fits great. sleeves are great lenth for my 6'3" husband. He typically struggles with sleve lenths even with extra large shirts.

Good for people needing trim fit in Tall sizes
I have always had to buy shirts that were specifically labeled as "athletic fit" or "trim fit," which has always limited me to uncomfortable dress shirts, usually in one of two colors - blue or white. No one seemed to make a comfortable long sleeve ... described as athletic or trim fit. In reading the reviews for these shirts, however, it sounded like they might work for me. I tried a Medium one in a Gap store and liked the fit but decided to wait and order the Tall size, which was not available in the store. I am really happy with these shirts. They have a comfortable material and they fit me well - no bulging out around my waist. I bought five of them.

Good long sleeved ...
my husband loves ... shirts in the summer and so i was excited to find one with long sleeves. He's 5'7 and wears either a medium or a large, depending on the cut. I ordered a large to give it a roomy, comfortable fit and he loves it. We just gotit, soi can't speak to whether or not the color runs but, at first glance, the color does look a tad faded (hence the 4-star rating instead of 5). I wish they had more colors!

Weak offering
This ... weak -- the gauge of the cotton is too light weight and the ... does not hold a good shape. The collar sags due to the thin weight. I've worn it once to work and have put it on only to take it back off twice since then. It just looks and feels "weak". The sleeves are too short for a Large. Gap shirts all seem to have fabric that is a click or two too light in gauge.

This ... MASSIVELY large
Purchased for my husband, and BOTH of us could have fit in there! I typically purchase a Large Tall for him - he is 6'4" and weighs around 200 pounds with an athletic build. The Banana Republic Large Talls fit him great, specifically their Slim Fit shirts, but the Gap Large Talls are another story altogether!

Not consistent
The size difference between the L and XL is extreme and even with one dryer and shrinking it still wouldn't have been the right size. Have tried purchasing this item more than one time and both times all shirts had to be returned.

The Perfect Classic Polo!!!!
My husband and son love the Classic Polo! In addition to my husband's other favorite, Gap's Athletic Polo, the Classic Polo is the perfect shirt to wear with Khakis, Jeans and looks great under a blazer!!! Preppy and cool without being baggy or sloppy, they wash beautifully, don't shrink up (the guys only comment is that the sleeve rib trim is a little tight after wash.) The colors are super, real vivid and stay that way after many washings. Great job Gap! We are set for the Spring and the boys look great!!

Perfect ...
This shirt is the perfect size and length for my husband. We have bought Nautica and ... shirts that are either too short or too long. This shirt is the perfect length and it wears well too!

FINALLY!
After years of tweaking Gap has finally hit the nail on the head. I remember when Gap quality was excellent. The past several years the quality has gone down. This polo reverses that! The fit is good and the cotton is strong. This isn't the cheep, baggy no form ... Gap's past. The shirt is actually flattering. It's a good value too.

Nice basic polo
It's a nice basic polo. I like that it has a nice length because some ... short and when your husband has just a tiny pouch it'll rise to an unpleasant level. Nice quality polo. My husband usually wears a large in some ... but I purchased an xl because sometimes they fit better on him but it was humongous. I think the large wold have been perfect and still would have given him room to play with but we'll keep it because we got it for very cheap.

... Shirt
I like the new ... shirt. The old ones sucked and faded and were hard like bricks after washing. This is a genuine ... shop at Gap for everything except ... before. Now, I can do it all. P.S. Please get some standard or loose fit BLACK JEANS ASAP!!!!

Good Buy if You know what you''re Getting
Off the bat, I am 6'4'' and slim, about 170. I bought a classic ... last summer size: Medium. The ... fit well, and like this years style, the sleeves ride up pretty high on your arms and are also tight. The one I bought last year fit real well, but after a few washes the ... shrunk a bit to where the bottom came up to my belt line. This is uncomfortable. So, when I went ahead and purchased this product (I bought 4 in various colors) I bought size: Medium Tall and knew that 1) The sleeves were going to be tight and high 2) The ... may run a little long/be just a bit baggy. With that said, these shirts fit great. I would say do not buy this ... if you are not confident with your arms, because these do draw attention to them.

Great fit
Although these ... great with true fit I wouldn't recommend drying them in the dryer unless you realize they are a bit large when trying them on since everyone's body type is different. Gap sizes run just a taad bit smaller in overall clothing compared to ON so the sizing of the polo shirt was as expected. You can order your same size in either brand but ON will be just a bit looser, longer, and roomier. In the past, I have purchased an ON polo in the same size, machine dried it, and it ended up being the same size as an off the shelf Gap polo in the same size. I am overall pleased with the purchase.

Not the best, not the worst
Overall a decent polo. I dislike the back being longer than the front, makes it look a little sloppy untucked. Also, the stiff collar meant for popping... who does that? It just leaves you with a rigid, uncomfortable collar. I do like the lighter weight fabric, it makes for a better spring/summer shirt. Like other reviewers mentioned, it's a little roomy in the stomach. If GAP would learn to stick to basics of a good polo and as always, have consistent sizing, it would be a 5-star shirt.

classic?
This polo shirt is nicely designed, perhaps a bit more structured than previous versions of the "classic" polo. I confess to frustration that GAP has redesigned this classic. The fabric seems less durable, although it is comfortable. The colors are somewhat dull.

Great Polo Shirtt
I really like the polo but they are not true to size because I would normally wear an x large but it was too tight so I had to get a xx large. Also I went to GAP at the local mall to purchase clothing and since it ran not true to size I needed a 2 xl size and the customer service employee informed me that GAP no longer carries 2 XL in stock which was highly disappointing. Anyways I was able to get the right size online but did not receive the 30% discount that I would of received at the store for bringing in clothes to give away to [...]
