VERY FLATTERING ...
I WAS SO SURPRISED BY THESE ... YES, THEY LOOK LIKE DENIM..BUT, THEY FEEL LIKE LEGGINGS. I USUALLY BUY THE GUMMY ... THEY ARE THIN...BUT, THESE ARE WEIGHTLESS! CRAZY! I WASNT' SURE AT FIRST...BUT, ONCE I HAD THEM ON... I WAS SO PLEASED AND LOVED THE STRETCH AND THE LIGHTNESS OF THEM. I PREFER THE LIGHTER WEIGHT SKINNY ... MORE AND MORE AND THESE ARE THE EXTREME...BUT, I THINK THEY WILL LAST DUE TO THE DARK DYE OF THE DENIM. THE BLACK IS INTENSELY DARK AND THAT IS GREAT FOR ME BECAUSE THE GUMMY ... NOT! I THINK I MAY HAVE FOUND A NEW "SUBSTITUTE" FOR ACTUALLY WEARING COTTON LEGGINGS WHEN I WANT SOMETHING A BIT WARMER FOR THE WINTER.

You can't go wrong with these. Definitely order a size up -- I could get my correct size on, but "just because you can zip them up doesn't mean they fit" as a friend once told me. One size up fit perfectly. They make you look super skinny and look great with everything. Very comfortable. The fabric is thinner than the denim version but it's not so thin that I worry about it. I'm not into leggings but these are a very good alternative -- classy. Love them!

Awesome pair of ...
I don't usually write reviews...These pair of ... really nice. I own a similar pair from last year that had a little more stretch in them, it was heavier/thicker (midweight?) and it was a dark denim blue. I was woried about how lightweight these wear when I first got them before I tried it on. They were a little snug at first but they fit so nicely, and it slims you up. I am 5'6 and weigh around 165 pounds and I bought these in a 10. I am so glad I got these black ones, I also ordered the gray snake skin ... (currently on sale) after I received these. They are not jeansy, so if that's what you are looking for, you might want to try the mid weight / medium weight.

these are the perfect alternative to boring leggings! Super soft denim. I received SO many compliments when I wore them with a cute tunic. Please order your true size. I read reviews & decided to go in store & try on both a size up & my true size. (in the past, I've size up to a 4 in Gap jeggings). I am 5'6, 119 & the size 2 works perfectly!

I LOVE these jean leggings! I got them in black, and they are awesome. I had to have them shortened as I am 5'3" and they are not available in petite length, but even with the alteration still look perfect. They do shrink a little bit after washing and drying, makes them a little more fitted.

i've been looking for a really good pair of jeggings, but i have to say this is by far the best one I've tried on. it fits great, looks good, makes you feel slender. i wish they have this in dark denim, not just black.

a bit itchy...
i got this in 2 different sizes, but i end up with my normal true size. Yes, it is snug and very fitted, but you want ... leggings to be like that! I wore them out the other night and danced in them all night. They are comfortable, stretchy, and the rise is not too low, which is a plus because i don't want my *** showing! i gave it 4 stars because It was a little itchy at first, but after a few washes they're ok...

really thin
really thin but soft and moves with your body. these are a little thicker than regular leggings and made out of jean material.

Like these, but liked last year''s version better
I had the black and indigo jeggings from last year and LOVED them. My black pair ripped so I came looking for another pair. It seems that GAP has changed the jegging from last year. These are lighter weight and much tighter and look less like denim. I ordered two sizes up from what I normally wear at GAP. These have a richer black color and don't look like denim so I can get away with wearing them at work. Like these, loved last year's version.

These were my first pair of jeggings. They are comfortable and go with pretty much anything. They can be casual or dressed up. The only issue I have with them is that I am constantly pulling them up like some loose pantyhose. Only with pantyhose- they are easy to pull up. I agree with everyone else; they are a size smaller than they should be, and markedly thinner than the regular denim version of the ... purchased earlier this year...a disappointment :(
