They could be better
I don't know what everybody else is talking about, but these shirts are great! Sure the fabric is very thin and "looks" like it could fall apart, but that doesn't mean that it will. I've kept these shirts for quite a while (I think it was in June when I bought five of these) and I've washed them almost every week, and they're still in great shape. But they still could be better. The fabric could be a bit thicker, and still be tight around my body. And the last thing that I wish Gap would do with these shirts would be if they could give them more colors.

Nice Tee!!
I ordered a couple of these for my husband. He's a big guy- and the XXL Tall fits him perfect. It's a fitted tee- lightweight and very soft. He loves these shirts! I will definitely buy more. One thing you should know, I bought the Cosmetic Pink which is actually like a dusty rose color. The color is very pretty, but it's really not pink. We kept this shirt anyway, and it looks great on my husband. Overall, very pleased with these shirts!!

Huge improvement over last Gap ... shirt.
Much better design than the last ... shirts. The neck fits much better, and doesn't stretch out as easily. The fabric is thin, yeah, but that's what I want out of a ... shirt. It's soft, thin fabric that lays nicely. Great shirts for the summer time. If you like American Apparel ... shirts, they're fairly similar with respect to how thin the fabric is. These Gap ... shirts aren't as slim fitting as the American Apparel shirts. I prefer the AA fit, but these are nice too. More colors, though? Maybe some colors that are a little less drab?

Great for tall skinny people
I'm 6'4" and usually have a really hard time finding shirts that I can repeatedly wash AND throw in the dryer and them still fit after a long time. These shirts are great for just that in my opinion. Gap advertises them as a new fit, mentioning that they add a little more length. So now I don't have to order Medium Tall's offline.

Finally!
Great shirts! I'm 6'3" and 200lbs. Finally something long enough AND thin enough. I used to buy XL in shirts until I discovered Gap Tall. Now I buy L Tall and everything fits great! Even Jackets and Sweatshirts!

Fits good, but arms stick out
I am really confused with clothe designers inability to make short sleeves that come down your arm and not stick out off your arm. It looks like the shirts don't fit properly when the sleeves stick out. I have to take all my shirts in to have them altered so they go down my arm and not out. I'm not talking about looking like I'm showing off muscle I mean just have the sleeves go down. It's so weird. These shirts will stick out. They are also slightly smaller then you'd expect, but more how they should be. They are not overly wide in the body and are extra long so you can wash and dry them and not worry about them shrinking up too much.

Regarding this New Crewneck ... Shirt I wanted to say a few things, in the hopes that the Gap will better improve it.The shirt overall fits nicely, except that it needs to be an inch or two longer (and for the fact that these shirts always shrink), and the sleeves need to be a little longer, they are too girly, not manly enough; a man's sleeve should come down longer, otherwise he looks too feminine. Also the colour of this shirt was awful, just awful, that is why I had to return it. I was under the impression that it was going to be the colour RED, which it is not; it is an orangey red, which just looks very silly and unuseable, and not practical at all. Please, Gap, please just come out with a plain true RED crewneck ... shirt, it is one of the best colours on the market. You should also make your longsleeve crewneck shirts in the colour red also (I am referring to those ones that have the banded cuffs). Those longsleeve shirts are your best item your have, and the colours white and black are essential, and you must always have those, but you should really add the colour true RED as well. (And please make the cuffs tighter, and not so loose.)

The ones that fit, fit great
I ordered 5 shirts in the same size, different colors. 2 of them fit wonderfully, the other three were too tight and I returned them. Unfortunately, I take the biggest size they offer so I can't go up a size to get the rest of the colors I want. I don't know if sizing is consistent from color to color, I don't want to have to order a bunch of shirts to find out. I also ordered a jacket in the same size and I was swimming in it. The T's that fit are great and really comfortable, I like the thinner fabric and they've held up OK with the occasional loose thread. They are the first ones I grab out of the closet. The "Tall" option is wonderful and I don't feel like I have to wear a tucked in undershirt to keep from showing my undies or worse. Sleeves are a little longer on these than on the ringer T's. If sizing were consistent these would be a staple.

Not too bad.
I agree with some of the other user reviews about the shirts feeling a little thin but I do like the fit. I bought two crewnecks and two v necks. The strangest thing is that the WHITE shirt (both in crew and V) feels thicker and sturdier than the other colors. I bought the crewneck in white and my brother in-law bought the v neck in white and we both had the same opinion. If all the colors felt like the white one these shirts would be so much better.

Not enough of a change
I used to love Gap ... shirts when I started buying the athletic fit around 2004 or so. For some reason, they then decided to change the ... shirts to a thinner, less durable fabric, and made them too roomy, giving them neck holes that were far too big. The recent change was an improvement, don't get me wrong. The shirts are now more fitted, and they're longer than I ever remember them being, which were good changes. Unfortunately, the fabric is still much too flimsy, and the neck holes are still WAY too big, much as others have said. I started to have hope upon the release of the "city athlete ... shirts," but unfortunately, they halted production of those ... shirts too. Please bring back those shirts, are use more durable fabric and reasonable neck holes, or I will have to take my business somewhere else.

These shirts suck bad.
I tried out some of these shirts to see if they have been improved over the years but they look really lame. They are too thin and floppy, the neck hole is all stretched out and looks horrible and the arms are too tight. They look like girl's shirts. The shirts from old navy are much better and much cheaper. These Gap ones are a rip off.

Best T''s Ever!!
I ordered several of these t's for my husband who is an avid bodybuilder. I was concerned about the fit for his chest and shoulders. To my delight they fit awesomely well! The deep v in these shirts fit so well for him. Another plus is that the material gives so well. My husband loves them so much he wants me to order more! I would definitely recommend these wonderful ... shirts.

Simply Perfect! These are better than BR''s soft wash tees!
I have to say I usually only shop at BR but I happened to come up on these in store and lets just say they fit amazing I really hope gap doesn't change a thing about these shirts. To start off with they are the perfect length compared to BR's tees which are notoriously short and wide. And they are very slim fitting which is another major plus because they make your silhouette look very good with a pair of skinny jeans. The depth of the v is spot on its not outrageously deep like that of [...], but yet is not a small v either. Also these shirts wash amazing which in all honesty in not used to saying for most of BR's products, the neck doesn't loose its shape nor does it shrink up in length. These are vastly superior even to BR's new soft wash tees.

EVERY COLOR!
I'm post partum, so regular women's shirts are not working & just fit irregular, I bought this shirt in every color! They fit super! I bought all ... size XL, i'm a full chest size 46", these shirts are perfect V & arm length, more colors Gap?! lol

I love these shirts
These shirts are great! I am 6'1 and pretty fit but I have a long torso. Most shirts are made extremely wide when you get into XL sizes. Not so with GAP. The Large tall and XL tall fits perfectly, and I don't look like I am swimming in the shirt anymore. I own 9 of these shirts in various colors. My only complaint is that they don't carry tall sizes in stores. If you are a tall person and you need clothes with more length but not necessarily more width......TRY THESE SHIRTS!

Sooooo soft and flexible ;~)
I LOVE THESE SHIRTS! They are a big improvement over old Gap v neck T's. They fit like a glove and they fit my real size, instead of me having to size up like I used to do.

nice TShirt
very comfortable - I am 6'2" 190lb 42"chest 33" waist and M Tall is a good trim fit works well under dress or sport shirts that one isn't buttoning all the way up

As expected.
I just received my shirts today in the mail, so I can't speak to the durability or overall quality of these shirts. I did want to put in my 2 cents about the sizing. I like the look of these shirts and the colors. A previous reviewer stated that the tall sizes were really long. I decided to go with these anyway. He was right; these are super long. I am 6'4, 210 lbs. these were well below my waist line. Normally, I think I'd return them. However, I also wear my pants pretty baggy, so these are a nice fit to my wardrobe to replace some of my baggier shirts. I also like the deep v neck. Another reviewer had also mentioned that the shirt was cut down to his nipples. This was not the case for me. The bottom of the V came to about at least 3-4 inches above my nipples. I didn't find it to be as low cut as a Jockey V neck undershirt, if that helps at all. I think I'd consider getting a couple more but in the regular large size, not the tall large that I purchased.

Loved the fit. It is more European and I wish more shirts were like that for the thin fit guys. I expected the shirt to be shorter than I like. I was but it was expected.

Good Deep V overall :)
I am thankful that Gap has tall sizes in shirts, since it is so hard for me to find shirts long enough. I'm 6 foot 7 inches tall and mostly all torso. This shirt is definatly long enough for me to tuck in, on days that I want to. Plus I love deep V's. This deep V definatly ranks high, just like American Apparel's deep V's.

They''re okay
I LOVE V NECKS!!! I always have a hard time finding Vs cuz i like the neck to be pretty deep and i like thinner, softer fabric. I love how these shirts aren't very expensive, and they're pretty comfy and they come in many colors. I wish the sleeves were a little shorter and tighter, and the body length was a little longer, but overall, i like these shirts. I bought white, charcoal, and the azure blue one. The white one had stiff, thicker fabric, and felt like it was a lot bigger and more uncomfortable than the other two. I'll probably be buying a few more in the near future.
