Always our first choice
Our kids wear uniforms for school and GAP is always our first choice for school ... quality and durability has been unmatched by the many other lines of uniforms we have tried. Sizes are generous, so we typically buy down one size (our kids run slim). I love the adjustable waistbands and the way the clothing launders. GAP items rarely fade (unlike so many other brands) and the shorts don't need to be ironed (and who has time for that?!?). We have GAP uniform shorts that have been handed down through all three of our children that are still in good condition and could be used again.

School ...
I don't wear it but my daughter loves it...we tried on so many difference ... mall from different stores...like Macy's, Nordstrom, Old Navy's, abercrombie, and a specialty store....nothing....she always wore gap school uniform ... but this year wanted to try something new.....so we set out to search.....but nothing..............she didn't like anything....she is very thin and 12 but looks 10........she decided on gap again she loves it......comfort, durable, easy to wear.......i am sure since i know she is very picky when it comes to the material on the clothing she has on since she does have sensitive skin....

Girls Uniform Shorts
Love these Uniform Shorts. Super soft cotton, wash and wear without ironing, and they fit 'tweens' well. It would be great if Gap would go back to allowing returns of these items in store; I'm less likely to take a risk on these for my son, as he fits clothing differently than my daughter!

nice uniforms
I like the shorts...I do think it would be nice if the Gap and other pre ten clothing makers would make their shorts with a larger waist. We tried the plus sizes and the were huge on her, but your shorts are tight in the waist. And most schools require their shirts be tucked in and tight shorts makes that tough. [...]

I bought these for my daughter for school uniforms and I do not recommend them!! She has been wearing them for 6 weeks and there are already holes in them along the pockets in the back. She is not rough on her ... have never had this happen to her clothing before. I figured that I would spend more for her uniform shorts and that I would get my moneys worth but I was clearly mistaken.
