Great Khakis for an Updated Look!
To start, this review is for size 40x32 Slim Fit Tailored Khakis. You may have seen a similar review of mine on the Slim Fit Classic Khaki page, but I cannot say enough about how well these two styles of pants fit! As you can see, I’m not a slim guy and I don’t pretend to be one BUT I do not want to dress like an older man or someone who doesn’t care about what they look like. These khakis are a great update to the typical, over sized khakis that many ... wear today – these are not your dad’s Dockers and are a much needed update to any man’s wardrobe. Similar to the Slim Fit Classic Khakis, if you are purchasing these pants, be sure to buy your true waist size (not ones that are tight around the waist). From the waist, the pants are fit to be slender and hip hugging but not tight and the same fit goes into the thighs. I have bigger thighs and these pants fit like a glove. From the thighs down, the knees are a bit tailored to bring in the boxiness of typical khakis and the bottom of the leg is about the same size as the knee. The Tailored Khaki style is a little smoother and a tad bit dressier than the Classic Style but both are great! With other khakis that’s I’ve owned in the past, they have been very loose, very boxy, and do nothing to help my image (other than cover it up). These pants are absolutely great and rival more upscale khaki brands such as Bonobos or AG Jeans (and this is the honest truth). I’m a big critic when it comes to pants because I want a nice fitting pant, and if you’re a bigger guy you know it’s hard to find pants that are updated and fashionable above a size 36 or 38 – Gap has done it with these pants and I will be buying a couple more pair.

Hot
These pants are pretty hot. All the chicks in my office comment when I wear them. The black is great for work and going out late. These are not really running to the grocery store pants, too tailored. I am also so happy that not only does someone make 35 waist pants, but someone makes really awesome 35 waist pants.

Yeah! They fit.
These pants are truly thin yet still dress pants. My teenager hates all the excess leg material typically found in ... khaki pants. These were the first pair he was happy with. They are a little expensive for a teen but required for school.

Nice fit
It is difficult to find the right pants since I am 5'4" and about 145 lbs--I can't purchase any pants in the store without having to have them altered which often means the rise is way too long and the tapered leg is cut off leaving me with bell bottoms. I haven't ordered pants online through the Gap in six or seven years, but their option of 31 W 28L was always a perfect fit. I used to order the relaxed fit, but since it has been a few years, I tried the slim fit (in both black and khaki). Without previewing the material and overall fit in the store, the pants arrived and the slim fit is comfortable and the length and waist are perfect.

My sixth pair ordered -- that good
I'm 5'6" 150lbs and these pants fit well. I've ordered a new pair evey sixth months for the past three years because they fit great. Modern slim fit without being skinny, stain and wrinkle resistant too! I have the black and the khaki and they both fit the same. I also own the classic fit in addition to the slim. The classics are better for work because the slim fit are very close to looking too casual. If you are naturally thin or lean or short, these are for you. Seeing a 6 ft 180. Lb man in these pants I think would look too tight for work, but for a slim fit pair of black pants for a night out these a great option for the price. I've paired them with shirt, tie, jacket combos and tees and a denim jacket. If you wear a suit to work, these will not be suitable for your workplace.

GREAT pair of pants
These are fantastic pants - they fit very well for a slim guy like me (6' 30" waist 34" inseam 155 poiunds). Not baggy like so many other pants are. Tailored quite nicely, of good quality, and look great on. I get a lot of compliments on these pants. Just wish they came in more colors!

Nice Fit
These pants fit great. They are tailored fit and seem skinny, but don't feel tight. Nice leg room. A little baggy in the rear, but that is common on alot of tailored pants. Funny how that style starts with street gangs in the late 80's and makes it all the way to nice pants. The material is a little funky...hard to describe, but not as heavy as the regular Lands End khakis I buy. With a 50% off Groupon, I zeroed in on these pants and could'nt be happier. I own several BR dress pants, but these Gap pants will easily slide into the wardrobe.

Great, versatile pants for the Tall man!
This is my 3rd pair of Slim Fit Tailored Khakis. I am 6ft 8 and have a pretty large frame. I have serious issues finding clothing that not only fits, but looks somewhat fashionable, as I work at a younger company in NYC. These pants are amazing. The waist is perfect: not too loose, nor too tight. It also has a fairly fashionable rise. Not too low, but not so high that the pants are crawling up your stomach. The legs are really nicely tapered. They look good as casual pants with regular, casual type shoes, but you can throw on a long sleeve, button down shirt and a tie and they dress up really well, also.I can't recommend these enough. I have bought them in every color I'd buy them in more colors, if they were available. Also, it would be great if they made some nice jeans in this fit. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Taylored fit pants
They are really nice. I bought them for my husband. It great he wil have to alter the length but its fine. I just wish it wasn't so tight. Please add other lengths to your online orders. Like 26, 27 would be great esp for kids that are husky and need the shorter lengths. You are on the right track. Your company is the only one that makes nice slacks for mens with the length at 28. Please consider other lengths.

Fade Away
These pants are a good compromise for people who want a slightly slimmer fit but need to still have a crisp, professional look. At the waist and through the leg it's comfortable, and the tapering down to the ankle helps create a nice slim silhouette. I've purchased eight of them. The ONLY PROBLEM I have with these pants is that they remain black for about one or two cleanings, after which they go from being black to dark gray. Part of the reason I've had to purchase so many is that after a couple of months these ... so faded as to be an embarrassment to wear.

two defective pairs in a row
Hello, I received and had to return the second pair in a row of these pants. The first pair had a rear belt loop tear out. I have never had that happen to any other pair of pants I have ever owned. The second pair I received and returned arrived with a black grease mark just below the belt line. I like the fit of these pants and have a few pairs that have been fine in the short run. I will see how they wear. Of course, the GAP pants in recent years have gone way down in quality and wear out more quickly than ever, while the price continues to climb. But, they still are the only brand that fits me well off the rack.
