American Apparel eat your heart out!
I just bought 7 of these badboys to replace my American Apparel v neck collection! I am 6 foot 1 and weigh 165lbs. In AA, i was wearing a size XL because their Large size was too tight and too short. Now that gap has this "deep" version- even though its only like a regular v neck version of the AA shirts, it comes in Large Tall; which is the PERFECT size/fit!! I am glad these aren't as deep as the AA's Deep version... Because those are just over the deep end.

Best T''s Ever!!
I ordered several of these t's for my husband who is an avid bodybuilder. I was concerned about the fit for his chest and shoulders. To my delight they fit awesomely well! The deep v in these shirts fit so well for him. Another plus is that the material gives so well. My husband loves them so much he wants me to order more! I would definitely recommend these wonderful ... shirts.

Simply Perfect! These are better than BR''s soft wash tees!
I have to say I usually only shop at BR but I happened to come up on these in store and lets just say they fit amazing I really hope gap doesn't change a thing about these shirts. To start off with they are the perfect length compared to BR's tees which are notoriously short and wide. And they are very slim fitting which is another major plus because they make your silhouette look very good with a pair of skinny jeans. The depth of the v is spot on its not outrageously deep like that of [...], but yet is not a small v either. Also these shirts wash amazing which in all honesty in not used to saying for most of BR's products, the neck doesn't loose its shape nor does it shrink up in length. These are vastly superior even to BR's new soft wash tees.

EVERY COLOR!
I'm post partum, so regular women's shirts are not working & just fit irregular, I bought this ... every color! They fit super! I bought all Men's size XL, i'm a full chest size 46", these shirts are perfect V & arm length, more colors Gap?! lol

I love these shirts
These shirts are great! I am 6'1 and pretty fit but I have a long torso. Most shirts are made extremely wide when you get into XL sizes. Not so with GAP. The Large tall and XL tall fits perfectly, and I don't look like I am swimming in the ... anymore. I own 9 of these shirts in various colors. My only complaint is that they don't carry tall sizes in stores. If you are a tall person and you need clothes with more length but not necessarily more width......TRY THESE SHIRTS!

Stays tucked, V doesn''t show under dress ...
This is a great ... It's long enough so it stays tucked in no matter how much bending or reaching you do, and the V neck is deep enough that you can undo the top button on your dress or casual ... V doesn't show. Not only that, but (unlike cheaper T's) the collar really does stay flat, because the only seam on the collar is at the bottom of the V. Cheaper T's have one at the shoulder too. I'll definitely be buying more of these.

Beautiful
This is a great casual or everyday ... only issue is that the color ran a bit when washed as care instructions advised, leaving a sort of pink color behind. I still love this ... wish I had 10 more.

Good Deep V overall :)
I am thankful that Gap has tall sizes in shirts, since it is so hard for me to find shirts long enough. I'm 6 foot 7 inches tall and mostly all torso. This ... definatly long enough for me to tuck in, on days that I want to. Plus I love deep V's. This deep V definatly ranks high, just like American Apparel's deep V's.

As expected.
I just received my shirts today in the mail, so I can't speak to the durability or overall quality of these shirts. I did want to put in my 2 cents about the sizing. I like the look of these shirts and the colors. A previous reviewer stated that the tall sizes were really long. I decided to go with these anyway. He was right; these are super long. I am 6'4, 210 lbs. these were well below my waist line. Normally, I think I'd return them. However, I also wear my pants pretty baggy, so these are a nice fit to my wardrobe to replace some of my baggier shirts. I also like the deep v neck. Another reviewer had also mentioned that the ... cut down to his nipples. This was not the case for me. The bottom of the V came to about at least 3-4 inches above my nipples. I didn't find it to be as low cut as a Jockey V neck undershirt, if that helps at all. I think I'd consider getting a couple more but in the regular large size, not the tall large that I purchased.

First Gap Deep V neck purchase
These are my first "deep V necks" from Gap. The depth of the "V" is not too deep, I actually like it. My only complaint is that I like wearing wife beaters underneath and because it is deep cut, the undershirt shows at the bottom of the "V", and also a little bit around the shoulders. Not a big problem, but annoying to me. Maybe I have to go a size smaller? I'm 6'11 and ordered a XL Tall. Overall the shirts are good. I'm interested to see how they hold up though. I bought these for [$], so really shouldn't complain too much. Although, I do prefer and would recommend the "Supersoft V Neck" over these.

My husband has this ... practically every color. Not only are the colors themselves bold enough to wear exposed as a casual ... they are also versatile and look fantastic under his collared shirts as an unexpected, yet still classy, pop of color. The colors don't fade, and the fabric is deliciously soft and hold up wash after wash after wash after wash...... you get the idea; he wears them a lot!

Nice color
They got the purple right. The cotton is soft and it washed well. I work in a casual environment so with a sweater it kicks it up a notch.

Nice Tee!!
I ordered a couple of these for my husband. He's a big guy- and the XXL Tall fits him perfect. It's a fitted tee- lightweight and very soft. He loves these shirts! I will definitely buy more. One thing you should know, I bought the Cosmetic Pink which is actually like a dusty rose color. The color is very pretty, but it's really not pink. We kept this ... anyway, and it looks great on my husband. Overall, very pleased with these shirts!!

They could be better
I don't know what everybody else is talking about, but these shirts are great! Sure the fabric is very thin and "looks" like it could fall apart, but that doesn't mean that it will. I've kept these shirts for quite a while (I think it was in June when I bought five of these) and I've washed them almost every week, and they're still in great shape. But they still could be better. The fabric could be a bit thicker, and still be tight around my body. And the last thing that I wish Gap would do with these shirts would be if they could give them more colors.

Good ...
Great casual ... length of the ... good but the sleeves could be a little longer. I would prefer a better fabric (it feels thin and cheap) but it is light feeling which is a plus. In all, its a good value if you don't expect more out of it than being a basic ... wear in casual settings.

Perfect for Casual

Gap ping ''around
I like these shirts.. I have them in various colors and in the pocket ... version. They do have their minor little flaws like any other clothing but not as bad. Out of a lot of Clothing Brands, Gap by far makes the best tees in my opinion. Tees are suppose to be kinda thin for comfort and simple for casualness. And, they do hold up very well wash after wash, maybe some of these peoples are washing the wrong way. Anyways, I don't get why the majority of these reviews are so negative. They're just plain tees for a fair price and for the casual, active person. Don't get discouraged, try them out

Fits good, but arms stick out
I am really confused with clothe designers inability to make short sleeves that come down your arm and not stick out off your arm. It looks like the shirts don't fit properly when the sleeves stick out. I have to take all my shirts in to have them altered so they go down my arm and not out. I'm not talking about looking like I'm showing off muscle I mean just have the sleeves go down. It's so weird. These shirts will stick out. They are also slightly smaller then you'd expect, but more how they should be. They are not overly wide in the body and are extra long so you can wash and dry them and not worry about them shrinking up too much.

Not too bad.
I agree with some of the other user reviews about the shirts feeling a little thin but I do like the fit. I bought two crewnecks and two v necks. The strangest thing is that the WHITE ... (both in crew and V) feels thicker and sturdier than the other colors. I bought the crewneck in white and my brother in-law bought the v neck in white and we both had the same opinion. If all the colors felt like the white one these shirts would be so much better.

Not enough of a change
I used to love Gap ... shirts when I started buying the athletic fit around 2004 or so. For some reason, they then decided to change the ... shirts to a thinner, less durable fabric, and made them too roomy, giving them neck holes that were far too big. The recent change was an improvement, don't get me wrong. The shirts are now more fitted, and they're longer than I ever remember them being, which were good changes. Unfortunately, the fabric is still much too flimsy, and the neck holes are still WAY too big, much as others have said. I started to have hope upon the release of the "city athlete ... shirts," but unfortunately, they halted production of those ... shirts too. Please bring back those shirts, are use more durable fabric and reasonable neck holes, or I will have to take my business somewhere else.

Missing my Old Gap ... Shirts
Bought my shirts on Lincoln Rd., have previously always worn Gap ... Shirts, no more. Have waited for quality (in particular, the thickness of the marterial) to improve, instead it gets worse. Will use my shirts to clean around my Condo. Was prompted to review based upon some positive comments I read, no way. These shirts are garbage. Sorry. (one star, because no option exists for ZERO stars)

Great
I just want you folks to know, I LOVE THE DEEP V shirts from Gap. I only wished that the size i need was sold in the stores. Here in Hawaii 2XL is really really needed. Im a very athletic guy that spends much time in the gym and so my upper body needs to fit a ... material of these shirts are soooooo perfect, they are cool, light and breezy. It fits like a 50 dollar ... plan on buying tons more of this style. GREAT price i truly cannot show my happiness for these. Thanks so much. Aloha.

This ... has excelent cotton quality. I bought it for my son and now he is happy due to the v neck is very elegant. Being a simple and casual ... looks like very elegant.

The new v neck ...
I got these for home work and for casual wear going out and about the city running errands. The fit is pretty solid in the torso aside from the waist. For fitter men such as myself, it may not be slim fitting. Granted, the ... does not claim to be a slim fit V neck. The collar is durable and shows the right amount of neck. I got it in white, black, and grey.

got holes after a few washes
I loved these tshirts for my husband, was the perfect casual tee, and he liked them too. They are not as slim fit as he would like but good enough...But now that hes worn them a few times so far 2 out of the 4 that I bought have little holes. i guess thats what happnes when the material is so thin. this never happened to his tshirts before, maybe these should be washed in a mesh bag, but this is supposed to be a tshirt not a delicate item.

Not as expected
Definitely get one size smaller, ... loose and probably meant for nightclubs. Not meant for casual. Fabric stretches.

Exactly as I expected
This ... soft and has longer sleeves for those who are taller. I love it! Very comfy and can wear just around the house for comfort or pair with a pair of jeans and have a great casual outfit. Also thin enough to layer.

Perfect
I love this ... so much.. It is so soft and comfy and is one of the only shirts that is long enough for my bump + long torso.

Comfy ...
This is a super soft and comfy maternity ... slightly fitted in the sleeves and tummy but it is very flattering and I am plus size. It is nice and long for when your belly is sticking far out there and SOOO soft. It's a perfect casual ... wear with your favorite jeans and I wear it to work also with a nice pair of pants. Overall, love it!

Great basic wardrobe piece!
I love this ... so much that I bought it in purple stripes and in gray stripes. It's simple, it's soft, and it goes with a pair of blue jeans or casual slacks. Love it!

love the longer length
i love this ... super soft, not too think, not too thin and longer than other maternity shirts in length....this being important because i am nearly 6 ft. tall! on me, the sleeves are a little short, but i'm sure on anyone of average or even a little above average height the sleeves would be perfect! i ordered a medium...my pre pregnancy size in gap and the size is perfect! i love the amount of give the ... has too, some, but not too much that it'll be stretched out. i'm going to order another one in a different color!

Love these shirts
These shirts are a pregnancy MUST HAVE! I bought them to wear around the house but find myself wearing them everywhere. They are really soft too.

Favorite maternity ... - hands down!
I love these shirts! I literally purchased 3 striped (gray, purple & navy) and 3 solid (fuschia, white & black). I bought size L - I am 5'11 - the length on these was great for me. I found these to be so comfy and fit well from the beginning of my 2nd trimester and are still going strong at 37 weeks. I will probably wear these after baby is born for a little while too (until I lose some of the baby weight). I highly recommend these shirts! BUY SOME RIGHT NOW! :)

I Love this ... Worth purchasing in multiples!
This is the softest maternity ... have purchased! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! The fit is great, and the color is great with jeans or khakis. A perfect casual look!

Like I thought it would be
This ... like other non maternity supersoft shirts that I have, is really comfortable, made from quality materials. I'm only in my 2nd trimester, barely showing, but the length of this top makes it ideal for putting over my can't quite-button them prematernity pants. I think this should last me through the third trimester, but I'm hoping our weather is warm enough to wear short sleeves then instead!

Runs a bit small
In my pre pregnancy life I always wore M. I'm at 24 weeks but have gained only a few founds over my pre pregnancy weight because of a bad first trimester, so I thought M would still be the right size. The ... fits and I'll still wear it, but it's tighter in the sleeves than I would have liked for a casual, comfortable ... If I had to buy again, I'd get a L. Also, the navy/white looks almost like black/white.

Love, love, love these shirts!
I first bought just one of these shirts back in December or so when I was in my second trimester. After receiving the first one, I went online and purchased 2 more in different colors. I am currently 36weeks and find myself always looking for one of these shirts when I go to get dressed in the morning! They are so soft and comfortable! I ordered my pre pregnancy size and they still fit perfectly after many washes. My ONLY complaint is that 2 of the shirts ended up with holes in the armpits after one or two wears, but I stitched them up and they have been fine since!
