Presumably, at exactly 5'4" I would be the default fit as far as length goes and anyone shorter than I am would have to hem them. Well, I had to hem these 3 inches. That was annoying. (To the reviewer that said something like, "why are you surprised that 'long and lean' ... long?, these aren't in the 'long and lean' section, they're in the 'trouser and ... section.) On a positive note, the wash is really lovely and dark and they're pretty comfy, even if I do have to hike them up a bit now and then.

too wide
They need to modify this flare for 21st Century. The idea is great, but the flare actually impedes smooth movement. A bit less fabric while keeping the flare would be excellent.

Extreme Flare
Nice fabric and color but beware of the flare. These are very wide at the bottom I think they ... too much for a short girl like me. Maybe someone taller could pull it off.

i wanted to love them
I was looking for some cute 70s inspired ... loved the way these looked online. I've had great luck with other Gap ... recently (the bootcut looks awesome on me). So this time I ordered my size (18), rather than sizing up like some commenters suggested, and they technically fit perfectly, even with a little more room in the waist/tummy than I needed. The color and material are great. They are kind of long, as previous commenters suggested, but would look good with tall heels or could be fixed easily by a tailor. My problem was that the flare begins at or above the knee, which made my legs look like they were the same size the whole way down. I'm an 5'7" and ordered the regular length. These ... may look better on someone with skinny legs, I don't know. But they would look way better on me if the flare began at a lower (and therefore skinnier) part of my leg. I'll be returning these.

Not Impressed
I returned these ... didnt listen to the reveiws and purchased these anyway because I love trouser ... bottoms were awful, made me look short and stubby. By the time I got them hemmed up and the flare opening taken in I could have bought other ... am 5'6 and 130, size 4 in Gap ... They fit just fine everywhere except the bottom flare opening and the length.
