My new favorite ...
... my new favorite. I usually bought the original ... my son because I thought the ... looked way too baggy, but they're not. They look really cute on and my son loves them.

My ... have worn GAP ... forever. I just buy the next size up to be ready for the growth spurt. They ... well and the adjustable waist is great! I don't have hand me-downs because both my ... wear out the knee (yes, only one side!) but otherwise they are durable and comfortable. My only disappointment in these ... however is that they are no longer avaialble in stores - just online only.

Great ...
The husky ... my older grandson to a "t". I also bought him a husky originl ... well also, just not as relaxed a ... others. My younger grandson needs a slim ... so I bought him slim original ... fine. The waist on the Gap ... 1" smaller, but this meant he did not have to wear a belt like his other slim ... bought elsewhere.

My son is in a size 8 original and straight ... Gap ... 8 ... were WAY TOO ... tried the 8 Slim in the ... they were perfect.

Cute ... but definitely ...
We have alway purchase the ... toddler ... they worked great and we liked the elastic waist, so I thought these would be a good transition to Kids Gap. Well they are ... sure, too ... big over all of my little ... Too bad because the color and style were really cute. We exchanged for the original ... which is a much better ... my average ... five year old.

Inconsistent Sizing
First, Thank you, Gap, for having SLIMS in ... sizes up to 18! I just wish you carried them in your stores. I ordered 2 of these in 18 slim for my son who is tall and slim but not big enough yet for waist/inseam sized pants. The sizing chart said that the waist would be 27" and the length would ... up to 5'7". The length was as expected--my son is about 5'5-6" and there is enough length to last him for a while. However one pair came in with a 27" waist and the other pair came in with a 28" waist. He tried both on and when one was too big, I measured their waists. The one that ... exactly 27" as expected. The other, which is marked 18 slim, measured 28" and is too ... him to wear so has to be sent back. This is a lack of quality control. (There was no "inspected by" number in the pocket, either!) I will exchange for another pair, but an only hope that the next pair they send will be cut properly. He loves the style, though, and wears the one that fits all the time.

BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION OF THE ...
Please note that my ratings are for last year's version of the ... am writing to echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer in asking, begging, pleading with GAP to PLEASE bring back the elastic waist ... have 3 ... ages 4, 6 and 9 and after many years of trial and error sizing with other ... my oldest son, your elastic waist ... ONLY ... have been buying for each of my 3 ... past 3 years. Last week when I went to your website to purchase the next size up I was shocked to see that you had changed the design. I have many years left of purchasing these ... have told other moms about them. Judging by your website comments, these ... were a favorite for many, so please listen to your customers and go back to the old design. Given that you could only purchase them on the website, I will not be ordering the new design based on the previous reviewers comment about inaccurate sizing within multiple pairs of the same ... has time for returns when the old design was a sure thing for busy moms looking to purchase something quickly on line?

A little tight
These ... do ... my son in the waist, but only if the "adjustors" are on the first button hole (i.e. adjusted to be as ... possible). I've never put a pair of huskey's on my son where I didn't have to go several button holes in on the size adjustors, so that really surprised me. Also, they are difficult for him to button. I wish they would continue to put snaps on ... even as they grow up. In my opinion, ... don't care at all about the "look" of a button vs. snap, they care about how *easy* and quick it is to get their pants done up.

Slims NOT for slim kid
Bought these for my tall & slim son, but the ... style not good for long & lean ... Even with the adjustable waist, the slim size version of these ... has a waist that's much too large. We also ordered the ORIGINAL style ... those worked perfectly for slim size.

Both my sons have a hard time with buttons and snaps. We were thrilled that the ... had the slide closure. It was PERFECT for them and ... have worn them for years. We just ordered our first pair of ... 10 and we were so DISAPPOINTED that after ... 8 ... switch to a button. Honestly, I would have ordered these ... average we 4-6 pairs a year for each son, forever. But now I will have to start looking for another option.

My son is in a size 8 original and straight fit Gap ... Size 8 loose fit were WAY TOO LOOSE. I tried the 8 Slim in the Loose fit and they were perfect.

AWESOME
I have 3 boys and NEVER buy them any other brand of jeans. GAP jeans are AWESOME!!! They fit perfect. I have one ... average size, one on the chunky side, and one that is thin. With the adjustable waist these jeans fit all three ... perfect. Sometimes they outgrow them before they wear them out. GAP jeans are durable and last a long time. I will never buy any other brand for my ...

All Gap ... wonderful. They are the only ... my ... can wear and I feel like I get my moneys worth. Sure , I've bought all the cheaper ones but the knees wear out so fast or tear at seams that if I have to buy cheap ... more often, I'm not saving money so I always buy Gap ... adjustable waist, they always fit.

Love these!
We love Gap loose ... They do ... "slightly" longer than the regular ... also know that his loose ... little longer than the regular as we transition to the next size. They look good on him and are his favorites. (My son is average sized but tall.)

These ... comfortable. My son picked them out over the regular ... becasue he wanted a loose ... thought they were cool. They ... well, loose not baggy.

I've bought gap ... my ... years now. I have one ... husky size and one who is a slim. These ... true to fit and very comfortable. The ... wonderful and wearable.A must have for your ... closet.

Pleased, but 1 small improvement needed
I am very pleased with the ... I've bought for both my 6 1/2 yr. old and my 4 yr. old sons. They fit well, they're comfortable and launder well also. However, my ... very active and the knees of the ... wearing out much faster than expected. I know patches can be ironed on for continued wear, but patches only last so long and it takes away from the quality of the ... Can you make them with reinforced knees??

Ok look
My son likes the original ... better -- he is 5'5" and 101 pounds, but they didn't have the darker rinse available in original, only the loose ... loose ... definitely has a lot more leg room on him, and I don't like the look, but he states that they are fine and still comfortable.

Good for certain builds
I ordered two pair of these ... - one for an average build kiddo and one for a ... has a sturdier buiild but who isn't thick enough to wear husky ... definitely be ordering more for the latter child because they fit him amazingly well. I also ordered some straight fit for child number one; while the straight fit was perfect for him, the loose fit fell off even with the adjustable waist tightened up completely. The loose fit was way too loose for him, so those will be going back, while the loose fit is perfect for my in between build son.

Frustrated with ... sizes
Went to the Gap store and none of the sizes in stock fit my son. Tried these but they don't ... either. Loose ... husky is too big, loose ... regular is too small. Have ordered regular ... husky to see if they work. Wish they carried more sizes in the store so my son could try them on!!!

Crazy Long!
Not sure what to do about these ... Both of my ... have worn Old Navy and GAP ... since they could walk, but this year they are totally a bad fit! Each year they tend to go up one size, so I ordered one size up for them again, (they had grown out of the size last year) but when these arrived they were both about 6 inches TOO LONG! Makes no sense to me and I'm not sure what the answer from here is!
