Finally, a 12 slim!
The hunt for the 12 slim has been a long one. I couldn't find any at the store and only found one 12 slim online. This was it. Just the fact that it ... makes me jump for joy and love this product. Aside from the size, the ... Original ... isn't too baggy, skinny or obnoxious. The pockets are the appropriate size and don't go half way down the thigh. I also like the color. These are great pants and I will keep my fingers crossed that they will continue to be made in slim sizes.

Great ... but runs one size too large.
Great quality dark, denim ... My ... wear size 8 and 12 in Levi's 550 original ... had to go down one size to a 7 and 11 in these ... length is long, which is great, as my children are tall. Overall, they are great ... just order one size down.

Great ...
My 12 yr old son has grown up wearing original Gap slim ... They always ... well and don't look baggy around the hips. The ... wear well after many washings. My son loves them.

... totally wrong
These "original" ... really ... more like a skinny ... They were tight and short in the length. My 8 year old immediately took them off and said he would never wear them and that they were uncomfortable. I already sent them back and exchanged them for the "loose" ... hoping that they would ... more like the "original" should and they do.

My son has always liked the ... your "original" jeans...that is, until now. The distance between the waistband and the crotch has been lengthened so the waistband now sits just under his armpits. Or, if he puts them at his natural waistline, the crotch is very low. Why did you change the cut? Are you trying to make the ... look like they're sagging?

NOTHING FITS BETTER IN A SLIM ...
These are simply the best slim ... ever made for ... they fit well, the waist isn't all bunchy, the legs are slim cut, they have a true slim size to them. THEY ARE WORTH THE $$ ! The slider close is awesome for younger kids. LOVE UM!

Jeans for all my boys
I bought these jeans for all 3 of my boys. They are comfortable, good looking and straight forward. Perfect fit if you are looking for standard boys ... which is exactly why I picked these. They wear them to school or dressed up with a button down. Great price point for kid who are growing fast.

Perfect ...
I originally bought these in a 14 slim because my son wears gap chino pants for school and the 12 slim in those were getting a bit short. The 14 slim ... were huge and very, very long. I exchanged for a 12 slim and they are still pretty long - but he likes them that way. So, don't compare size to the gap chinos. But these are super great ... Great price and really "cool" on. Perfect for 11-year old ... slim are great for skinny guys and even at 11 I still have to love the adjustable waist bands - we can't live without those.

Great fit for slim ...
It's nearly impossible to find a great fit for slim ... No stores in town carry a 16 slim for my 13 year old son. I was very happy to find these online and even happier that they're such a great fit. And he loves them too - despite being a picky teenager.

love these ...
I buy gap ... my ... they are on sale - they are great ... but the regular price is a bit high. A good sale, though, makes them that much better! They wear well, most I am able to hand down to the younger brothers. They are a nice fit and a nice quality denim.

16 Slim - ...
My son is tall and skinny. We have had a heck of a time trying to find ... fit him. Luckily, we found 16 Slim ... GapKids and have been very pleased with the way they look, they're comfortable (according to my son) and priced reasonably.

Love Gap Kids ...
I love Gap Kids ... my extemely skinny and tall son. They fit well without looking baggy even though I have to pull the adjustable waist in about 6 button holes on each side. They don't look cinched, they still look normal. I just wish that all the ... had reinforced knees, he is blowing them out so fast!!!

Like the ... but inconsistent in sizing
My 9 year old son loves the Gap Original ... -- especially the bar slide closure instead of a button or snap. This is the third year that he has worn these ... exclusively. I recently purchased 8 pair of the Gap Original ... him in three different "washes". All of the ... were ordered and were labelled the same size -- 8 regular. The two pair in the lighter color (which can only be returned by mail) have a smaller waist and are shorter in length than the other 6 pairs in the darker washes. These ... him, as the other pairs are quite long and have to be cinched in with the inner elastic. This inconsistency in sizing is the only reason I gave the ... 4 stars instead of 5. We have always been very happy with this brand and style of ...

Why change a good thing?
Why did these have to be restyled with a skinnier fit? I put in my annual order for original fit ... which have always fit my tall skinny son in slims. The original ... were not too loose and floppy, but were just relaxed and comfortable. This time, when he tried them on, he yelled "Mom! These are skinny ... Not a good thing. Keep the skinny ... skinny, leave the originals alone, please. Interestingly, I ordered loose ... replace the ... new "loose ... close to the old "original." Took me three tried to get my size 18 slim ... his annual ... He was stuck wearing shorts and track pants until after Thanksgiving!

Love Them / Hate Them
Every year I struggle with ... my son. I go through the same thing every year with GAP. I ordered a pair of these Original ... they ... perfectly. OK - I ordered the right one, so I go back and order 3 more of what I thought was going to be the same thing. They come and are all too small!! They are shorter, tighter down the legs and the leg opening at the bottom is smaller. They must be the skinny ... - which he doesn't want - even though the back waist reads Original ... have already opened two pair and threw them in the wash so I cannot return them. I will return the last pair. This happened to me last year too. Love the ... right ones) but there is no consistency when ordering online. Also, I can never find these in a store. Is there more than one style of "Original" ... just don't get it!

Original Gap ...
Although these ... have the same order/style number as previous ... have for my grandson, they are definitely not the "original gap" ... have gotten before. These are cut more like skinny ... So if you want the same ... "original" ... these are not for you. I am very disappointed.
